I start at my local Mahindra dealership tomorrow in the service department. I’m Super excited and your video helped me get an idea for what I might be getting myself into! Thanks for the info and awesome video
I'm at 287hrs right now and about to do the complete 300hr service but still have a few weeks because it's cold and wet here I'm not putting hours on quickly.
I just pulled the fuel filter off my 1626 S ,. Had a pan underneath. It did not ever stop flowing. Just so ya know. Maybe mine's broke? But that fuel just kept coming out so I had to put the filter back on. I was looking for info on the fuel injectors bc I'm told it is hydrostatic locked. We are having shortages, so I get to fix it myself. And learn how.
Hi... You have a great delivery, and make it very easy to follow. I have 2 different numbers on my 2 large oil filters (replacements came in Mahindra packaging from the dealr. I have had no luck figuring if there is a difference, and if so, which is which. Would you happen to know the filter numbers for each application? Also, should the front axle fluid be changed at 50 hours?
I do not recall the numbers for them but I would suspect you could find the pdf owners manual somewhere online with that info. As for the gear oil I do not believe that is part of the 50 hour service
I just checked my manual. They do not specify part numbers for the filters. They just want you to work with the dealer to get parts, and tell you which is which. The manual contradicts itself about the front axle fluid. Page 86 says to change it at 50 hours. Page 88 also says change it the first time at 50, then every 300. Page 110 says to change it every 300, plus see the "NOTE". The "NOTE" says to change it after the first 100 hours, and then every 200 hours. It seems like the safe interpretation is to change it at 50, then every 300 hours after that.
But the tractor is a little guy... And your cute little doggie photo makes me think.... That is a cute little guy too... I suspect you do not like hypocorisms 😂

Glad the content helped! They are great little tractors, and service seems to be pretty easy to do as well. I hope your dealer takes good care of you!
Great job Ian! 👍
Thank you! This tractor is such an amazing tool
Super exited , dear god
Excitement was short lived once you heard 'little guys' 🤣
Do you have a video on changing the hydraulic fluid and filter?

You can always use a softer clip like a chip clip to pinch the fuel line if for some reason it keeps flowing. Good luck with the project
