What are you talking about!! That 2 tiered tray turned out gorgeous!! It reminds me of the old door we found in my grandfather well house....he had built a cement block house around the well he dug and it had a door. The door was solid and painted many times but the top coat was a thick white. The white top coat is crackling and showing previous colors underneath, it's gorgeous! We pulled it out sanded it and have installed it in my grandfather's house that he built, which we now own and are restoring. So NO!!! It was not a fail!! It looks authentic! That sounds gorgeous.. I use to always want an old house to refurbish everything in it... Me and my husband both always wanted one we are both very handy well I make him handy 😅. We just redid what we owned and tried to make it look older I did a lot of the interior on my own I know many faux treatments I taught myself through practice I marbled the panels of door's with different shades of gold then outlined them in gold did the older beadbord wall treatments on the bottom of wall's etc.. Thank you so much for sharing.. I even bought columns and did them like my door's they were only a 1/3 length I put them at the top of a half round 2 step staircase I had made an the step's were painted gold. ❤🌹 I'm on his account 40 yr marriage.

I can’t pick a favorite, but I’m really liking the Autumn wreath/sign. I like the two tiered tray also. I made one that I wanted more distance between the trays and I used a flower vase. It had very straight, smooth sides and very flat on top and bottom...nothing too ornate. It has handled the weight of what is on the top tray very well. You decorated yours beautifully! It seems that crackle finish is definitely back. I hope that your week brings you health and inspiration! Take care...😊👍🏻🍁🍂

The pizza pan is my favorite. Good thing I bought 5 at my last Dollar Tree trip.
I use regular school glue to do the crackle affect. It works just as well as the medium. The thicker the glue, the bigger the crackle and using a thinner layer will give you smaller crackles that are closer together.😊

I love your DIY‘s!!! The crackle two tiered tray is fabulous! I’ve always wanted to work with a crackle medium, now that I’ve seen how well it works I’m gonna try it myself!!! TY🍂🍁🍂
They tell me Elmers glue works the same. Add a bit if water for smaller cracks. Use full strength larger cracks

LOVE all of these! As a note... if you use a heat gun or hair dryer on those sticky tags it loosens the glue and they peel right off and leave very little residue.
