It’s because gacha club is easier to understand like you said! It’s newer which makes it harder . Lucky for me, who uses a big iPad screen, I’ve finally learned how to properly make my style and actually use it :3 I instead use the uh uh uh uh that eye to go full screen instead of going in studio, cuz studio is pretty annoying as you said.
Then why most of the gacha community still use gacha life like literally I mean it is very easy to make a video with it I guess it ain't easy and I know that
I thought it was very obvious. Gacha club is much more easier to use. Also, it is easier to tween because of the 'hide' section!! Even if making poses in gacha club isn't possible, we all could do it didn't we? Gacha life 2 is amazing but I use both and both are amazing creations made my luni!! ✨
I prefer Gacha Life 2 because of the ability to finally expand my character designs (I’m a IOS user), but I find I make less videos and them being shorter. For example, I was able to animate three minutes in Gacha Club, but got tired animating 30 seconds in Gacha Life 2. Plus I have to make my own poses, which could become an issue if I need a retake because I would need to remember all the positions in the rotation of the limbs.
u can actually save the poses by clicking the import button IN THE POSES SECTION then u click on an empty pose slot click on the import and eport button then import it theres also free to use poes on yt if u have difficulty in making them
"Everything has a good side and a bad side," so true. (Honestly, I still use all three for the idea of each being separate world by design and what is/isn't there. For example; club and life2 both are use to having adjustments and removing body parts, where it's alien to life1.)
The only reason I’m considering going back to Gacha club is because GL2 released almost 2 months ago but we don’t have static poses yet and it’s kinda inconvenient when I wanna make a video but I have to make every single pose by myself. Kind of a motivation killer lol
@@SillyM3lomaniac yeah I think so, the December 8th update is supposed to be for all the stuff like static poses ,backgrounds, and stuff You can look up "what happened to the November gl2 updates" and there'll be people telling you what to expect and when it'll come out

I think that Gacha Club and Gacha Life are still the most used apps because they are easier(?) that Gacha Life 2 and for the animation poses like walking or running :0

i agree. gacha life 2 is definitely the best one in terms of what we can do, but its still really hard and takes a lot to just make a screenshot. but we'll learn how to use it, sooner or later :)
I use gacha club and gacha life because they are kinda fun, and easier for me, and I'd like to wait till Gacha life 2 gets all the presets and emotes so I can see it all done, it kinda annoys me how it saved my pose on the regular emote because I know have a broken arm on my character 👍🏻 Nice video❤
I personally use gl2 for shorter memes, etc, while I use gc for my other vids. This is mainly because of the lack of backgrounds and objects, making longer vids harder to make, bcuz we need more of those
Yeah exactly. My problem is Gacha Club keeps deletes everything I do so it’s unusable for long projects for me as well. I just can’t make long projects atm which is frustrating
Also, You have to make a bunch of poses from scratch for Gacha life 2 but in Gacha club you already have the poses that comes along with it. I think Luni should have added all the Gacha club poses and all the customs slots to Gacha life 2 so making custom poses was a option not a requirement.
I suppose I'm beginning to manage playing this game. It's fun, mainly because of the wide variety of adjustments. But what I prefer more are the custom backgrounds (probably coming soon), and custom poses
Thanks Mika for making this video, it's really true, these are facts too. My principal problem is that my ocs in GL2 seem to be really distant from the ones in Gacha Club, I try to use the same technique/style but they somehow don't look that good like they do in GC... They seem weird as I see them with my eyes, I feel like there's something off..... I need to build up a new style for GL2 if one day I want to make videos with it... Damn, it will be really tricky...
It’s interesting how it only took me one day to get used to the entire layout so I never realized that people might’ve not played it because of the layout.
I honestly really wanna use Gacha Life 2, and i did for maybe a day or 2, but making characters was so much harder than it was in Gacha Club. Gacha Life 2 has lots of stuff you need to get used to and learn how to do, while Gacha Club, even though i feel like im still learning new things, is much more easier and simpler to use. In my personal opinion though, the thing that drove me away from Gacha Life 2, was the fact that they didnt have most of the important poses that Gacha Club has like sitting down and stuff, its nice that we can make our own poses but its really ahed and confusing so i wished that Luni had brought some stuff from Gacha Club over to Gacha Life 2.
I like the lesson at the end of the video! When people think of the gacha community they think if the bad side aka the 2020 side but as they say all communities have bad sides! Thank you mika!
