Hey! I just want people to know that sometimes we don’t reach our career goals and family goals in our 30s. Sometimes it comes later. Don’t be discouraged. Keep on.
True!! I’m in my early 30’s and I took some detour in life. I got In trouble and was not living my best. I took control and in the last couple of years I have built my life. Im proud of how much I’ve overcome and where I am now. Keep it up! See your goals and keep going!!
I have oily skin and man, it's the single most important factor for my anti aging. I'm 49 and barely have a line on my face. Now, I also did not go in the sun when I was young and I still don't. I started skin care young and led a healthy lifestyle. Preventative early will definitely help later. And having oily skin keeps you dewy!

I have a feeling like Botox actually makes look older. Maybe wrinkles are little less but they look older anyway. Age isn’t about wrinkles. I’m a professional sportswoman and many people give me 25 years old. And I know women who are professional sportswomen and at 50 they look like 36. Looking at these videos I think that I won’t even think about any Botox and stuff before at least 45 years old.

I think the trick with Botox is to really look at your face and see where you are noticing wrinkles forming from repeated movement and then ONLY get Botox there. I hit like 35 and was like, "whoa, hold on there buddy.. what TF happened?" Skin care every night has drastically improved the way my skin looks. I'm happier with my skin at 37 than I have ever been in my life. I do Curology with 1.4% tretinoin. Plus a bunch of hydrators and occlusives
My holy grail of exfoliants is the P50W by biologique recherche. The normal version has glycolic in it but the W is softer and mixes lactic, malic for AHAs and gluconolactone as PHA and it is just WONDERFUL.
I turned 30 June 2020 so I'm turning 31 this June and thankfully haven't noticed any aging yet. I still deal with acne on cheeks and forehead and slightly oily skin but I have noticed my skin a bit drier than when I was in early 20's. Thankfully I've worn sunscreen since around 22 or 23 and been using differin gel since 27 so those might be helping a bit too.
I’m in my early 30s and let me tell you, again gracefully doesn’t just apply to your skin, it applies to your insides to. If you really want to age gradually make sure you’re putting the right things in your body too (speaking from experience)
I'm going to be 30 this July and so glad you uploaded this video! Everything you said, I'm experiencing it! From the hollow, fine lines under my eyes and the dryness, omg, my skin is naturally dry and now it got worse!
Working with my dermatologist for hormonal acne and "aging gracefully" as I like to say. Adopoline was not covered and was $100s + to buy. We tried Tretinoin and it was! The lowest 0.025% was $10, the medium 0.05% was $45, and working up to the higher. Always check and if you have the time you can contact insurance and the drug companies as they might be willing to adjust. I also love the Tretinoin for the studies that have seen the reversal of damage, with my fair skin and precious burns I'm always nervous
Thank you for this video, Susan! I just turned 30 in January and I am definitely paying a lot more attention to my skin and the changes that are happening. Your videos are so helpful ❤
Please make a tinted mineral sunscreen that is waterproof for Naturium! We would be forever grateful. Thanks for all the knowledge you share and the great products you’ve put out!
On top of me being 33, I just went through radiation and chemo, and it throwing me into menopause has changed my skin even more than it already was changing.
Could you please go into more detail of your AM and PM routine? Not only what products you use but show us how you use that routine through the week, In other words your skincare “schedule” I’d love to see the order you apply things on your skin and when you use specific products on what days of the week and how many times Ex: Mondays and Wednesday- exfoliate Saturday- prescription retinoid I need a guideline on a “schedule” to follow and I know yours skin needs are different from mine but just something to go off of would be nice!!!!♥️♥️
Yep I didn't really get a lot of acne as a teen and then when I turned 29 I started getting seasonal acne and the more I got into skincare in my 30's the better my skin has been. Try some AHA acids and retinol serum (not together though) for your face and see how that works out for you!

Good luck!!
Wow! Thank you for all the free information you're sharing to us Susan. I am turning 26 this month, I started my Korean skin care routine when I was 23. Hopefully it will give me a good start to aging gracefully. I am hopeful that my asian genes has my back as I age
My takeaway from the Purito gate and other similiar reveals (that sunscreens often don't offer the protection they claim) and from the fact that I am definitely NOT going to reapply sunscreen multiple times per day is that we need to bring sun hats back into fashion. Who's with me? I already wear my hat around the garden and for walks but I would love to see this as an everyday staple.
