You don't need to remove the intake manifold. Sure, it's easier but you can do it from underneath the intake manifold as well. Saves time and the risk to damage something else is more less.
Good intention in explaining how to make an evry mod, too bad that the explanation of how to do it is wrong and important parts of the process are missing. The video shows the switch connected with a Blue cable that is not connected to anything else or to the potentiometer itself, only connected to the pump plug. It will never work as you explain it.

I drive an e39 525tds automatic and tried the evrymod, yes it smokes a littlebit, but i can‘t accelerate.. when i accelerate my engine shakes and the car won‘t Go forward faster than in normal Mode.. there is a purple and black wire on the controller according to another video. everything connected correctly according to the plan, but the engine stutters when the evrymod is turned on. do you maybe know why oh yes, the engine control unit is still a control unit for the gearbox. can you help me?

I've done the exact thing on your video but it doesn't do anything. When connect ground to switch then I switch it on car turns off any ideas on what I'm doing wrong

im planning on doing the same on my 320d but the contact doesnt have a cable in number 3, will it work i i insert a cable in to the hole because there is a pin on the fuel pump itself.
but it wont work because this pump control fuel quantity internally by its own ecu not by motor ecu via cable but this mod will work on e36 e39 e38 2,5 tds engines
I think I got what is this dude just make, it gave a false temperature signal to the pump telling that the car it is cold and need a richer mixture to heat up, but doing that increase power because you are sending more fuel?
U have evrymod on this but your egr is not blocked... thats really smart all your exhaust gas is going in the intake manifold... 👌🏻
Had The Egr blocked from the exhaustside as I don't need that heat at the intakeside.🤷♂️

the manifold is very very easy to remove on these cars; less than 2 minutes
At how much ohm do you put the potentiometer what resistance does it need or how do you tune it?

None of the cables should go to ground. Think of it as you bridge cable 2 and 3, but with The pot and switch connected to it in series.

Oliver Westlund it wont work on 320d e46 since it uses common rail for injecting fuel.
normal 320 d it s not 325 tds motor ,it s not same ,think

more fuel makes more exhaust gasses which would spin the turbo faster and lower in the rpms
