No offense to any Russians (my family came from Russian and Ukraine) but my take on it is if we let you take Afghanistan then even with the collapse of the Soviet Union then there still wouldn’t be such a divide between reasonable people and radical terrorists in Afghanistan today and the remnants of the soviet-Afghanistan war.
