No I think he meant if YOU started saying something weird/suggestive like "go lower" or something along those lines... not if you bring up feeling violated.
One thing I learned watching airport security documentaries is that you can take large amounts of cash with you, but the important thing is you have to declare the amount you're carrying if it's $10,000 or more. It's as simple as that.
Kinda... First up if you take more than $10k into another country then u might get taxed or fined a percentage of the amount if you do declare it and u might lose it all if you don't. Second if you carry a lot of cash you may be required to justify why you have it and if they aren't happy with the answer they may confiscate it. Lastly be careful in certain parts of America as cops can confiscate large amounts of cash and claim it is being used for drugs or other illegal activities and then you have to prove it's not. The stupid thing is that they charge the money with the offence not you so you don't get any legal protections including innocent until proven guilty (its possibly the most corrupt law in America)
I don't really know if airport security has went too far. I mean the no liquids might have went a little far considering how unlikely that circumstancr would happen. But yes i so thing it is better safe than sorry. Great video! Keep up all of the hard work!!!!

“These people are not allowed to have a sense of humor.” Can’t tell you how many times I’ve seen TSA agents laughing it up with other agents at my airport tbh
Studies have shown that the TSA has not stopped any serious attacks, even after intense interrogation by other organizations, all of the .0037% of passengers (a number gotten off the TSA website using math) none were planning terrorist attacks and instead were bringing souvenirs or their personal self defense weapons.
The reason people are wary of the TSA is because they are ignorant. If you have any clue as to what really goes on, you would then be informed, and you would not have made your comment.

benjamin franklin said something like this. ' any man willing to give up any of their liberty for some perceived notion of safety deserves neither.' we are ultimately being treated like criminals, not to actually make us safe, but to make us feel safe.
Airport security has gone waaaaaay too far. I travel all the time and found the TSA to be simply security theatre. It gives the travelling public the illusion that they are doing something, and henceforth giving them a false sense of security. It has created a whole industry (security) where a few insiders have profited immensely. I naively believed after 911 that things would go nuts for a short period of time, then logic, reason and sanity would take over and things would go back to normal. Flying has become about as painful as root canal, and it’s only gotten worse since then.
In 2001, I flew from Jamaica to Heathrow with my older sister. I was dressed up, she looked like a ragamuffin. She also has a penchant for smoking dem Jamaican special herbs! Anyhoo, we got to Gatwick customs, and all the staff were eyeing her up, I knew she had smoked some whilst there and was hoping she has no traces on her. I had stomach cramps from wearing tight trousers on the flight and not eating BA’s poor attempts at food. Anyways, we get to declarations and the guys pulls my sister over, I say something, he asks if we are travelling together, I say yes, he says you too! I say my stomach hurts I wanna go home (I was walking doubled over my trolley), he looks at me, and we pass through no harm! I surprisingly was allowed to carry a large vase with flowers through Schipol. They laid it on the conveyor belt water came out, I stood it up, told them I’d forgotten to empty the water and they let me take it through, probs was a litre of water in it. This was in 2007, but still around the time of 100ml and clear bags! In 2009, I worked as a contractor at Heathrow and had a scalpel in my work case, as I did artwork on the side, it made it through the scan. I kept schtum! An aside: People make sure you claim YOUR bag! 2011, got off a flight from Portugal to Gatwick it was 11pm or so, picked up ‘my’ bag walked to the point of no return, realised ‘my’ bag was not MY bag. The guy who saw me bring it though would not let me go back in. I had to find someone it took ages, and this was a ‘dirty bag’. They did not want to take it back, I was at the point of nearly dumping it in the bushes, so I could go back and claim my bag. They scanned it, hummed and ahhhed, and even asked me what the things inside were (I was getting the impression they did not understand the term “I picked up The wrong bag”). After an hour, they took the bag off me, I was wondering if my own bag was still in baggage claim. I was finally allowed back in and my bag was the sole occupant in the place, sitting in the middle of the floor. We luckily caught the last train home! Phew! BTW, I travelled through Schipol this year and had a stressed week leading up to my flight, I didn’t really give a shit anymore, and amazingly met the friendliest security staff ever! They were polite, friendly and had a sense of humour.
TSA is mostly looking for weapons. They aren't looking for drugs or lots of money (that's largely the job of customs agents); TSA just has to contact local law enforcement if they happen to find that stuff.
