I live in Houston, Texas and I’ve met quite a few Australians who either moved here or were visiting. I swear they are the nicest people on the face of the earth.
This seems a little one sided. Mostly because these are all people who live in a far more urban place. Now I’m from Tasmania, so I’m also probably biased, but it’s really common to see tiger snakes and venomous spiders down here as well as local wildlife. Echidna’s, wombats and wallabies are everywhere. Can’t say about the weather because down here in Tassie, you can get 6 degrees one day and 45 the week after
The deadly animal thing really depends where you are. In the city, well yeah, you ain't gonna see many. In my backyard two summers ago though on the outskirts of Sydney there was a brown every other day sunning themselves or passing through. And the spiders were everywhere, but only little harmless babies, like the huntsman and golden Orb.
The weather question is probably the most misleading. A lot of capital cities don't experience the warm winters that Brisbane does. For anyone who's thinking of visiting Australia with the weather in mind.
Fav sandwich is vegemite , cheese and lettuce.... it’s awesome . The weather differs depending on where you are , hot and dry here as Brisbane I found more humidity . Snakes are mainly out in the bush , redback spiders yeah ok there in the back yard 😂
to answer most tourist questions on deadly spiders in australia.there is only one fatal spider bite you may endure and it is by the sydney funnel webb which is only and i repeat only found in the north western belt of sydney and some parts of the central coast of nsw.dont worry most australians never have or will see one.so i think most tourists will be fine
Actually there is a species of Funnel Web found in Toowoomba. Not as deadly but still venomous. And you forgot to mention Red Backs! In Qld, they are everywhere!!
Lived in turramurra on sydneys north shore we had a pool ,each summer we would pull quite a few out f the pool. Took them to Macquarie uni for the anti venom work being done there
you can make a broth with boiling water just add vegemite you can add in plain spaghetti butter and vegemite add cheese enjoy many uses add to stews and so on my sandwiches super fresh white bread hot bread is even better warm bread in microwave real butter only small amount of vegemite
My Grandsons attend a school in the Educational Precinct on the Sunshine Coast , Qld that has a resident mob of grey Kangaroos that roam through the grounds of all the schools (4 of them ) & the SC Uni
I have never heard of fosters before this video. Keep in mind I live in a rural farming town, so we just have Bundy's VBs and coronas I do reccon some of these videos should be filmed out in the country.
Vegemite, me I eat that bloody bastard out of the jar, put it in my spag bowl, savoury mince, curried snags and even is the main ingredient for vegemite chook.
In Australian cities . . . . the wild life is more in the pubs and clubs. If you use common sense with 'Australian' wildlife, like leave it be, it won't bother you. Yeah magpies but only in mating season. Out in the bush, even in outer suburban/country areas you might see Roos, Koalas, Kookaburras even Wombats. Along country highways in the outback there's a lot of roadkill but that's because out there it's hot during the day and cold at night but the road is bitumen so it holds the heat, creating condensation and therefore most of the highway edges are lined with 'sweet' grasses where the creatures feed, so hence . . . . roadkill. Just saying.

Of course the steriotypes are true just wish they would lay to rest the national past time of tailgaiting (suburbs and countryside). You can't drive anywhere without finding at least three cars up your jacksie. I know it's a big country and people get lonely out there but driving too close is fricking dangerous. Not sure what this is about. You literally have to pull over to get rid of them because even if you reduce to a crawl they wont over-take either.

There is , since the 1970s, an anti-venom for funnel web spider bites.
I've encountered them in Goulburn nsw.

Vegemite, me I eat that bloody bastard out of the jar, put it in my spag bowl, savoury mince, curried snags and even is the main ingredient for vegemite chook.
NZ: different accent, better rugby and better skiing. But Australia for everything else.

Is Foster's even around now? Haven't seen anyone drink it since the '80's!
People used to drink it?? Lol
@@KellboRose yeah true, it's probably a bit like non_americans think that every American had been to Disney land and eats hot dogs all the time