I think another reason is that making videos with gl2 is harder, not everyone might have noticed the landscape mode, there aren't many backgrounds like in gc if i remember right, there aren't props yet and the usual poses aren't there so one should make every pose for moving etc and maybe not everyone knows how to do it right
I personally use GL2 on my tablet, but at first, it was hard to understand, but once you get used to it, its really fun! But i do have some GC mods also on the tablet, and i love them too!
Actually in Gacha Life 2 there is an option to import/export characters offline! There's a little box in the bottom right corner of the import/export section called "Offline Code." I wouldn't have my characters on my laptop if it wasn't there
Honestly everything you said here made so much sense. For me I use Gacha club because Gacha life 2 doesn’t have many background options and no items for studio mode.
Another thing well atleast for me is that all the static poses are in Gacha club and Gacha life [As well as animated poses with Gacha life] and most people don't want to use a code to get a simple walking cycle which is literally in the other app plus more backgrounds in the other Gacha apps
@@cr6148 Same, but good news is that luni said that any assets that were not added due to artists leaving will be redrawn by him and will be in gl2 eventually
I actually haven’t seen this, I’ve seen mostly Gacha life 2 content, but I do understand it. Started as a debate for the instagram community most definitely but then people got used to it. And now use it for editing, just by turning off all shading or using the no shading base. Of course I don’t know much about the RUclips community with Gacha as I don’t make many videos but I see the appeal in both.
I agree, plus it's the reason why I still use Gacha club untill now although I also mix GL2 in some vids and I'm slowly learning how to use it slowly so some vids of mine are pure gl2, but im still learning though 😅
I haven't really moved to gacha life 2 because the proportions of gl2 are so different from gc, and I haven't really figured how to make it look how I'd like. Also the way everything is so individually pieced makes things move out of place more than not Plus Gacha Club feels like home in a sense 😄
Also the eye adjustments mess me up a lot, it’s hard to change eye position and shape easily. I wish there was a feature where you could toggle having the highlights connect to the blink. Also I typically like to make stories and stuff and it’s all just harder
I like both, however I moved to gl2 because it's easier for me to make furry-like characters and has more customization, though gacha club is a lot easier in general, mainly videos if your one of the people who make them (I personally dont), and less confusing at first compared to gl2 which takes some getting used to, and some people have said poses are easier on gacha club which I can see. both have their pros and cons but that's all games, both are pretty good but as I said gl2 works a bit better for me personally
For me, the instant "nah" moment with GL2 was when I found no separate animal ears(( The only ones I saw were two ears as one accessory, which meant I could't move or adjust only one ear and their center of rotation also wouldn't be where I need it to be. For someone whose characters are mostly nekos (and who is also a bit of a perfectionist), this is an important detail that made me kinda upset, so I decided to stay in GC.
Im not sure if you know this but theres an ear section at the heads. The ears are seperate and are plenty. They usually go behind the head but at the custom pose page, theres a pose layer to put them on top. My explanation is confusing sorry.
main reason I find GC better (currently) is bcs of the poses! In GC there is EVERY type of pose but in GL2 you'll have to make poses such as sitting etc. But this thing will be resolved in the next update I think
I feel like it takes time maybe in a couple more months people will start I was so reluctant to do it now I’m loving more then Gacha life as well it’s hard finding ideas or designs to get used to but once u get there it’s actually quite satisfying
And also, gacha life 2 is not complete yet, I use it because I love how the characters look there and I have much more options to make the characters look like I want them to, for tweening I haven’t use it yet so I can’t say anything😂, I’d just love that had the usual gacha club and gacha life poses that we could custom too, not having to make every pose from scratch sounds good tbh
I love all of them but i mostly post gacha life cuz one we can't just leave gacha life/club like other gacha games cuz of gacha life 2😭 plus i just like how simple it is😭💞
Oo im a bit early❤❤ also. Great video mika!!! i totally understand to people who still uses gacha club while gl2 is alrdy out. People can use anything they like tbh!!
I like how this is the same as how people dealed when Gacha Club came out, so many people stayed in gacha life because of the difficulty they had handling gacha club. But I feel like overtime people will find how to use it and get comfortable with it, I guess we can just wait!
I think it’s also because the game isn’t finished yet. We still don’t have all of the studio and pose options. Such as certain backgrounds, props, static poses, animated poses, ect.
my main problem is the fact that for some reason on my computer the character is up the screen and its a pain to always make the thing smaller to see what im doing at every little change i make
0:33 So i have a fix for this one! Just go to the custom poses, select a blank one and then seperate all the parts Then, you can save that as a pose and click on the original pose you had, everything will go back! :D only issue is youll still have to seperate hair and accs manually 😭 but atleast it helps for the body! 0:51 the offline code feature still exists in gl2- you dont need a wifi connection to copy characters! Plus if you put your character in a backup slot, you can access it in the presets section, just click on the category name and switch to back up slots, now you can see yours ocs that are in your backup slots as a preset!
