Epiphone 335 in drop D tuning

Having some fun with my Boss Katana 50W amp.
String tuning is DADGAD.
I am really riding the delay here to make it feel that I’m play multiple instruments. The high E being detuned really adds texture to play I’m playing.
The epiphone is a modded 335, will custom PAF (ish) pickups and a bone nut which I added.
String gauge is 12-54 NYXLs. This is a heavy gauge in normal tuning and not for everyone. I personally prefer a heavier gauge on my 335 but a lighter gauge on my Stratocaster.
