This was real. Damn real. That is a genuine look of disgust and rage on Bischoff’s face. Everything he said here was the truth. When they aired the segments where everyone had their say, all well and good and I thought AJ was going to actually kill him. I actually thought Devon went easy on him. I think Bully should’ve had a word with him, that would’ve been interesting. Bully knows Jeff better than almost everyone and would not have held back
The sad thing about it all is that this was one of very few times when Bischoff didn't say a single lie. Every single word he spoke to Jeff was right on the point.

JUGRIZZLE I wanna see another wrestling show have a similar setup like the old TNA stage setups the 6 side rings isn’t necessary but would be a fun bonus
@@alexisisanarieka4311 Honestly I think it would've looked better if they kept it during the transition to HD. The lower resolution didn't do that setup any favors.
Jeff Hardy is and forever will be my #1 favorite wrestler of all time, but Eric Bischoff is one of the greatest heels ever, and that Immortal stable was genius; way better than McMahon's Corporation in my opinion.
The best part is how many people (maybe not eric) but other wrestlers took the chance to crap on him but never once freaked out on them knowing they were for sure high.
There is a difference: Jeff Hardy showed up to the main event of the biggest PPV of the year after a 27½ hour drinking binge, and having taken Vicodin for a shoulder injury along with two hits of opium (raw heroin). End result - he came out to the ring totally intoxicated and under the influence of narcotics, and Sting kicked his butt in 88 seconds.
@@MRB16th That's right. People are calling them hypocrites but only one person was allowing their drug use/abuse to ruin main events, PPVs and the entire company's image.
Wasnt until Ted Turner fired Bischoff and promoted Vince Russo that WcW took its big nosedive. They were actually holding their own in the ratings wars until then
He was addicted to opioid pain medication. After 10+ years of swan diving off of 20 plus foot drops, some pain was to be expected. I’ll be surprised if he lives longer than Curt Hennig at the rate he went.
Didn't Jeff Hardy leave to go to rehab and that's why he left? I thought they turned his terrible performance in to a story line telling Jeff Hardy to leave but actually leaving to go to rehab.
Alexander Colon Nah, he left because of Victory Road 2011. He turned up wasted as hell, so Sting had to shoot pin him and he got put out until he got clean. They just did this angle to repair damage and turn it into something positive.
Man, TNA reallllllly needs to find a way to put a mic on Eric Bischoff. Say what you will about him, dude knows how to draw heat and get the crowd stirred up.
Jeff is probably the biggest legends in the industry he truly is part of my childhood always loved him and knowing he is better now and finally in a good place is amazing knowledge.. We have seen hardy at his worst and he still has the fan base he had years ago.. We love you Jeff

@jcgadfly good point..let's also not forget that Eric is the guy who decided to keep Scott Hall, nothing against Hall i know he has issues right now, but Scott when he was in WCW was almost completely tanked or high every time he showed up to work and Eric never took administrative action with him. So this whole thing with Eric say Jeff is out of chances along with Kurt acting like he's above Jeff is just hypocritical in every since of the word

So i took a break from wrestling due to personal reasons, but can someone explain this? Cause last time I heard about immortal wasn't Eric all for Jeff Hardy and wasn't Kurt on the opposite side that one time there was a rivalry with immortal and another group.
As horrible as it sounds, Jeffrey Nero Hardy (as his parents named him) bought that on himself - to be fair, he has even admitted this. Consider that Jeff appeared at the main event of Victory Road - the biggest PPV of the year - after drinking for 27½ hours straight, and having also taken Vicodin for a pre-existing shoulder injury, as well as two hits of opium (i.e. raw heroin). The rest is history.
@ripTheRevPaulGray The minute Hogan threw down his customized belt, that's when Hardy is no longer in Immortals. Now, we're going to see Hardy helping to fight the Immortals.
I was never keen about wrestling using storylines involving wrestlers' personal demons--e.g. In 1996, the WWE used storylines involving Jake "The Snake" Roberts' drinking and drug problems; Jake would soon have a relapse. I know that Jeff was going through addiction problems at the time and understandably, Eric Bischoff had to be the authority. Yes, I know that this was "rehearsed" but I felt that the "you can twelve step your way out of here" was out of line. Unfortunately people still believe that addiction is a concious choice and not a real illness. I'm not saying that I condone nor condemn Jeff for his addiction relapses because he has admitted post this video that he does have real problems; additionally this past July he was charged for "drunken behavior" or something. One thing that Ive noticed in Jeff in this video and any time he admits to relapsing---Jeff looks truly very sad. Even if he was acting in this storyline, to me his eyes weren't lying.

Eric did the right thing to turn this real-life issue into a storyline. Fans at the time didn't know what was really going on
Completely agree. It would’ve let a bigger stain in the company if they fired Jeff for his actions and leave it like that.
