Boondock Camping at Rutherford Beach, Cameron LA 2023

Mardi Gras weekend of 2023 I went to Rutherford Beach and solo boondock camping. I've lived in Louisiana for 15 years and this is my first time camping here. I only camp for one night, it was quite a new experience for me. This is my first time camp directly on the beach so I didn't know what to expect. The mosquitoes was horrible, they came out after dark and swarmed around my truck all the way till dawn. I had to leave early due to the mosquitoes. Overall it was nice for a change. I would recommend you cone prepared if yiu plan to stay here long. I would probably camp again during the cold weather when them mosquitoes are gone. Anyway I hope y'all enjoy my solo Boondock adventure at Rutherford Beach.