Can you talk about things we can do for our hands? Should we just put these products on our hands too? Lol I'm 27 and want to get started w anti aging and I've seen ppl in their early 30s already look older just in their hands and I want to prevent that too.
i agree! i’ve started using a retinoid on my hands at night, then a sunscreen in the morning.. but i don’t know if its even useful because i wash my hands so much. hands can really tell your age, i’d love to know what susan thinks about this too!
I'm 24 (I turn 25 this year) and recently I have noticed my under eye lines are more visible than ever! i'm concered because I've started using retinol eye cream from inkey list couple months ago and now my under eye area looks even worse😭😭

Hi from Portugal. I am turning 50 this year, and here i am :). My skin is pretty nice never done a procedure, but love taking care of my skin, mad about sunscreen. Ready for a new decade ;) . All the best
Do you have any specific product from Naturium you recommend for anti aging (for a woman in her 50’s) ? And is there a specific moisturizer that could also help with that concern? Thanks! ❤️❤️❤️
Thanks for sharing. I just turned 26. And I don't notice these issues YET but I think I will I'm my thirties. I have dewy, hydrated and naturally glowing skin but I think I will definitely be using more products and more key ingredients to maintain that! Really focusing on retinoids and sunscreen now!
I turn 33 this year and I'm absolutely seeing the signs of aging. I don't see too many fine lines but I'm seeing frown lines around my mouth. My mouth just looks down turned more than it used to and i feel it's aging me. I'm also seeing my neck age. I always use a vitamin a but i can't use it on my neck and i can definitely see it. Any suggestions for a super mild retinol for the neck? X
When is best to up the dosage of retinol use. I have been using the Cerave resurfacing retinol for over a month and I feel I need a higher concentration to see results. Please let me know your thoughts.
I just turned 45, (I looked like 18 lol) never use skincare products before. Love watching your video today. My big sister is a dermatologist, but she never gave me anything for my skin until now, that I turned 45. I have had suffer acne since I was 12. I recently ordered Korean and Japanese products like masks. I think I'm skeptical about going to do facial (too expensive). Thank you for skincare information know- how. 🤗🥰
WEAR SUNSCREEN! Buy a moisturizer with like 30 SPF or something you’ll actually use because if you don’t, people will stop complimenting you for looking so young “for your age” and that will make you sad so JUST DO IT!
LOVE the Krave Beauty sunscreen. I have dry skin so I enjoy the moisturizing boost and dewy glow it provides. I specifically use it as my second application around lunch time over top my Dermatology sunscreen. I have experienced no pilling.
$100?? I get my tretinoin 0.1% at CVS for like around $40, with no insurance. Maybe other formulations cost more or it's an LA thing? For me, it completely changed my acne and I will probably use it forever. There's also an app that helps you save some money on RX.
I have been interested in trying Kate Somerville products as you have been talking about them for ages. I would have considered investing in some of them but I can't justify fragrance, such as grapefruit peel oil, in a 30ml cream costing over £100. If the product is going to be expensive, at least make it non irritating.

Hi Susan! In my twenties I was chubby and had acne. I was no beauty by any means. I realised at that point in time that my attractiveness would lie in my ability to slow down aging, so I regularly used sunscreen and paid attention to my skin. My strategy has reaped dividends because what I lack in attractive features, I compensate with skin with minimal lines, slackness and scars.
I got acne in my early 30s lol never really had it before then. Didn't know much about skincare except wash face and put lotion on with the occasional mask. So I changed my diet and luckily it helped a lot but learning about skincare is interesting and I enjoy it. I’m in my early 30s and let me tell you, again gracefully doesn’t just apply to your skin, it applies to your insides to. If you really want to age gradually make sure you’re putting the right things in your body too (speaking from experience)
Turning 30 in August-thanks for this video!
When you said 25, I was like “oh thank god I started this 3 years ago when I was 25” lol
Please do one for the 40’s! I don’t look 40 but I still need to treat my skin like a 40 year old.
I'm turning 30 in two weeks. I'm glad I'm doing good with skincare. Thanks to your tips and of course your brand😍
Please make a tinted mineral sunscreen that is waterproof for Naturium! We would be forever grateful. Thanks for all the knowledge you share and the great products you’ve put out!
