the parents in the second story later down in life is going to be "why don't our daughter talk to us or visit us anymore and proceed to call her godless while posting it on Facebook about it"
That sounds completely illogical. There are a myriad of reasons a graduate may not be able to attend their ceremony. If they performed well as a student and met their GPA requirements requirements, it shouldn't affect anything.
Story 1: OP definitely needs to file a police report, press charges, and file the insurance claim. Also consider filing a lawsuit against her stepfather for contributory negligence and report the cop uncle to internal affairs. Glad that the mom saw the step sister for what she is and is divorcing, my god it took her getting attacked to figure it out. Story 2: No. Just because OP is technically an adult, doesn’t mean they can throw her out on the streets like that. OP should not have surrendered her phone and laptop, and should have gone to her graduation, and then forced her way back into the house. They can call the police, but because OP is a resident there the cops will wash their hands of the situation, and say “Just get a court order and the whole thing can be straightened out in one to six months!” (My friend went through a similar situation with her parents, and was able to still stay to buy time).
need to go to internal affairs and the attorney general's office see about getting uncle charged with hindering prosecution or something if he's made all her previous legal woes go away
Imagine thinking you're all higher and mightier that everyone else just because you go to church while blackmailing your own flesh and blood for basic necessities
I simply do not understand parents who coddle their children. If my parents had gotten me a car and I wrecked it, there would not be another, and another car. It would be mass transportation and nothing else.
The whole thing with the parents in the second story is crazy. What the hell is the third story? If someone being SA'd by their own partners, they should've report it to the police no matter what. He is a manipulative, abusive jerk. Her being in that type of relationship is toxic as hell.
Your parents are hypocrites. DO I SAY!... Not as I do.. The worst Christians are the ones who say OBEY ME.. not realizing only GOD or CHRIST can do that.

2nd story, the op should check with the school they actually graduated, as for some schools, if you do not walk across the podium, you do not graduate

I almost didn’t graduate because I didn’t walk the stage.. I was in the hospital 🥲
The stepsister disregarded OP's wishes, took their car, drove it into a wall, and she's not at fault?
Bullcrap.

S2: don't ever talk to those parents again, their use of threats to get their own way is pretty garbage for parents.

Paula should not be driving, period.
In the second story, the parents found an older man to marry her off to. This is sick.
WTF, imma need that full update chief.

W you should listen to your parents still but in this case I agree
If I get here early, I can listen to the countdown tunes. It's soooo calming.
Last story is pathetic
