    Shane! This is 8 years too late but fight tips is GOATED. Your teaching helped me deal with A bad man that use to punk me and my mom. That experience and your support started my athletic career in boxing. I learned a lot and wouldn’t change a thing. Your passion for martial arts is for real. Thank you Shane.

    You are the guy who taught me variations of hooks like the feodore overhand that comes down at 45 degrees, and so on, when I first started boxing years ago… Thanks for the info you provide, very helpful! And great video again. Head movement is nothing without good footwork

  • @KennethDuff-hj8ig
    @KennethDuff-hj8ig Месяц назад +5

    The 2nd drill reminds me of a fighter id film study because he was a good right handed fighter that uses angles often.
    Orlando Calizales . (I could have mis-spelled the last name)
    But I drilled something he did often which was circling to my right (righty vs righty) as I get my opponent to continue to move to there right with me, then I step to my left and throw my combo. I even would work on that on the heavy bag I circle right ,then step left and throw.
    As my opponent moves to there right and when I switch to moving to my left and throw ,I catch them as they make that switch to moving left at that very razor thin opportunity when my opponent is squared and open when I throw my combo. It takes timing and practice but it's been effective for me.

    ❤This is very lucid and articulate, 🙏 Thanks!!
    -I have had more than one Kung Fu teacher try and explain what they were doing in this sort of thing and had us walk in circles, both sideways and backwards and the teacher could change direction without effort, but this is an excellent example of it.

    My whole game relied on movements, making angles and trying to create collisions through the dominant angles u mentioned. This works wonders, but id like a video with the best tactics against the fence(or against the ropes too, although it's easier to defend agsinst the ropes due to slack), since the fence has no slack and u cant lean back. What's ur best strategy for staying safe when ur stuck there?

    Can you start with MMA private lessons? I know the basics of boxing, Muay Thai, kickboxing, and jiu jitsu. Or should I try to master one by one then mix my martial arts?
    I’m doing MMA for fun, not because I ever want to compete.