Your information is incorrect. I work for TSA. We don’t care about drugs so your statement about bringing coffee in your carry-on is wrong. We aren’t DEA……… and your statement about prescription drugs is also wrong for the same reason as the coffee. WE DONT CARE ABOUT DRUGS WE ARENT THE DEA. Also: plenty of us have a sense of humor. We aren’t walking stiffs or emotionless robots. We are human beings. I joke with passengers all day long.
Once i had a nerf in my backpack while flying and just heard an agent asking whos this backpack while holding my backpack, i got so scared, he opened the backpack and looked so suprised when he didnt find a real gun
Nerf guns are fine because they are not replicas so I find that story hard to believe because a Nerf gun doesn't look anything like a real gun especially under X-ray.
Payday_ 2Player I fucking despise that airport, Manchester airport is my single most visited place in England, I have to drive for 11 hours from Scotland just to get there, by which time I'm sick as fuck and have to go through a bunch of shitty lines. How anyone can enjoy flying from that shithole, I don't know
I brought 2 bags of coffee from vietnam to australia, declared and got through no problem. One problem I always have is that I get searched domestically and international arrival/departure
I'm from Costa Rica, whenever we go to the US we carry coffee for our friends and family, they have never stopped us for that, also mailing something back to your home from here is a bad idea since our mailing system sucks
In my opinion airport security has not gone too far, they're mostly just searching for the wrong things. I have experienced it to be really inconsistent considering different locations/countries. For example, in Paris (CDG) they took away all of my halva spread (israeli sweet that wasn't even liquid) even though I bought it in the duty free shop and it was a connecting flight. I was actually eating it but they considered it as dangerous. Meanwhile in Istanbul (SAW), we forgot to take out a whole refilled 1,5L plastic bottle out of our carry-on, which we didn't realize. But even worse: Security Staff did not either. So yeah, you get my point haha.
What airport do u like flying out of? not even a single option that isnt in the usa. Just pick 10 biggest airports worldwide next time pls. Or just something people that are not from the usa can also relate to.
sabrina - Even English Vloggers are at it, and The Daily Mail, give temperatures for English cities in Fahrenheit, they also spell in American and use American terminology, the world is regressing at a fast rate. Soon we will see signs stating “Use the zebra crossing”, and underneath “Use the crosswalk”, because Americans cannot decipher things in that foreign English language.
in Canada for national flights, you just put your stuff in the bin and walk trough the metal detector. you don't have to remove your shoes. it take one minute in all
I once had a Magic Eight Ball I was bringing home with me when I was 12. They took it out and asked me some questions. I didn't know what they were asking me at the time, but now I just think that moment was kinda funny.
I travel a lot for work. I have several prescriptions that I take on a daily basis. I always keep them in a daily pill container, without the prescription bottle or any evidence of prescription. I never get pulled aside, and I never have them confiscated. I guess I'm just lucky. Either that, or the number of pills I'm bringing isn't enough to trigger them.
Had a lightsaber I got as a souvenir in my carry on one time. The TSA questioned me what the "blunt object" was that I had in my luggage. By the look in that agent's eyes and his tone of voice, I knew he thought I had a vibrator in there.
I always wondered why the TSA always pulls me aside. I have a fear of flying to the point that I’m usually crying before I’m even on the plane. (Not screaming but still.) I always just took it as another reason to hate flying, but now I at least know why they do that. Won’t stop it from being annoying though...
I never ride a plane before. But I do ride a ferry. It was the worst security ever. When I was around 9, I brought a knife toy the butterfly knife but the knife wasnt sharp at all and it is made out of plastic. My parents was suspended by the security guards and know I lost my butterfly knife toy.. But atleast we still be able to ride the ferry!
Ha, the TSA is a joke. I flew with my uncle who is in the FBI and without showing his credentials he walked through with his service pistol, and no one caught it. He spoke with supervisor about the breach. Not to mention the TSA failed over 90% of their safety checks in 2016.
This is exactly why you don't make videos about things you don't know... TSA does not care about coffee.. they don't care about large amounts of cash... kids are not suspicious. It is not TSAs job to find drugs.. this is why people think TSA is so incompetent.. "oh I got my bag of weed by them" no, they seen it.. they just don't care because it's not their job. That is Customs job. The whole cash thing is.. it is illegal to carry 10k in cash out of the country. So if you're at an international airport or a connecting flight to one... it's a red flag. They also don't care about your Rx pills. Now when it comes to harder drugs like coke.. although they don't care for them.. if they see it, they have to report it. TSA does different things than Customs which anyone from out of the country will ask when checking in a firearm... why do I have to get it checked by Customs and TSA.... it's because both agency's do and look for different things... otherwise, there would only be one agency there.
lankyeric Great job explaning it. You should have made the video. I can't believe they got this so wrong. It is more like they took it as a joke. I also watched the other airport security video. It looks like The Infographics show mixes up the difference between customs and the TSA.
