I just realized, this is an autobiography.
I always thought of Tom as that goofy guy who makes fun of boy bands and musicians of his time, little did I expect that he would write something so thoughtful and deep as this children's story

I came here looking for the "lonely astronauts playlist" from the Lifeline series, and strangely enough in lifeline the main character is feeling lonely in space on Christmas Eve
That first astronaut sound effect is definitely the marine from DOOM when he gets hurt.
