We have a Big Lots but unfortunately I think they get their stock from all the good Big Lots in the form of anything that doesn't sell. We never get the good stuff that I see so many others get at their Big Lots. Everything is opened, broken, ripped or just worthless.
Aww that sucks. Ours isn't even that big of a store. But they always have different stuff, I don't get there very often though. Last time, last year they had allulose but not this time.
Yes because it's the only natural sweetener that acts similar in baked goods and is low on the glysemic index. I'm interest in seeing what I can do with the brown allulose monkfruit blend. But it will probably burn faster and make baked goods too soft and mushy.
Check the expiration dates! I work night stock at a grocery store and on Friday threw out a whole shelf of Lankato confectioner's sugar. Expired at the end of May 2024 and now it's June. :o(
I'm pretty sure these are like regular sugar, they don't really expire. By law, at least in the US, they have to put a date of I believe no more than 2 years from the date of manufacture as an expiration date but many products don't expire for months or years past that date and some never really expire at all. Canned goods are good pretty much as long as the can isn't damaged or swollen, at the very least they're usually good for a few years past the expiration, a lot of frozen foods are good for 6 months to a year past the exp. date as long as they've remained frozen the whole time, sugar doesn't really expire unless it gets bugs in it or gets wet and molds and honey will be good for from now until forever because of it's antibacterial properties. They actually found honey in an ancient tomb during an excavation that was thousands of years old and it still tested safe to eat. And that's just a few examples, there's a lot of foods like that. Even something like eggs is typically good a few weeks past the expiration. Most of the time you can Google how long past the expiration date something is good and it will usually give you a pretty reliable answer.
@@amysnews6808 Yes, I understand. However, I work in a grocery store and we have to throw out expired product. If we can catch the items a few weeks ahead of that date, then the items can be marked down to hopefully sell. But I offered the expiration date as perhaps the reason they were on sale to begin with.
Maybe for some but not all. Some people have a sensitivity to it. Same with Russell Stovers sugar free candy that uses maltitol but those spike your blood sugar eventhough they are labeled sugar free.
Thanks! I got some at my local Big Lots today (Monday), but the 20% off sale ended. They didn't have the allulose blend, but it's still a good deal!
You're welcome!
He is adorable
Thanks!
Great deals and thanks for sharing ❣️
Yes I was excited! You're welcome!😊
Nice! mine only has the 8.29 oz for $4.99
Aww, mine has different stuff all the time. Last time they just had allulose.
@KetoUpgrade Well, I'm super happy for you on your bitchin find! A great deal was had, and you deserve it!

My stomach cannot take Erythritol. It seems that most non sugar sweeteners have Erythritol in them.

Thanks for the heads up but they are all labeled 2027 for expiration!
They used to be 3.99 they've actually gone up a lot
It was probably 3.99 for the 8oz bags, I remember seeing them. These are 1.7 pound bags for 9.99.
If you over do on these sweeteners, it can cause stomach pain and diarrhea.

Can, but not always, or everyone. I bake and have a sweet snack every day and have no issue
@@KetoUpgrade yup, that be me!🫤