You post some neat videos, really informative! Thanks

I've been pulled aside sometimes for thorough searching and, honestly, while it's uncomfortable, they do this to create a safe and secure flying experience for us, the passengers. I'd rather be searched twice than risk having a terrorist on board or other criminal activity.
*Security Before 9/11.* *Before 9/11 you were allowed to do almost anything you wanted to on the airline.* *So much has changed involving air travel since the September 11th attacks although, it’s still cramped, sounds the same and planes have become more crowded, the time leading up to boarding has changed significantly.* *The biggest change people agree on is security at the airport, you did not have to take off your shoes, belt or even throw away your drink.* *Passengers said they remember seeing the cockpit door open during flight before the attacks, It wasn’t uncommon for children to be called to the cockpit to get a glimpse of the controls.* *A decade ago there was not an undercover armed officer in the plane, you only had to show ID when you were checking in.* *Only two questions were asked: Did you pack your own bags have your bags, been seen outside your control, you could bring sharp objects on the plane such as, pen knives, box cutters, and sharp scissors.* *All you had to do was arrive minutes, before the flight and you wouldn't have to rush to get on family or friends, could accompany you to the gate and say farewell.* *Some planes had weak cockpit doors that broke easily, they also didn't scan all of the luggage.*
Ive taken 2 tasers, police baton, 3 brass knuckels and alot of knives( some illegal, like butterfly knife / over 40cm blade ) through the xray machine and i also had alive turtle in my pocket, when i was 4 years old without a problem.
I always thought they were looking for things to steal from a passengers luggage - also this infographic doesn't show the TSA agents as being 200lb overweight - It's a cruel world.
Beware when you’re in Terminal 2 in Dubai! There’s a scam going on at the security scanning gate. The staff there stole my cap and another guy had his gold jewellery missing. You can read more reviews online about this. Hope this will help someone.
My friend had a problem because she had an apple in her backpack. She bought it at the airport and forgot about it. You may think just an apple but no, you can't have any fruits even if you bought it at the airport.
American airport security is quite strict compared to other places like Canada and Europe, but at least they won't steal from like other places I've been to.
TSA apparently do too steal, so do not put your valuable items in checked luggage. Do not leave your phone and passport sitting out visibly in the tray. Tuck it away in your personal bag. Drives me crazy when my son does this!
I think airport security is required Even if it is strict, its for the best of everyone Also may i add that tobbaco can be confinscated and get you fined for if you have too much
Have you been searched by a TSA agent? Why?
They have to be on high alert for every single ones own safety and they only checked my hat cause it was huge
Because I had milk for my baby with me
No
Easy to hide a weapon in a baggy jacket, liquids can be combustible and used/are explosive, knives and explosive components can be hidden inside hats.

Jorn /Blokies out of the entire video you focus on that....
I always fly from Schiphol or Eindhoven (the Netherlands). I still don’t know if I like our airport our not.
sabrina this is about the TSA which is an American department so I don't know what people were expecting honestly.
sabrina - Even English Vloggers are at it, and The Daily Mail, give temperatures for English cities in Fahrenheit, they also spell in American and use American terminology, the world is regressing at a fast rate. Soon we will see signs stating “Use the zebra crossing”, and underneath “Use the crosswalk”, because Americans cannot decipher things in that foreign English language.
AMS is my favourite airport
One of my favorite youtube channel!

Oh if I get the pat down I always make crude jokes; that's non-negotiable.
another episode of fine work, great job once again.
in Canada for national flights, you just put your stuff in the bin and walk trough the metal detector. you don't have to remove your shoes. it take one minute in all
I once had a Magic Eight Ball I was bringing home with me when I was 12. They took it out and asked me some questions. I didn't know what they were asking me at the time, but now I just think that moment was kinda funny.
1. having a diabetic pump
seriously every trip my dad gets pull over for having a device that keeps him alive
Yeah, better safe than sorry but sometimes you can miss your flight if you are one of the last ones standing in the queue
Dang. You guys are on a roll with these.
Thanks for interesting and informative videos!
Exactly, TSA only looks for incendiaries, weapons, and explosives.
Yeah last year I carried $2000 in cash and another $1000 worth of gold in my bag and they didn’t stop me.
lankyeric Great job explaning it.
