Georgia's Mountain Treasures are 40 unprotected wildlands in the Chattahoochee-Oconee National Forests. Our goal with this project is to provide the public with a tool to speak for greater protection of these special places. Rabun County is one of 19 Counties in Georgia with Mountain Treasure areas.

Emery Creek to bald mountain has a elevation gradient simliar to Rabun Bald's.
