I am the mother of 2 teenage boys, & it is frightening how fast DOCTORS seem to promote a life of ‘Victimhood’ & throw prescriptions & surgeries at children as ‘the fix’ instead of **GASP** therapy, etc.
It is so scary, since most public still thinks children under 21 are too young to smoke, vape, & drink… & aren’t allowed to even get a tattoo ‘because it’s permanent & they aren’t mature enough to make THAT decision.’😐.

I did a paper on this. My professor tried to shoot my thesis down. Told him, no, this is my opinion based off data. Got a 95 on the paper and an apology due his ignorance about how dangerous it is to transition before completing puberty.

@@HansLemurson Puberty blockers increase risk of bone loss, osteoporosis, osteoarthritis, joint problems, scoliosis. Decreased IQ (puberty blockers cause a greater decrease in IQ than lead poisoning did in children of the 60s).
If the children go on to cross-sex hormones and their genitals don’t fully develop, they will be infertile, and they risk never having the ability to orgasm.
There’s also the long-term risks of cross-sex hormones, which include increased risk of cardiovascular disease, heart attack, stroke, and venous thromboembolism.
They also have a higher risk of pancreatitis (an emergency and potentially fatal condition), gall bladder disease, and diabetes.
This is what giving children a lifelong hormone disorder does to them.

Gay here, and fully agree. If we aren't able to drink, smoke, get tattoos, or plastic surgery under the ages of 18-21 (Canadian here), why has it become okay to inflict irreversible changes on young bodies in this case? There's nothing wrong with an adult doing whatever it is that they want to do, that's their prerogative, and hopefully they've done enough thinking and research to avoid jumping in blind. But children? If a kid can't decide what kind of ice cream flavour they want, I'm not sure it's necessarily wise to trust them to make such a life-altering decision as transitioning obviously is. Just flabbergasted.
Fr I saw at story of a teenager and a little kid both changed there genders one was under 8 the oldest was like 13 kids shouldn’t be allowed to change there gender it could be because of someone they idol and they then realize they don’t want to you should be of the age of 21 to change gender

My aunt had a double mastectomy due to breast cancer……it did not make her a man.
Not only that, but as of my aunt myself, and my mom became somewhat jealous of her new smoothness because she just looks like a woman that has small breasts at the end of the day. No back pain!!!!
She did not do reconstruction because she’s in her 70s. We have larger breasts aaaandtheyre really Not great for too much from running to fitting in clothes properly. The only stuff she can’t wear now are deep V neck shirts!!!
It did not affect her being a woman even a little bit and that’s part of why she didn’t get a reconstruction. She didn’t want to follow the concept that her breasts were what made her a woman. There is a whole flat chest movement going on in relation to that + implant sickness and other issues and complications reconstruction often brings that many feel pressured into.

I used to be the teen that was confused about my identity but when I turned 18 I no longer wanted that so this is so important. Kids are finding who they are as they grow up, it’s adults that put it in their heads.

This argument is every bit as pseudo-scientific as claiming that gender and sex are social constructs. I'd advise you to look into endochrine disrupting chemicals, or EDCs for short (eg microplastics, chemical birth control waste products in women's urine, etc) which completely lace our food and water supplies and the myriad of ways they cause havoc to the human body - be it crashing t-levels in men, skyrocketting rates of early-onset puberty in girls and emerging studies which suggest that EDCs can mess with the development of the human brain by masculinising the brain structures of girls and feminising the brain structures of boys. As an extreme example of what EDCs can do, I'd also encourage you to ready up on how the dumping of a pesticide called Atrazine into a wetlands, caused an entire population of frogs there to undergo chemically-induced sex changes. That is to say nothing of how the standard medical practice for responding to intersex baby boys, was to perform infant gender reassignment surgery on them.
Let me put it this way, imagine if hypothetically, some mad scientist abducted you,removed your brain and successfully transplanted it into a body of the opposite sex. When you woke up, felt like you were in the wrong body and felt like your sex was completely the opposite of what the sex of your current body was, would that be a "delusion" on your part too, or would it be your brain rightly recognising that its sex and the sex of the rest of your body, were completely different?
Oh and as a brief aside for any Christians reading this, who are familiar with Deuteronomy 18:10, the Greek word for "sorcery" is "pharmakeia", which is where the word "pharmacology", is derived from - where EDCs is a pharmacological term.
We should absolutely be refraining from giving children puberty blockers or gender-reassignment surgery, to dismiss gender dysphoria as "just mental-illness", "playing pretend" or as you put it "[a] delusion" is every bit as counter-productive an argument as that of the social constrictionists.

