Thanks, I agree NR is a super-value brand. I have a NR tail pack for my dirt bike, and a bike cover for my GS and they perform way above their price point. (I stay in motels and lodges so need the security of hard luggage so use Touratech for panniers.) Thanks again for an honest review.
Right on! I still have my Givi hard panniers for "road trips". But these days the Nelson Rigg kit sees way more action!!!
I use their dry bags on my street glide instead of a tour pack. I have both sizes and love them on long road trips.

Good video, I’m surprised you didn’t mention how the tank bag works when fueling. Some are a pain to unbuckle, but others are quick and easy, how would you rate this one? Thanks.
Thanks for the reminder! Actually, you saw the clip at the end where I release the four buckles and walk away. Well fueling is super easy because I just release two of the buckles and let the bag hang off the side!
Do these flop around? They look a bit overloaded in the video. Debating on these panniers or the Giant Loop RTW. I like the price of these and you can do a bit more compartmentalization with the mole panels but the Giant loop stuff is super light and HUGE.
Hey DrGonzo! They don't flop around at all. They are indeed a little over-filled. And they do stick out more than normal in my setup because I have them on that quick release plate. Plus the side we filmed on sticks out a little further due to the muffler. But if you strap them directly to your rack, they are a lot tighter and neater. Don't get me wrong, Giant Loop makes great stuff too. They have sponsored us with products to review as well. Check out our review of their Fandango tank bag, a direct competitor to the Hurricane Adventure tank bag we reviewed in this video. But for the price, Nelson Rigg seems to be of equal quality, but at a lower price...and can often be found on sale!