*Security Before 9/11.*
*Before 9/11 you were allowed to do almost anything you wanted to on the airline.*
*So much has changed involving air travel since the September 11th attacks although, it’s still cramped, sounds the same and planes have become more crowded, the time leading up to boarding has changed significantly.*
*The biggest change people agree on is security at the airport, you did not have to take off your shoes, belt or even throw away your drink.*
*Passengers said they remember seeing the cockpit door open during flight before the attacks, It wasn’t uncommon for children to be called to the cockpit to get a glimpse of the controls.*
*A decade ago there was not an undercover armed officer in the plane, you only had to show ID when you were checking in.*
*Only two questions were asked: Did you pack your own bags have your bags, been seen outside your control, you could bring sharp objects on the plane such as, pen knives, box cutters, and sharp scissors.*
*All you had to do was arrive minutes, before the flight and you wouldn't have to rush to get on family or friends, could accompany you to the gate and say farewell.*
*Some planes had weak cockpit doors that broke easily, they also didn't scan all of the luggage.*
I think that airport security is doing their job, it's better to be safe than sorry :) I'm a first time flyer so what can I expect
Ive taken 2 tasers, police baton, 3 brass knuckels and alot of knives( some illegal, like butterfly knife / over 40cm blade ) through the xray machine and i also had alive turtle in my pocket, when i was 4 years old without a problem.
And im 15 right now :D
I always thought they were looking for things to steal from a passengers luggage - also this infographic doesn't show the TSA agents as being 200lb overweight - It's a cruel world.
Now I have to make sure to not to look stressed whenever a TSA officer watching
I'm stressed now
Probably fastest growing channel
The coffee thing from costa rica i have actually done funny coincidence (no drugs) but the airport never stopped me.
Once I threw up at the airport 😬
At least I got to go through the special queue with about three people in it
Oh the joys of flying
The question should be 'Why can't they find it?' and 'Why are we paying for theatre that doesn't work?'
Beware when you’re in Terminal 2 in Dubai! There’s a scam going on at the security scanning gate. The staff there stole my cap and another guy had his gold jewellery missing. You can read more reviews online about this. Hope this will help someone.
love your videos
I was in a class trip and i made a tsa agent laugh by the time i got to the detectors i was AND I QUOTE “Randomly selected”
NICE AND BEST VIDEO IM LEARNING MORE
The idea of being charged with sexual harassment by the one touching close to your genitals is hilarious.
When I was 3 I had a toy revolver on the plane. There's even a picture of me with it at an airport 😂👍🔥💯
Airport security is really strict , and thats how security should be
Or the fact that you cant carry a bottle of water onto the plane. WATER! ffs they are just a theater show and nothing else
TSA has a 95% failure rate
Avie Praeda it's actually way above 95% overall
Mom: Barack Obama isn’t the only president
5 year old me: impossible
My friend had a problem because she had an apple in her backpack. She bought it at the airport and forgot about it. You may think just an apple but no, you can't have any fruits even if you bought it at the airport.
TSA stands for
T:Throw
S:Shit
A:Away
Throw Shit Away!
XxDat1WeirdGirlxX I thought it was Thousands Standing Around 😂🤣
what disturbs me is that they seem to be more interested in doing everything but stopping terrorism.
Ah the TSA, or as i like to call them "The Gestapos"
Alcatraz NKVD more like, the Gestapo were less intrusive than the TSA even
Rommel Don't make me tell Adolf you wanted to kill him.

You would think #5 is way to common at an airport...
Really like ur Videos
American airport security is quite strict compared to other places like Canada and Europe, but at least they won't steal from like other places I've been to.
TSA apparently do too steal, so do not put your valuable items in checked luggage. Do not leave your phone and passport sitting out visibly in the tray. Tuck it away in your personal bag. Drives me crazy when my son does this!
Am no the only one who loves and admired airports EDIT: admires* and I mean all of the airport including planes; security not so much
I think airport security is required
Even if it is strict, its for the best of everyone
Also may i add that tobbaco can be confinscated and get you fined for if you have too much
Lol I forgot i had a 3 inch knife in my backpack yet TSA didn't find it 😂 I realized i had seriously 10sec after i went through TSA
I have never been to a more serious place in all my life, its like the DMV and the Library had a baby, yeah, the baby was the airport...
I will do all of that on my next trip
Going to australia soon in about 1.5 months. The info might be useful in terms of the general things that they might look for
This is awesome thanks
Thats what i call research!!!
Nice i love this chanel