I know a so-called "trans woman". He was a big guy, but not fat. Husky and athletic. Probably weighed about 260 lbs. Had his sex change in his mid 20s.
He's now around 35 years old, over 420 lbs, can hardly walk on his own, had to have his gallbladder removed, and is now suffering liver failure.
But he got himself a right perdy set o boobies and a nice cameltoe.

Anyone else remember health classes in the preteen years at school that discussed puberty. Where the teacher and the book mentioned that as a child's body entered puberty they would undergo changes and tried to reassure kids that feeling awkward as those changes came about in you and your friends was perfectly normal. Now a days it seems that we have adults telling kids that if entering puberty makes you feel awkward it means you have to stop being who you actually are immediately because there is no room for awkward
exactly! No one liked puberty. No one feels perfectly fine and ready to embrace those changes...that's why it's adolescence. Finishing puberty is the cure for their issues 99% of the time. We have taught kids to be terrified of puberty, and now they are.

Agreed, and don’t let anyone try to strongarm you into changing your mind with veiled threats that your child might become suicidally depressed if you say no to them transitioning. If my son told me he wanted to enlist in the army (he is eleven at the moment) I would not hesitate to say no. If he said he was depressed by my decision, even to the point of self-harm, I would get him help…but still say no to this other thing we don’t let minors do.

Nurse here. I’ll get fired for sexual harassment if I don’t respect someone’s preferred pronouns. I’m not even allowed to openly disagree with the narrative and this still very controversial issue. It seems that medicine is no longer about treating the underlying cause and all about making you feel better in the moment. I feel like a fraud.

We work with drs for my daughter for her T1D. We kind of just get whomever is available. Sometimes we have pronoun pushers and others who don’t. We prefer to work with those who don’t push. But we don’t respond to the “what are your pronouns?” Questions. We say our names and leave it at that.

To me, just an engineer, it becomes hard for me to respect doctors as a whole (though there are plenty of good ones) when so many are willing to entertain in such nonsensical opinions. Is it just because of the money? I mean, I get it, somewhat. I can see it in other professions, HR starts eyeballing your for not towing the line and you don't want to not be able to feed your family. It's insidious, however.
I promise these trans procedures are legit the next nose jobs of the late 90s early 2000s. It's so fn weird. No tattoos before 18 because that's a commitment but a nose job, new breast and a sex change is a ok. 🤢🤮

This issue and the corruption and the authoritarian handling of the pandemic has made me unable to identify with the left anymore. I worked with children for many years and can’t believe this is being pushed in schools, and that people who speak up are punished. I feel so much for these poor kids,who won’t know to trust their own eyes and ears and grow up so confused and anxious. This really is shocking how this is playing out.

