the Pedal magnet wheel, how will that spin if you taken off the arm?

Hi, the magnet ring has some removable spiky grips in the centre that grip onto the square shaft of the crank so that it rotates with the crank. So you can remove the arm if there is a gap of 2 to 4mm between the pedal arm and the bike frame.
I believe the extension arm is for when there is no gap between the pedal arm and the bike frame. In that case, you have to remove the spiky grip halves and secure the ring by cable-tying the arm to the pedal arm and carefully aligning it to spin true around the crank. You can leave the arm on in any case for added certainty.

@@geartechstuff3592 Isee those fingers as a washer held in by pressure, and I guess everyone has a different way of install, just glad I see different installs, the arm piece is not to rotate Isay, it looks like it is

I have a gen 1 battery, which is useless after it reaches less than 50%, how is this new battery? also the motor is only 250W how do you find the power?

The battery seems ok so far after 9 months. I mostly do short trips so the battery usually lasts ok. I did do a longer ride of 9 miles and it started to cut out intermittently which is about the halfway mark of the alleged range. I was on full power the whole time though with some hills and some periods of not pedalling. I wouldn't trust it to go the full 20 miles though.
250 watts is fine for my usage, more power would be good but I think 250W is the legal limit here in the UK.

what did you use to cut the sensor? mine is also slightly too big and I have to cut off the adjustment. Also my pedal sensor isnt really locking in place - I put it on and the C clamp ring over it, but i dont see how that will stay on without falling off - if i hit a couple of bumps that sensor thats supposed to lock over the pedal will definitely fall off. Its the universal sensor too

I cut the bracket off the sensor with a small metal hacksaw which works well. My pedal sensor (magnet ring) stays on and locks in place on the square crank shaft with the spiky split washer and C ring. For added security, I have now attached the extension arm onto the magnet ring which helps to keep it securely in place and makes it a little harder to steal. The extension arm is cable-tied onto the pedal arm.

@@geartechstuff3592 I never got the extension arm part - not sure they send those anymore, or maybe just not with my model 🤷🏽‍♂️ the sensor just doesn’t seem very secure to me, even with the C ring on it - I’ll play around with it and see what I can do. Thanks for the video and the feedback