I always love these types of videos!!!! I have learnt sooo much about skincare since discovering this channel a couple years ago!!!
33 and feeling free! Living for this vid 💕
On top of me being 33, I just went through radiation and chemo, and it throwing me into menopause has changed my skin even more than it already was changing.
But where is this cardigan from? 😍
Could you please go into more detail of your AM and PM routine? Not only what products you use but show us how you use that routine through the week, In other words your skincare “schedule”
I’d love to see the order you apply things on your skin and when you use specific products on what days of the week and how many times
Ex: Mondays and Wednesday- exfoliate
Saturday- prescription retinoid
I need a guideline on a “schedule” to follow and I know yours skin needs are different from mine but just something to go off of would be nice!!!!♥️♥️
That's a cool video idea. Would love to see this as well
I turned thirty and I got a whole bunch of acne. Never had it before. Now I look like I'm a teenager
Yep I didn't really get a lot of acne as a teen and then when I turned 29 I started getting seasonal acne and the more I got into skincare in my 30's the better my skin has been. Try some AHA acids and retinol serum (not together though) for your face and see how that works out for you!
@@annalouiseplease I use Retinol every night for years and an aha once or twice a week. Just need to figure it out and change something up.
Thank you for the suggestion though
@@elizabeth1234.. - Aw man. I’m sorry. My sister also only started breaking out in her twenties, and the doctor she visited put her on adapalene. Seems to have helped. I hope you figure it out.
When I started to go through menopause I had an occasional breakout. Never had any in my teens.
@@elizabeth1234.. You're on the right track for sure. I would suggest getting a tret prescription then. Thinking about venturing down that route as well even though I've seen improvements of the last few years thanks to delving into skincare, but during the summer it still can get really out of control. Good luck!!
I feel this! I've been wearing a hat outside a lot this past year.
Girl!!!! You just explained my life as soon as I turned 30
I'm 29. Been pretty good with my skincare but ready to really Amp it up!
I just turned 30 and I'm happy to know I've been using most of these ingredients since I started following Susan over a year ago
I just got botox for the first time yesterday I got sick after doing it but I think it's worth it already and it hasn't even fully set in. I just ordered ur naturium eye cream looking forward to trying some of ur products I want to try the tranx serum and a few more things.
Thanks! ❤️❤️❤️
Our retinol cream or serum, and our Plant Rich Ceramide Moisturize Cream
@@SusanYara thank you so much!!! 😍❤️
Finally! Someone my age that gets it and understand our concerns. Thank you for all the good information
Would love to see an updated video of this for products to use!👍
Thanks for sharing. I just turned 26. And I don't notice these issues YET but I think I will I'm my thirties. I have dewy, hydrated and naturally glowing skin but I think I will definitely be using more products and more key ingredients to maintain that! Really focusing on retinoids and sunscreen now!
Wow this faded product has so many good ingredients and will soon be at Sephora Canada!
Could listen to you for hours. Great video!
Thank you for this Susan! I’m 31 and can always use a good informational video for my skin. 😊🙏🏽💕
So true about turning 30....skin can change so much
I just want to say that your skin looks amazing!!!
WEAR SUNSCREEN! Buy a moisturizer with like 30 SPF or something you’ll actually use because if you don’t, people will stop complimenting you for looking so young “for your age” and that will make you sad so JUST DO IT!
I’ve always loved your videos! Very informative... plz do one for those of us in our 50s ... I love skincare 😊
Hi. Great video! Could you do a video on what you use for care of your beautiful hands? Thanks in advance!
What nail polish are you wearing? It is so beautiful !!
Hi! It's the "Wild Orchid" shade from this Olive & June set: bit.ly/3t88jf0
LOVE the Krave Beauty sunscreen. I have dry skin so I enjoy the moisturizing boost and dewy glow it provides. I specifically use it as my second application around lunch time over top my Dermatology sunscreen. I have experienced no pilling.
What do you think of fake tanning creams? Are they OK for your skin? Are there any types that you would particularly recommend?
Omg..this is exactly what i needed. Thank you ma' 👑 ❤
My skin "flourished", when I became 30! I started using "eye creams" back then, and today, I'm 56, and not a single "wrinkle" next to my eyes! Thanks to these eye creams!