I’m 60 years old and was diagnosed with DID in 1983. It was a result of horrible torture, (physical, emotional and of course sexual), by my father. I had a mother who knew what was happening and turned a blind eye. He was in to BDSM. Two examples: He would tell me I needed to take a bath on a Sunday afternoon, starting when I was about four. My mother and sisters would be out watching tv. My father would walk into the bathroom, grab me by the throat and hold me under the water until I pretended to be dead. Then, he’d casually walk out and go sit in the living room in full view of my mother. Next example: when I was in 7th grade, my friends would tease me about never washing my neck. I knew I washed it and couldn’t understand. 30 years later, I ran into one of my friends from school. He told me about my different personalities and that my
neck was always bruised from strangulation. That blew me away! It opened up a can of personalities I never knew I had. I ended up in a psych ward. When I underwent intensive therapy, I came to realize that dissociation is a coping mechanism. Every one of my personalities had distinct and specific role, (resulting from the abuse). They showed themselves and when they did, I realized they had been my helpers, my brain’s protective system, who took over until I was strong enough to, “come back. I was, “gone”, for a solid year one time. I, “left”, in eight grade literature class and woke up in 9th grade algebra. It was so disturbing. I can guarantee that my alters have very distinct identities with different ideas of what is right and wrong. They each have one job to do. There is NO WAY they could ever come to a consensus about transitioning. They are young and old, male and female. They carry their very own opinions in regard to the abuse. I am an RN BSN. I thank them and of course God, for being able to work in a busy ER/TRAUMA center. I have just beautiful relationships with my husband, children and grandchildren. No one, except my husband, notices, (not even me), when I switch. Whatever job that needs to be done, the personality takes over and I don’t notice because they are all ME. To add all that hormone trash, on top of their broken personality, is cruel and horrible and EVIL. I know most people don’t believe in God these days. I do, because He kept me alive and healed me. Those children deserve to work on their healing without monsters experimenting on them. God knows those monsters and they will get their just desserts. I hope I’m around to see it.
Amazing that children under the age of 16 are not considered capable of consenting to sexual activity, but some people think them capable of consenting to hormone treatment and surgical mutilation which are irreversible and they will be stuck with the consequences for the rest of their lives.
Atleast with sex the chance it goes wrong is small and then u still have a abortion method.. there is no abortion button to push on these mutilations.. I seriously wish I could see my vet for my health care; I sure wouldn't get blown off for being an hysterical attention-seeking wackjob for decades only to find out, in my late 50s, that I have a weird genetic condition. My dog has a very rare type of epilepsy (TLE, temporal lobe epilepsy), & I dreaded taking him to my vet almost 7 years ago, b/c I expected to get blown off the way docs blow me off. I described his seizures, which look like severe panic attacks, & she just nodded & said something like "yes, those are rare but very real. Let's try this medicine to prevent the seizures." It did. People with this type of TLE average 15-20 years of being called crazy & sent to shrinks before some doc with a functioning brain figures it out. And doctors only have to deal with one species!

"Dimorphic innate trait" is going into my lexicon for future debates with people who call me a meanie-pants for not wanting young girls to get double mastectomies. I have witnessed it first hand with parents I knew falling for this nonsense. Like a dopamine hit, the child was only happy for a very short time, and then became even more depressed when the reality of what she had done really set in. Some of these doctors, like the one who used to Tweet "Yeet the teets" should be jailed for their callous and inhumane "medical" practices.

This is exactly what we’re learning in medical school, luckily. What bothers me is that they tip toe around saying "kids shouldn’t transition". Behind closed doors, many doctors and med school professors agree this practice needs to stop, as there is NO evidence that these procedures/treatments are safe.

The thing is these hormonal drugs are NOT FDA-approved for the purpose of transitioning, neither is cross-sex hormone use in supra-physiological doses. It’s all off-label prescribing. While doctors are permitted to prescribe drugs off-label, IMO it’s suspicious and certainly frowned upon when it’s schedule 2 & 3 *controlled substances* such as testosterone being RXed off-label.
Only med I’ve ever really seen prescribed off-label is Trazodone to treat insomnia due to its side effect of sleepiness, but it’s also frequently used in veterinary medicine as a sedative for anxious dogs. Veterinarians know better than the gender borg! They warn not to get dogs neutered/spayed too early (before 6 months) because it can negatively affect their growth and development with joint problems, etc. The funny thing is my dog humps stuffed animals even though he’s neutered, you can’t eliminate male instincts. We see this in the trans activists who exhibit very male-typical aggression.
My sister-in-law has to argue all the time with the parents of trans kids. She doesn’t care about your feelings when you are in the ER she cares about your life and preventing a horrible medical error.