The same thing is happening that happened with gacha life and gacha club, previously at the beginning when gacha club came out we still used gacha life because it was easier, then a little more time passed and there are if many could finally know how to occupy it, having more things and functions is clearly difficult but with the passage of time we will all be occupying gacha life 2.
don’t get me wrong, gacha life 2 makes the characters a lot more visually pleasing to look at and the mechanics are so much better + has more variety compared to gacha club; but the issue i have is that the eyes, face, and sometimes the body looks weird no matter what i do. also the eyes somehow look hella emotionless even with highlights
I agree alot. I do love gachalife 2 but having to make the poses is harder for me and all the new clothing is alot. Whenever I make an outfit in GL2 it ends up bad in my eyes Im also just way used to GC then GL2.
Mika, I found how to copy your character FASTER in Gacha Life 2: 1. Make your oc 2. After that, choose blank character 3. Go to backup slot in preset 4. Find your oc and set to COPY ALL 5. Tap your oc 6. Now you have two same oc ❤ I hope it can help you.
For the separete parts to edit: export and import your oc twice, making the complete oc, it's body base and it's body base (separeted) So you don't have to put it all the way back in place!
Gacha life and gacha club are the best for making movies, that I can agree on. However gacha life 2 is better for making pretty character designs and poses because it has more options that you can use/do. You could use it for film making, but it would be harder to do than the other two… but it also might make the mini movie better due to how you handle it
I absolutely adore Gacha Life 2 and it makes designing my characters so much more fun but my two reasons for using Gacha club for my videos is 1, gl 2 doesn’t have any of the backgrounds I use for my videos or any props at all so if I were to use gl 2 I’d have to do a lot of editing that takes a bit of a long time and I just don’t want to do that for a 15 second video, and 2 I’ve been having this weird glitch where if I swap one character for another from the slots one character completely copies the other and I lose the other character and it completely kills my motivation when a character that took me 30 minutes to make is lost and becomes a clone of another character
I actually didnt know people weren't using gl2 that much. I personally have been playing around with the app for a while trying to figure out how controls worked and poses so i can make videos with my friends
I'm so glad I didn't download gacha life 2, still use gacha club since I'm still learning new tricks of skills to make my ocs look cooler also I love your videos they are awesome and helped me a lot of learning new tricks of making gacha ocs I hope you are having a good day and stay safe ut make sure to take breaks because your are a human being too for fluff sake
In my opinion, i think it's because it's easier and has more poses because in gl2, theres not many poses. Also you have to make them, if theres not a pose you like
There's also a glitch in GL2: Sometimes when you swap out a character, it'll delete it out of existence (duplicating the one you swapped out)- it has happend to me so many times 😭
I rely on Gacha Club for basic videos but im starting to transition towards Gacha life 2 now since I'm a Traditional animator so i do things frame by frame screenshot by screenshot, sure its tedious to put poses back together but its just so much simpler than needing to split an OC across 8 Slots and properly positioning them to get the poses i want T-T
As somebody who’s switched to making their Gacha series with Gl2, I must say I’m honestly very drained and demotivated, why’ll I can’t blame GL2 for all of the problems regarding that I can say I know things would’ve been out a lot quicker if I had kept using GC, while I’ve gotten used to it and it’s became less complicated for me to use, gotta be real it’s taken so long to make stuff 😂😂 Will say tho, the game itself is rlly good, it can just get draining lol
For me the issue is the UI and the fact that it's easier to use the portrait for in the home while in the studio you need to use Landscape for videos 😞
In gl2 you can actually import offline. Down the copy button there is import. It is the same as gacha club for online and offline export and import are found in different places
Well I agree, it is easier to use gacha club especially with the 'hide' option and I am already getting used to GL 2, it's just going to be annoying to separate each body part for a body sheet and I still having a few bugs when it comes to GL 2, hopefully that will be fixed soon I hope Well especially when my oc deletes on it own But in general I like both so I might still continue to use both gacha games in general :)
The most annoying thing is that in gc there is a studio button near the customization thats why in gl2 its not there like its annoying to exit customization then go to studi😅
Mika I have a big request, since a lot of us find gl2 hard to use and a lot of people prefer nox or gc and gl what if you can show us how to make pretty characters like gacha nox but in gl2, I hope this doesn't trouble you 😢❤
It’s because gacha club is easier to understand like you said! It’s newer which makes it harder .

