Hey great video ! I’m in the market for a new fm transmitter for my 2005 Toyota Camry. I love the carpodgo but it is over 300$ in Canada . What would you say is a comparable or the unit you’d absolutely recommend for under 200?

Both the Carpuride W903 and CarpodGo T3 Pro are very similar in specs - there's not much between them at all - though the w903 does have the addition of the built-in dash cam which might be a bonus for some :)
The screen is gloss but I haven't found reflections on screens like these to be an issue at all - they're always bright enough to see the screen detail
Hi, nice video. I am thinking of getting a portable carplay for my car but my car is not equipped with bluetooth feature. my car is a 2007 Acura RDX non tech, but I have an iPhone 14 pro max. what would be my option?
@@LensOfJames another question for you, now, without the bluetooth aux receiver, I wouldn't be able to have my iPhone communicate with the carpod unit from my iPhone's bluetooth?
It's not full android, it's a very minimal design and you can't install other other apps. You are limited what apps that are compatible with Android Auto or CarPlay

There are some dashboard consoles that can play RUclips, Netflix and other apps. They're basically Android tablets for cars - check out the Carpuride W901 Plus or Atoto P9

Ive been using this for about 3 months. Set up and usability is almost too easy. It work seamless as if the screen came with my vehicle.

The CarpodGo T3 Pro and Carpuride W903 are both fantastic and there's not much between them, though I've got the W903 in my car at the moment.
How is the reflection of the screen? Is it a matte screen?
The screen is gloss but I haven't found reflections on screens like these to be an issue at all - they're always bright enough to see the screen detail

I haven't seen a hardwire kit available for it, but you may be able to get a third party one

There's a built in microphone but no option for adding an external one. I don't think I mentioned hardwiring a microphone. 🙂

You can get a bluetooth aux receiver - I mention it at around 3:03, or you could play wired music with an aux cable if your your car a port for that.

Yes the phone and CarpodGo T3 Pro would still connect, but the sound would come out of the carplay device rather than the car speakers.

Yes it does, the sound will be the same as if you were plugging your phone into your car to listen via an AUX cable 🙂

It does, but many don't offer firmware updates at all. It comes with stable firmware so there shouldn't be any need to update it for a long time
