    There’s a secret menu :
-Ask to B.O.B. Your Toast. (Butter on both sides)
    - you can get naked fingers (without the batter)
    - they have homemade honey mustard which is so good!
    - if you get the sandwich combo, you can ask for toast instead of buns.
    - you can switch out any side for any other side. So you can order no coleslaw and get a extra toast or fries .
    :)

I've found that taking the box out of the bag and opening it a bit can help to decrease the sog factor--but might also cool your food off if the ac is own--which I imagine it almost always is in FL

NOLA girl here! This was a fun one for me to watch. Thanks for switching lanes to get Canes! 😂
The reason that it was soggy is because it was a to go order. It was so hot and steaming in the box and the built up steam makes it soggy.
You can absolutely ask for a sandwich with toast instead of a bun.
You can also get no slaw double fries or no slaw double toast.
I have to say that I also think Popeyes has a better flavor but Canes is more meaty.
The sweet tea is one of the best around as well as the lemonade.

My husband and I are a little (a lot) OBSESSED with Raising Canes. We have tried several copy cat recipes, and this is the best one we have found so far!
    1 cup mayonnaise
    1/2 cup ketchup
    1/2 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
    1 teaspoon black pepper
    1 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon Cajun seasoning (something like Slap Ya Mama or Tony Chachere)
    1/4 teaspoon celery salt
Feel free to add more of any of these seasonings to your liking, especially black pepper. Also, it is imperative you make this a day ahead. Store in an air-tight container overnight in the fridge to let the flavors marry. I hope you guys give this recipe a shot!

One of the good things about canes is that because they only do fingers and fries, they can batch cook things pretty easily and the lines (on not-opening day) tend to move fairly quickly.
The wife and I typically split the caniac combo and have plenty of food. It wasn't crunchy because they do a fresher breading. Also, it sat in the container long enough that it steamed itself. Typically better if you are able to eat there or in the restaurant

Coming from Baton Rouge where Canes was originated... I remember when the sandwich was originally served on toast (there were no buns). However, some people would jip the system and order the sandwich with sauce on the side and no lettuce so it would basically be a 3 finger combo with a free extra toast. I remember the day they told me I could no longer get sauce on the side lol

Glad you guys got a Canes!! We lived in Columbus and ate it all the time. So good- our fave! We have one close-ish to where we live now, but not close enough. You’re correct about the sauce. I’ve made it before at home and as long as you let it meld, it tastes exactly the same. A few of the things they say is, “hot chicken, hot chicken, which combo ya picking?” And they say, “welcome to rainsing canes, where our sauce is the boss.” There’s more I just can’t remember.
Lastly… the sauce isn’t usually your fave the first time you go… it’s one of those things that grows on you and gets better each time you go until you love it!!

Also, I agree the chicken doesn’t have a lot of flavor to them (unlike Chick-fil-A). To me, the sauce is what makes it great. I also use extra sauce (my kids don’t use it, so I usually steal theirs). Lol.
Even when my kids get the kids combo, I have to order extra toast so they can have their own. They love it!!

If they have it, you can also substitute Honey Mustard sauce for Canes Sauce if you are not a fan of that either.
You can order the tenders 'naked' (non breaded) but understand that takes longer due to them having to drop them when ordered, pack patience if you ask for that.

We love canes here in louisiana. They have a minimal menu but I also ask for them to fry my chicken longer and their tea and lemonade is great

Always get an extra sauce! One isn’t enough! I dip everything in the sauce. Jenn you are right, it’s not a crunchy finger but it’s so yummy!

Canes is awesome! So good! I also love that their batter is lighter and the fries are crinkle cut. Also, obviously the Texas toast is chef’s kiss.
Also, I love my fried chicken tenders bigotry-free! ❤

I live nowhere near a Raising Cane’s so all I know is I see a lot of people eat it on TikTok, specifically the one video of someone getting a whole drink cup filled with the sauce! Thanks for the review, hope I can try it someday.

We love Canes, it was our go to place to eat in Las Vegas when we drove through to go to Disneyland. Now we have a lot of them in Utah, even a Post Malone themed one by us.

Happy Wednesday, you wonderful people! I love Raisin Cane’s! I haven’t been able to find out about what’s in the Cane Sauce. But Jen and I might be sisters cause I loved that sauce! But big question is: Will yall go back again after that taste test?

Here in Louisiana, people buy a drink cup full of the sauce to use as dipping for crawfish.

Enjoyed the video. I live in Lake Charles, LA, 2 hours from Baton Rouge, weve had Canes here for years, it is right across from McNeese State and the line in the ladt few years is so long a lot of the time. I like it but dont feel its worth the wait.

I agree with you both on that. I think Raising Caines needs to cookies chocolate chip, chocolate chunk, white chocolate chip macadamian nut, oatmeal raisin cookies, and fried apple and cherry pies for as dessert items in my opinion.

I’m born and raised in south LA and also an LSU alum. My first Cane’s experience was at the original location while in college. Of course we have them all over down here now. We love Cane’s and they also have some of the best customer service when it comes to fast food chains. I work admin at my daughter’s school and we give out Cane’s certificates for free kids meals when they make honor roll. ❤

I’m glad y’all enjoyed! The Zaxby’s in our city went out of business in less than a year. We’re a Cane’s town for sure haha. I do love their cane’s sauce, but I would recommend their honey mustard as well! Maybe it’s because it was opening day there that they didn’t have anything but Cane’s sauce? But they definitely have other sauces in my local Cane’s. I don’t normally eat meat, but my husband will get a combo with extra fries and substitute the coleslaw for another toast (we’re not coleslaw people), and I’ll eat the fries and toast with the sauce. And I love their tea!
