I think the Sonic Death scene does come back in the full game (and...I think the Grumps series if I recall? Can't remember which episode though) But when they do it in 'present day' Sonic literally just shrugs off the rocks and stands up perfectly alive again. So that opening foreshadow/fake out was still utterly pointless. And yeah you're totally right about the 2 Day thing, that's just as ridiculous in the full game as it is in the highlight reel here.
Well, I'm sure it'll be comforting for you to know that you didn't actually waterboard yourself and I really wish Arin had actually researched that form of torture before running his mouth to Ross about it. The whole point of waterboarding is to make someone feel like they're drowning without actually drowning them, so a towel is placed over the victim's face before they start pouring the water, which prevents them from breathing, which is then removed for a few breaths before reapplying the cloth and repeating the process (they're also hung on a reverse incline, but that's unrelated to the drowning sensation, as far as I know, it's just to make it feel worse)

Sonic Boom is actually interesting; there’s little puzzles and random tasks and the open world is full of color and charm, but it’s the lack of polish that makes it terrible. Skyward sword is so pretty, and the game is finished and polished, but the story and world are lifeless.

More is always better. Plus fish are susceptible to stress like any other animal, and there’s a lot of stress in getting shipped to pet stores, being stored in cramped display tanks, and then getting put into a brand new tank with totally different water and usually not enough hides or plants. Plus, people often assume snails or bottomfeeders just clean your tank for you instead of doing water changes and tank cleanings.
Poké-Maniac Chris it’s all about space. As long as water meets air somewhere, oxygen will dissolve into it. Bubblers and filters add further oxygenation to the water, but aren’t strictly necessary. What fish usually lack is space. Goldfish (particularly Comet goldfish) grow until the space confines them, I had a comet I got from a friend that grew to nearly six inches in my ten gallon tank, and I had to give him away because he was getting too big to move around the tank comfortably. If you were to get a comet or other (non specially bred) goldfish, and kept upgrading your tank as it grows, you could probably keep one around for several years barring stress/illness.

Most goldfish need 30+ gallons of water to themselves, and they're very messy fish so they need a robust biological system established in their tank (a cycled tank) to remove the ammonia from their waste and keep them from poisoning themselves to death. you don't have to be barry/kevin to catch all the fucked up scene transitions. You can just watch normally and see characters randomly disappear and clip through stuff. Who on earth did the pan/cropping?
What needs to happen is someone should hire an army of game developers to straight up FORCE quality control in the Sega corporation. That way, they don't get greedy and make half-assed games. They can FORCE them to wait at least 2 years for another major Sonic game, and FORCE anti-greed practices. If they don't, they will violate the contract and get booted off the company.
Yeah, it was probably part of a scene they skipped with the Knuckles glitch. Because that is in the game. Along with a bunch of other cutscenes and sidequests that just never happened in the playthrough.

They missed how at 19:18 if you go frame by frame, you see Amy get teleported in front of Sonic, stop moving, and while Sonic is running she disappears into the ground

I come back to this comp a lot because I like listening to Grump comps when I draw. I just *actually* watched it and only now have I realized that the Sonic getting crushed by rocks death scene never actually happened and Shadow showed up once in the beginning and didn't appear for the rest of the game.

you don't have to be barry/kevin to catch all the fucked up scene transitions. You can just watch normally and see characters randomly disappear and clip through stuff. Who on earth did the pan/cropping?

What needs to happen is someone should hire an army of game developers to straight up FORCE quality control in the Sega corporation. That way, they don't get greedy and make half-assed games. They can FORCE them to wait at least 2 years for another major Sonic game, and FORCE anti-greed practices. If they don't, they will violate the contract and get booted off the company.
If not that, Nintendo should just buy Sonic Team. They'll give a better environment than Sega ever did.

Yeah, it was probably part of a scene they skipped with the Knuckles glitch. Because that is in the game. Along with a bunch of other cutscenes and sidequests that just never happened in the playthrough.
It did happen - it happens during the floating gold platform parts. And is immediately resolved literally five seconds later when sonic pops out of the rocks like a goddamn daisy

They missed how at 19:18 if you go frame by frame, you see Amy get teleported in front of Sonic, stop moving, and while Sonic is running she disappears into the ground
this is my favorite game grumps playthrough by far, so many funny moments that would have made this like 4 hours
Arin and Dan talking extensively about the death of the author theory while playing this god awful, but entertaining, mess that is Sonic Boom is exactly why I love Game Grumps
God after hearing Dan's story a number of times I took the time to actually search yt for "Marshawn Lynch Buffalo Applebee's" and it's one of the most beautiful wholesome things I've ever seen. He genuinely enjoys that fuckin' Applebee's.

I come back to this comp a lot because I like listening to Grump comps when I draw. I just *actually* watched it and only now have I realized that the Sonic getting crushed by rocks death scene never actually happened and Shadow showed up once in the beginning and didn't appear for the rest of the game.