So very true! I have family that are nurses, paramedics, doctors, etc. One of the major issues they have with dealing with a trans person who will not answer or identify their birth sex, is that sometimes their treatment will not work or needs done a lot differently. How in the world are they supposed to help a biological young lady who identifies as a male, maybe had transition surgery, if they have, say a ovarian growth and yet they say they are not female and won't let you run the appropriate tests, etc. It's ridiculous and the patient can have major issues as a result. I say this because this has happened in an ER.
Now, let's apply this to children! Absolutely not OK. They are not prepared for this decision and it's MAJOR consequences.

I wasn't exposed to obvious lgbt characters in kids cartoons (She-Ra, Steven Universe, Adventure Time) until late 2010s, I was well into my 20s by then and had noticed something "off" about myself in my mid teens (besides the fact that I wanted to marry princess Amalthea when I saw her at around 10 years old 😜)

I'm not a doctor, but why doesn't anyone ever address that fact that human brains' frontal cortex isn't fully developed until our mid 20's?! They don't fully comprehend the consequences of a MAJOR decision like that! They don't know if they want kids yet! The scenarios are endless!
This is the basis of several lawsuits and I believe are still ongoing. Even with parental consent, it is arguably unethical to have transitioned anybody under the age of 18 because that individual has not fully developed a brain that is capable of making complex long-term decisions.
In Scotland, that was the excuse used for a lenient sentence on a teenaged rapist. The same country that thinks a 16 year old is mature enough to transition?

This is the second time humans were put on a sterilization program in North America. The first one was a eugenics program in the 1920's and 30's and was the example for the Nazis to do it in Germany.
It was the medical establishent then, in particular the psychiatrists and eugenists, and it is again them now.
Every person that goes trans is effectively sterilized once they commit to their genitals being removed, even if they reverse the procedure they're still sterilized as what is put back is a false organ. Basically the procedure is permanent.

I'm a historically liberal family nurse practitioner and a mother of a young child. Let me just say that I'm astonished and ashamed by the " general consensus" of the medical community on this topic. Anyone with a psychology or medical education can see from a mile away that what we are doing to children is horrific. Unfortunately the social justice politics have gone too far and have blinded these medical professionals. I'm absolutely thrilled to see a medical organization finally standing up and discussing the real science and psychology of adolescents that shows none of this is beneficial to children in the long run. I desperately hope that the greater medical community continues to stand up and shout enough is enough.
In the UK, our doctors are bound by the oath, "Do no harm!" I can't help but think this oath has gone by the wayside.

I am a retired pediatrician. I am relieved to see a pediatrician speak out against transition of children. I was shocked that the AMA and AAP were supporting this terrible fad! I practiced pediatrics for 35 years, and I never once saw a child that seriously expressed the desire to become a member of the opposite sex.
As someone that has to take full TRT and Thyroid hormone replacement due to cancer, I can say through my own experience that playing with hormones that are naturally regulated by your body is one of the worst things you can do for your overall health...namely the mental health. People that haven't gone through hormone issues don't realise just how much your endocrine system pilots every other system in the body. Eg: You give a small girl TRT for gender therapy which results in unnatural imbalance so her thyroid tries to rebalance the hormones to natural levels, which in turn results in thyroid burnout and autoimmune thyroid deficiency, which then results in low stomach acid, poor kidney function, overburdened liver function, poor heart health, adrenaline resistance...and the list goes on...just from giving a girl something she is not meant to have according to her DNA (should be obvious enough though)

I agree with the person who recommended a Christian therapist. They won’t be any of the things you mentioned in your comment. But if they are fully trained and licensed, they will also not try and make you accept religion (unless you want to, and you don’t have to talk to them about it , and you would do that separate from the counseling).
There was a study done on gender dysphoria in kids. The vast majority when left alone to grow up, grow out of their gender dysphoria and go on to live normal lives as their sex at birth. Even if it was only half, we still should give kids a chance to grow up first, learn a thing or two, then they can make up their own mind on what to do with their life.
I am a firm believer most kids, or people in general, when it comes to this subject are just experiencing a fad, a phase, like kids always do.
Lobotomies, electro shock therapy, hypnosis, it seems like we have a crazy trend every so often.