I was big in Europe when I was 30!
I just turned 34 and began to see slight signs of aging. Really wish I knew about SPF in my 20's and started retinol earlier, maybe as young as 21 tbh. I do embrace the aging process and embracing my fabulousness as I age. What is a mineral powder SPF you would recommend?
I really think u shld consider using a sunscreen for reapplication ..no matter what u do an SPF powder is just not hat effective .. because you don't get the required amount and u don't get an even application ..
@@Valeriaa6240 In my 20's I use to use an SPF powder from bareMinerals but they reformulated since and I had to return the one I recently purchased. Sigh. I would like to try and find an SPF to use for reapplication on top of make-up. Most days I am make-up free and just use my regular SPF.

I wish we had skincare gurus on RUclips years ago. Thank God I started young and kept a good skincare routine - added Naturium, of course, to give it a boost. 30 hits for me as of next Wednesday. I try to help my friends get ahead of the game but they don't listen - even though I look the youngest out of everyone. 😂🤦♀️ I do want to try that exfolikate but I always want to try yours too lol
"Everything is falling down" LOL
Whattt your profile pic is so pretty you have good features don't be mean to yourself
I got acne in my early 30s lol never really had it before then. Didn't know much about skincare except wash face and put lotion on with the occasional mask. So I changed my diet and luckily it helped a lot but learning about skincare is interesting and I enjoy it. I too didn't get botox until 30 lol but luckily my skin has stayed combination and has not increased in dryness. Thanks for the tips!
When is your brand Naturium coming to the UK? Would love to try the products 👍🏻
Super informative video. Thank you, Susan!!
Perfect timing again MM! Looking to restock and change up a few items, and I'm in my 30's and really just starting to put time and effort into my skin!! :) Thanks again! xxo
I’m 38 thx same here , after 30 🤦♀️ I’m so happy at my age too , so wise and awake but I need some skin help. I never have had any Botox or filler yet , I might not so I’m doing topicals and Spf . Retinol and vit c . And lots of water , healthy foods ....working out is good too !
Thoughts on medical grade skincare? Skinmedica/ skin better/ zo?
What does melatonin do for the skin?? (mentioned in the 'Faded' brightening product for example)
I’ve been using a cerave over the counter retinol and I love it. I have sensitive skin so scared to do retinoids. Is that ok?
Please do a skincare collaboration video with James welsh,Gothamista,Cassandra bankson & Beauty within
Please do a nail & lipcare video & also a bridal skincare routine
Please include routine finder for easy purchase of products in ur brand please
Whoa! I’m no longer in my 30s, but I don’t recall being able to afford those Kate Somerville prices in my 30s! 😱😱😱
Theyre pretty outrageous for no good reason and have irritating ingredients 🤷🏼♂️🤷🏼♂️🤷🏼♂️ what a shame she’s promoting it
What would you recommend in place of retinoids with someone who is breastfeeding/pregnant, as these are not safe during that time- I have been either pregnant or breastfeeding with small breaks in between, and am currently breastfeeding- I don’t want to miss out on quality prevention of signs of aging just because of that… what would you recommend that would work similarly but that is safe?
Thanks for the recommendation Susan. It seems we are the same age
Krave Beauty just pulled their Beet Shield indefinitely, right now all korean sunscreens are sketchy
This is wonderful! I just wish that some of these were available in Canada ☹️!
Yes, my skin is much dryer the past couple of years, I'm 34.
@mixed Makeup.. wat are your views on Lancome’s Absolue soft cream for anti aging ? Do review that please
I don't know why, but every vid I have watched where you 'I will be 40 this year' it always makes me smile. Like it is inevitable and you accepting it, I love it. I am 30 and I was literally as you say it 'wrecking my skin' and I was so down about my looks and things I've done (or not) for my skin. But I am learning now and your attitude helps me be more positive. Thank you. :)
Can you note which of these products that are safe for pregnancy and breastfeeding?
SUSAN!!! You got my all excited because I saw your thumb tag with Krave Beauty’s Beet Shield and I was like, she should know something I don’t and that means they’re back in stock!!! But no 😔 ugh any idea when they will be back in stock again? Love you though 💕 it’s still a wonderful video!
