I was 13 when the Beatles first came to the states. Now 72 and have seen Rain live 4 times. Always worth the price of admission. But the best part of those 4 concerts was watching and listening with my 3 kids who are huge Beatles fans!!
I've seen rain 4 times so far and they are so incredible and spot on with everything especially Paul for me. The last time I saw them which was in July of 2023, I made a heart at Paul and he instantly did one back. It meant a lot to me since he's my favorite. If rain comes to your area go see them. It's the closest thing to seeing the Beatles.
I just saw the 2019 Abbey Road show this weekend. I love the Beatles so much I've never seen a tribute band thinking they could not live up. Was I ever wrong. I was so stunned seeing it Friday night that I was in tears and had to go back last night. So lucky they were in our area for 5 nights. Thank you for posting this! Go see the new 2019 version.
This is a pretty good show, and in fact it's a lot better than expected. When it comes to tribute bands there are usually 2 types: 1) A band like this puts on a show, trying to capture the look AND sound of the band. They do this by playing all the music live, and also concentrating on the visual aspect of the band, usually wearing wigs and costumes so that it appears as if the band is back together, playing live, which creates more of a show". The downside to this type of tribute band is the music can sometimes take a backseat to the visual part of the show. 2) Then there is the second type, where a group of musicians get together to perform the songs as accurately as possible. Usually they pay very little attention to the visual part, instead focusing on the music and reproducing the songs as they were recorded. Probably one of the best types of this style tribute band is, The Fab Faux. The Fab Faux has been performing the music of The Beatles for years playing shows where they will perform an entire album, like Sgt. Pepper or Revolver. These musicians are really good at capturing the "Beatles Sound" almost identical to the real band. I prefer this type of tribute band because for me, it's all about the music.....when I hear them doing, Tomorrow Never Knows, I can close my eyes and picture The Beatles doing that song. After watching some of the Rain shows here on youtube, I am interested in seeing the show in person for myself. Once they start doing shows again, I will try to catch one in NY or Philly.

Paul C. as Paul is absolutely AMAZING and has (IMO) surpassed his dad's version of the act. He looks, sounds and acts so flawlessly, that it's hard to believe he's not the real deal. Loved the rest of the guys, of course, but Paul C. FTW!!!
I love the minor details like John's leather hat, the stances, the way Paul tapped his foot and the many costumes to fit the albums. I saw them twice. The first time I swear I saw part of heaven. The second time I was front row at Paul's feet. He pointed at us twice. Surprisingly, I woke up fully able to talk the next day, no sore throat, just blissful memories.
This was great! This confused me a bit as when I saw them live, John sounded, well, better. Like the actual John, not like Tina from Bobs Burgers. Not that he was bad.
Hanging With Nathan I know they have multiple people, and I know that Steve Landes is the one that sounds most like John, I’m pretty sure the one I’m talking about is Jimmy Irizarry, but they all sound incredibly amazing!
I've known these guys ever since I was a little girl! I first met them when I was ten or eleven years old. Paul Curatolo's father, Joey, was in the band at the time, as Paul, along with Joe Bithorn and Ralph Castelli as George and Ringo, and Mark Lewis, their original keyboard player and founding member. I've gotten to know Paul, Alistair, Aaron, and Mark Beyer well too. The one that I have remained close with since the very beginning, is Steve! He is from Philadelphia just like me, and he and I are still good friends to this day. Thank you so much for posting this! Thanks for the video. I saw them at The Theatre at Madison Square Garden 3 wks ago and the show was phenomenal....Not only were they great musicians, they were excellent voice inpersonators as well. I would love to see them again.

You might want to compare the Beatles with the Fab Four--a MUCH better Beatles tribute band!!! These guys are OK but have problems (like Paul being flat on A Hard Day's night, for example). Yes, the Fab Four isn't perfect--NOBODY is--but they still are a better band than this or any other Beatles tribute band out there IMHO.
No, I think it's the pianist in the back playing all those sounds and stuff, and I think they are playing live because 1 how do you fake drums like common, and 2 I recognize the cords and I think they match.
My wife and two of my grandkids saw them this past sunday, they were totally brilliant, we all loved it, and Paul was spot on. It was like going back in time.
You guys should check out American English beatles tribute band, their Paul is a bit older, but he's very much like Sir Paul, and also their John Lennon. They're an amazing band in Chicago, but I believe they're completely underrated.
The band sounds great, but what's up with Paul's Bass amp ? I had a Vox T-100 with 2 15's and it was nowhere near that big or thick in depth. It looks cartoonish....makes me think it was a prop and Paul went straight to the board... That being said, fantastic band and show.
I wonder if the bass player is really left-handed or just had to learn to play that way. Edit, yeah, he changed his left handed bass for a right handed guitar for "Yesterday". Wow, great effort to learn to play the bass left handed.
Hey Rover… actually, it’s not that hard to learn to play “lefty” when you’re right handed. I did it - because my right hand is stronger and so more able to hold barr chords much longer than my left. There are plenty of left handed guitarists who play “righty”. Most guitar companies make 95% of their guitars in the “right-handed” direction. It’s just another one of those conventions! Cheers!

How is Ian B Garcia from 'Rain' an asshole? Let's just say there is a collective group of very experienced musicians in and around Toronto area who have played with him in various bands and Beatle projects. Unlike other players he never chipped in for rehearsal space fees, in fact demanded being paid to rehearse, he cancelled lucrative shows that were lined up last minute, and on it goes.I know you're a Beatle fan if you encounter this man do your best to avoid and never get involved musically it will cost you big$$. Lots of empty seats...I've seen these guys , Beatlemania, tribute 1964 , Apple Corps , yellow matter custard. But none of these can compare or match the Fab Four. Who are hands down the best ..intimate tribute band

The ever tribute band of the Beatles, I've heard the performed live, on board the Cruise ship, in the 90's, m/s Sunward ll , Norwegian Cruise Lines..a good copy cat band of the Beatles.....

Excellent cover band ,but Hard Days Night, not quite there,only Paul can reach the high notes,but very good cover band.

Saw them in Vancouver B.C. a number of years ago, thought the band and total visual and music experience was excellent.
Rain puts on an AMAZING show!! Saw them live last year, and they were awesome. If you didn't know better, you would think it was actually them.
