Tryna break the family cycle of alcoholism shits just been so hard without my grandma she was my everything. Now I use alcohol to numb myself sometimes I look at myself and I don't know who I'm looking at
WOW.. Honestly brought me old and very difficult memories, my was a meth and crank addict, she was in and out of jail and prison. She did 4 years and 8 months when I was a teen. She put me in foster home. I was 11 when she went to prison and she got out when I was like 17 having my first child. and here I'm 30 now a felon and addicted to meth and she is addicted to pills. I don't blame her completely but I feel like she was part of the cause of me and all my life mistakes and doings my entire life, gangs and selling drugs, guns, started drinking at 12. It hasn't been a easy for me, but I can say I dont regret anything because it has made me who I am today, a loyal, loving, caring, thoughtful, trustworthy, great father, hard working, kind, respectful person.

You are a big influence and motivational person to keep going and do better, even if we do fall back in bad and dangerous addictions and situations. But sometimes it's all we know and have, when we feel alone and depressed within ourselves and our pasts.