I like how this is the same as how people dealed when Gacha Club came out, so many people stayed in gacha life because of the difficulty they had handling gacha club. But I feel like overtime people will find how to use it and get comfortable with it, I guess we can just wait!
I'm using Gacha Life 2, bro
Here to stop kids from saying first..
For me it’s the poses, I have to custom make every pose I want.
I can’t wait for the new update.
Gl2 is way harder ti make a good oc but its still amazing app to use !
For the one in gacha life 2 where you can’t import without wifi, there’s an offline import/export area
this is so true, for me gacha life 2 is hard to use but i still use it instead of other gacha games
I think it’s also because the game isn’t finished yet. We still don’t have all of the studio and pose options. Such as certain backgrounds, props, static poses, animated poses, ect.
Gladly I'm in GL2! BTW I love it when you wiggle your tail!
People might use GL2 more when the static and animated poses come out bc rn its really difficult to make anything bc u have to make it all
my main problem is the fact that for some reason on my computer the character is up the screen and its a pain to always make the thing smaller to see what im doing at every little change i make

So i have a fix for this one! Just go to the custom poses, select a blank one and then seperate all the parts
Then, you can save that as a pose and click on the original pose you had, everything will go back!
The same thing is happening that happened with gacha life and gacha club, previously at the beginning when gacha club came out we still used gacha life because it was easier, then a little more time passed and there are if many could finally know how to occupy it, having more things and functions is clearly difficult but with the passage of time we will all be occupying gacha life 2.
don’t get me wrong, gacha life 2 makes the characters a lot more visually pleasing to look at and the mechanics are so much better + has more variety compared to gacha club; but the issue i have is that the eyes, face, and sometimes the body looks weird no matter what i do. also the eyes somehow look hella emotionless even with highlights
idk i might just be doing something wrong
Girl i Luv your vids!
Ando you're oc's are sooo cute❤(sorry if bad English But im latin american)
I agree alot. I do love gachalife 2 but having to make the poses is harder for me and all the new clothing is alot. Whenever I make an outfit in GL2 it ends up bad in my eyes Im also just way used to GC then GL2.
Mika, I found how to copy your character FASTER in Gacha Life 2:
1. Make your oc
2. After that, choose blank character
3. Go to backup slot in preset
4. Find your oc and set to COPY ALL
5. Tap your oc
6. Now you have two same oc ❤
I hope it can help you.
For the separete parts to edit: export and import your oc twice, making the complete oc, it's body base and it's body base (separeted) So you don't have to put it all the way back in place!
When I separated the body parts I just loaded back the og pose to get them back to normal
YAY MIKA MADE NEW VIDEOOOOO the ocs are so cute hai mika 😆
I don't care if you dont say hi just really wanted to comment
My guess is that one of the reasons why it is because of the adjustments, and other shit. The UI is sometimes difficult to some people though
As somebody who’s switched to making their Gacha series with Gl2, I must say I’m honestly very drained and demotivated, why’ll I can’t blame GL2 for all of the problems regarding that I can say I know things would’ve been out a lot quicker if I had kept using GC, while I’ve gotten used to it and it’s became less complicated for me to use, gotta be real it’s taken so long to make stuff 😂😂
Will say tho, the game itself is rlly good, it can just get draining lol
Spot the differents all the gacha games are fantastic❤
Moreover, gacha life 2 lacks some options such as props. However I do like the option to adjsut skirts and belts, makes it fun to customize and style.
For me the issue is the UI and the fact that it's easier to use the portrait for in the home while in the studio you need to use Landscape for videos 😞
In gl2 you can actually import offline. Down the copy button there is import. It is the same as gacha club for online and offline export and import are found in different places
Well I agree, it is easier to use gacha club especially with the 'hide' option and I am already getting used to GL 2, it's just going to be annoying to separate each body part for a body sheet and I still having a few bugs when it comes to GL 2, hopefully that will be fixed soon I hope
Well especially when my oc deletes on it own
But in general I like both so I might still continue to use both gacha games in general :)
I think once we get static and animated poses, itll be more popular
Can you please do mahito from Jujutsu kaisen ❤
The most annoying thing is that in gc there is a studio button near the customization thats why in gl2 its not there like its annoying to exit customization then go to studi😅
Mika I have a big request, since a lot of us find gl2 hard to use and a lot of people prefer nox or gc and gl what if you can show us how to make pretty characters like gacha nox but in gl2,
I hope this doesn't trouble you 😢❤
