- Hello everyone! Welcome back to my craft room. I'm Whitney Lucas with Crafty Thoughts & Whatnots. Today's video is a part 2 sort of to the Spring 2023 IOD (Iron Orchid Designs) Moulds. I have 3 of the new moulds and with the air dry clay I made some gorgeous peices!

You do such beautiful things. I have never done mounds. I really like what you have done. It's refreshing and different than what is on RUclips. I love what other people are doing. I have been making projects like crazy!
I use DAS a lot, however IOD is the absolute best on the market. I prefer to use only IOD, but I do use DAS when covering larger projects and stamping into it.
The resin is AWESOME if you want precision details. Just make sure you get the quick set. It sets in about 10 minutes and is bendable for a little bit. Love how your projects turned out. Thank you for all the inspiration!

I think your little Hobbit door craft was really pretty. I cannot believe how detailed those tiny leaves were on that door. I like your rusty tin. It turned out great. It is funny back in the day, not sure when that was, but we used to throw away rusty, old, dingy, things now we buy new stuff and make it look old, rusty and dingy, Ain't we just a silly bunch. Wow! That pot with the mushies on it is really great looking. I like to call hummingbirds, hummies. I just wanted to share that with you. Yes, that little ladybug makes it for me as well. I so enjoy watching and listening to your channel.
yes i do that too with Huimmies! We get a ton of them in my backyard every year.. so awesome! and of course we do the opposite of what used to be the norm.. tomorrow trash will be our treasure and we ill adapt there too. LOL Many hugs and happy crafting!

That mushroom flower pot wood look so cute with moss with in between the mushrooms and even a door from the moulds.

Love all of these! The door is gorgeous! The tin turned out awesome! I would have never thought to put mushrooms on anything other than my pizza….but that pot and arrangement? made me love mushrooms 🍄 Amazing! And the lady bug 🐞 Perfect!!!! 😍😍😍😍

Loved them all but the pot was my favorite. The chocolate tin reminds me of something you would find in grandpas attic that he has had since he was a boy. The door project really surprised me. At first I thought you were making a headstone for Halloween. Haha. Love how they turned out.

The flower pot is my favorite. The mushroom with the curly top is called a Morrell. Very expensive.

Oh good! I am not alone in my purchasing enough to go thru an apocalypse. A friendly FYI if you put the mold with the clay in it in the freezer it holds its shape and detail firmly where you can glue it down before it cures

Fast drying resin is great. The rim is called a micro rim. That is what the IOD sisters call it. I love these moulds. I have all except the dew drop one . They are pricey.

Great projects. I'm from Manitoba, Canada and the squishy mushrooms are called morel mushrooms. Highly sought after and hard to find. Very expensive to buy and they have a nutty flavor to them.

Oh Adlene, I'm sorry to hear that.. But i too have the beginnings of that. I had carpel tunnel years ago and had the surgeries for it.. IT worked for some time.. but I do still have issues from time to time so I can understand where your coming from. I am going to try out some quick setting resin soon and that would be a great alternative for those of us whose hand strength is lacking these days. The Morel Mushrooms are a big deal here in Michigan. Just saw a gentleman selling 2 pounds for $50. My son knows a person that charges $75./a pound. I'm not so much a mushroom person but did try them once when first married to my husband, (46 years now). Cooked them in butter, salt and pepper. They were alright but wouldn't go mushroom hunting in May up north with my cousins
Yes! Here in Nebraska, they're considered cheap at $30 a pound.

Those mushrooms you scared of are called dry land fish and they're very good to eat I love them but they're so hard to find
