Featured in TIR Episode 311 (Part 1 of 2; see Part 2 here: • "TRUTH IN RHYTHM" - Ya... ): R&B singers, keyboardists and composers Cavin Yarbrough and Alisa Peoples, famously known as the duo Yarbrough and Peoples. All four of their early 1980s albums reached the Top 25 of the R&B chart, with the debut, called The Two of Us, hitting No. 1. Those records featured seven Top 20 R&B hit singles, including a pair of dancefloor-ready chart-toppers in “Don’t Stop the Music” and “Don’t Waste Your Time.” Other big hits included “Heartbeats,” “Guilty” and “I Wouldn’t Lie.”
In more recent years, the duo has appeared in theater productions and continues to delight audiences on the concert circuit.

Don’t stop the music - Yarbrough & peoples is from faaaaar one of the best 80s song, the song is just supernaturally good no joke, CAUTION, risk of imminent teleportation to the Chicago neighborhoods of the 80s while listening to it !

They got a song called "Special" that's sooooo dope.
These two are grounded and been together for so many years.
Really wish you would've picked up and asked questions when they brought up how they weren't getting paid. Instead, you kept moving on with totally unrelated questions. That's an important part of the story of these black artists in that era.
I do believe it's also talked about some more in Part 2.

They had an album where they were dressed in like sweetheart outfits, the album cover was pink and red with hearts and stuff like that. I loved that album. But I can't find it anywhere
