Man Darby, those were some amazing close calls, you couldn't have cut it closer if you'd tried on at least 3 occassions.. the pit with pokey head guy, the fire bar frame perfect miss, and milliseconds from timing out. Not to mention, I always hate the one block gap jumps into a wall situations, so, Nice Plays! Gg.

Your first death in this video was pretty interesting. You noticed how the shell walked along the bottom of the screen after you died? That's actually an odd glitch/quirk in the SMB engine where a koopa that is stomped right at the bottom line will wake up and walk along the screen bottom, even on top of a pit. This is also demonstrated in the TASVideos "warpless walkathon" as the only way to beat stage 4-3 without hitting the run button at all.

I think you pronounced Syobon correctly the first time. Good job, you're one step better than pretty much every English-speaking RUclipsrs, who commonly mispronounce Japanese words.

Syobon is actually pronounced "Shobon".

I noticed that Koopa going THROUGH the walls in a NES hack named Toad's Treasure Quest.
I started playing horizon zero dawn last week and you look a lot like the guy in the beginning of the game. Your face is so similar.

What is Cat Mario/Syobon's Action?
Syobon's Action(しょぼんのアクション) is made by "Chiku(ちく)", with C++ program.
This game is filled with some troll traps, letting you die for many times.
But it has no game over! The number of remaining life becomes negative if you died with 0 life.
Syobon muat find the melon from Bowser! What could go wrong?
Plus: I want BTG to play Eryi's Action(エリィのアクション), made by same person. (Available on Steam.) This game is also filled with troll.
In Cat Mario 1-2 there is a secret area called "OWATA ZONE". And all the pipes kill you.
I got some good Rom hacks.
1. Super Mario World: Odyssey
2. Newer Super Mario bros Wii (IDK if this one counts as a Rom)
3. Peaches Winter Adventure
4. Waluigi's taco stand (May not seem like it, but it's a Rom hack of SM 64)
5. I can't believe it's on sonic 1

the firebar got through you because it was too long and nes cannot handle it to be smooth due to hardware limitation, so it was "low fps" and the firebar didn't actually hit you
