Damn, the placement of the sticks above the other controls had me really hoping it's be good. I wonder how simple it could be to make some custom buttons for the L&R triggers so they are a bit better, and also swap the D-pad. sure it's def not for everyone but being able to possibly mod this even closer to being perfect (at least ergonomically) would be cool.
I was never interested in that device but at this point anything different than Anbernic is welcomed. Its also great to watch Honest reviews not focusing on the good qualities only. Thank you
I've got one for selling. I think it has good potential (maybe it's going to be wasted) but 2GB or RAM vs 1GB in the Powkiddy RGB10MAX3 sound more appealing to me. Also the Android side of the console is more promising, you might even play Xbox or Steam games on it. But I agree there are serious downsides on this device, but it doesn't feel far away from the Powkiddy at all. The black unit is just gorgeous and the LED don't look that bad (you want to turn them off after a while but not annoying, just inconvenient some times)
I like this review, however I think this Handheld has a lot of potential to be a decent if not a good option for Portmaster and Retro Gaming. GameMT just needs some love. I remember when Anbernic was in GameMT's position. I'm going to be the one who's brave enough to give both GameMT and Powkiddy the feedback they need. I'm going to open up my E6 Plus.😊
in my opinion the trim blows this out of the water. You can usually find it anywhere from $55 to $65 on alli.. I'd even argue at that price it's a top 2 best option at and under $80
I bought one but it crashed I went through bootloop I got a replacement for it and its replacement did the exact same thing going through a bootloop not running and the word run for short periods of time and then freeze and then and then would go into a bootloop it's not worth anything
While I do compare to the Odin 2 mini and the Pocket Air, the most important comparisons are to the Powkiddy RGB10 Max 3 and the TrimUI smart pro which for under or around the same price as the e6+ are much better handhelds.
Incredibly fair review, this handheld needs to bake more.
Fair and valid points made throughout, great job man!

Sounds like a job for a 3D Printer?

The color scheme of the handheld reminds me of the Eva Unit 1

If we get Rocknix and a good Android OS like Gamma OS on this Handheld we'll be gaming like kings!
What about the ram??? You didn't mention it, that's an important thing to include in the specs

Anbernic first market release was the rg350 and it was a GREAT device from day one. Now Anbernic sucks but in the first years was the one to buy.
It’ll never stop believing. ❤

How would you compare this to the Powkiddy X55?
Poooooowkiddy anyday❤😂
I just witnessed a murder
Looks like it has a touchscreen, does the touchscreen work on Linux for DS games?

Oof that sounds terrible.
You compared a cheap under $100 device to premium $300-500 devices.. Wow.. of course you’ll find a lot to complain about 🤭🤭

@@TeamRetrogue that’s the better comparison.
With that dpad?...... Hard pass
In all honesty it can probably be fixed. I'm about to open up my E6 Plus.
horrific controls
Man this thing looks and seems like a poop sandwich