I had already had two kids, had stated I do not want anymore, my husband had stated he didn't want anymore, they refused to to tie my tubes. They flat out stated that husband should get a vasectomy, so I am not allowed to decide that. I want to have my tubes tied but children are allowed to decide that they want to have their penis mutilated or to have their forearm mutilated and a fake penis installed that will cause huge problems. Do it, and stick to it! We pulled our children out of public schools back in 2014, because I could already see the discrimination unfolding against them, even back then.
It was the best choice I ever made. None of my children, ranging from 19 to 27 adhere to any of this brainwashed, orwellian BS. They all see it for what it truly is. My youngest tells me all the time how he can actively see his peers changing all around him, and blames public schools directly.

My brother was homeschooled, the state has programs specifically for homeschooled kids to connect and take classes with other kids in their homes. My father taught my brother and another young man in the area being homeschooled as well, carpentry as a tech education class. My brother and that other boy became good friends.
It's not the homeschooling that causes issues with antisocialism, it's the lack of work and awareness of the parents who choose to do it and end up not doing it properly. The state has guidelines and a curriculum to follow and then also provides resources for shared classes of other students being homeschooled in your area.
Don't blame homeschooling, it's a VERY convenient option if the parent/parents are able to do so. And save the kids getting gender and sexual identity forced on them when they should just be on a playground having fun
Here in the UK, the Cass Review and WPath Files have been completely ignored (on purpose) by the mass media. It's sickening. No one under 18 should transition.
I am from the UK and in the Paediatric nursing field, and the Cass review, which was undertaken here, has not been ignored. The travistock clinic has been closed, even before the cass review was published. In response to the review new services for these vulnerable children have been set up, at a number of major Children's hospitals including GOSH, which adhere to the recommendations of the Cass report.

The 'assigned at birth' argument was always flawed. It is well known that the sperm decides the sex of a baby. Your sex is 'assigned' by the sperm who wins the race. How can that be 'wrong'? If it is wrong, then the human even BEING here is wrong because the sperm that created them was the wrong sperm.

It isn’t assigned at birth in many cases. DNA is often tested before birth. Even then it’s not assigned. It’s “known” at that point but DNA assigns sex through DNA.

gender refers to societal viewpoints of how a male or female should react and as such have nothing do to with a biological reality. Transsexuals exist but are now often conflated with transgenders. Studies do show that transsexuality has a genetic base.
Way back in the 1940's one of my cousins was a classic tomboy. She beat all the boys at schools playing marbles and she was more interested in baseball and her dogs than dresses and makeup. She grew up still loving dogs and sports and ended up as the head of the PE department at a university where she coached softball and field hockey. She never thought she was a man. I was like Jo March from Little Women. I liked books, sports and animals. I knew I was a woman but I was not a stereotypical girly girl and back in the 50's and 60's I was allowed to be a tomboy.

No kidding that most kids aren't capable of thinking about this seriously. I have a friend whose youngest daughter thinks she's a boy and every "expert" has told them to go along with transitioning. I've known this friend since this child was 3 years old and I'm pretty sure that all of this is due to trying to flea the pain from bullying. So "expert" psychologists went along with transitioning this teenage girl instead of dealing with the root of the issue. Utter insanity.

When I was 16, I was anorexic. If a physician were to suggest gastric bypass surgery, I would have easily agreed to it. I also thought I hated kids and never wanted them. Hysterectomy at 16? Sign me up. But here I am in my 40s, healthy weight, sound mind, and a loving mom of two. Thank goodness good medicine saved me from myself. We need to protect our children.
