Your embossed wood, or what ever you call this technique, looks golden. Would hold or bronze look good with this card? I know you did similar with a snowflake stencil and leaves. This color combo on camera looks really "golden". I love it!
This is such a cool carved wood look. And I can't wait to use your diecut tip! So smart! I'm like you and don't like it when the border on a diecut image is uneven
Just a suggestion? Why not use a vanilla cardstock? And maybe instead of a snowman, what about a deet? Or a pair of skies? But love the backgrounds! They're awesome and really a masculine look!

I love this! But I am trying to do it using my Big Kick machine... and a rubber mat that was original for my Cuttlebug machine. And I can't seem to get the right sandwich. The paper keeps getting scrunched up!

You can also use double sided tape to keep the strip on the Mistie.
