thanks for sharing this video with mw about SO MUCH AMAZING HISTORY INSIDE THIS ABANDONED OLD HOUSE!!! it was a cool find i gave you a thumbs up and shared you ouy on my community tab my friend and God Bless.
Absolutely wonderful house and video ❤🎉 You always find good places but this one was extra special. I was glued to the TV watching and looking at everything and listening to you both. Very interesting place and stuff inside. Thanks for your time and videos, it's always something I look forward to watching ❤ Georgia Fan 🙂
This was a really good explore . No modernization and lots of original fixtures. Lovely building and area. Nobody seems to want to live in these type of houses anymore. But it would need a complete renovation. ❤️
Hello you two 🤠 Gem of an explore👍❣️ Nothing modern, that was quite nice. I read that book by Dale Carnegie probably 40 yrs ago now. Loved the view, would have been very lovely to lived there. I am a hat person so I enjoyed seeing all those👒 See ya on your next great explore! Happy Trails Stay Safe God Speed 🌹🙏🌹
@@Mothertruckeer96 his morning! 👋 Nothing modern suits me just fine, just love the older furniture. I haven't read that book, I'll put it on my list! 🙂 Glad you enjoyed it, see you on the next one! 💚
The patent ewbank looks like a wringer for your laundry it's a shame the property was left to deteriorate what a beautiful view and The flatley was a laundry dryer I remember mum having one when I was young they really let out a lot of heat it use to keep the whole flat warm in the winter wish I could get one of them today my dad still has he's traveling iron again another great explore thank you look forward to you next video
Thank you for that, it's been bugging me ever since what those were! Those travelling irons were lovely, I'd never seen any so old before! It breaks my heart that they're probably going to get thrown out. Glad you enjoyed it, see ya next time! 💚
I loved the sandwich spread but it did look a lot nicer than that concoction, creamy and full of vegetables.Lovely property with a splendid view plus it's quaint and quirky. Would make a beautiful home if it was restored and renovated, instead of falling into oblivion. Cool explore guy's and a great find.😊 ❤ xxx
@@margaretconnery7422 I still buy that sandwich spread sometimes, used to be a favourite of mine as a kid. The views were amazing from this house, it's in a lovely setting. Thank you, we're glad you enjoyed it! 💚
Fantastic explore, amazing original house which would have been lovely in it's day, loved all the panelling and built ins. Shame everything had been thrown about but what interesting old stuff, fascinating to see. My dad also had a copy of that book, I guess everyone did in the 50s. I could have spent the entire day going through it all. Most impressive was the location, just stunning. I wonder why it's been left for so long, fortunately it looks fairly intact, no mould or water damage that I could see so I hope someone rescues it. Well done both for such a good find, totally enjoyable.❤
We could have stayed in there all day too! So much to see in that house and so much history that'll be lost forever sadly. Thank you so much for watching, glad you enjoyed it! 💚
Loved your video really old things brought back memories of my Nans things that she had ❤. Love watching you two you always put a big smile on my face cannot wait for your next one take care ❤❤
I saw this house by someone else but when you do it, it’s like a different house. You’re much more precise with detail. Wouldn’t it be lovely all restored. All that wood panelling
The piece of furniture found at the start which was thought to be a sewing machine table was actually an old type printing press for posters or flyers. Another nice one chap's. Peace and Love.
@@happyvaper5748 thank you! Although a couple of folks have mentioned it might be for wringing clothes out. Either way, it's a lovely looking old piece. Glad you enjoyed it! 💚

Flatly is a drier inside there are wooden slats and you hung your washing in to dry, I had one back in the day, they could warm the coldest of rooms. The wooden thing hung on the stairs with numbers on, is a game, you throw hoops and what ever number it landed on was your score highest score wins. This was a really interesting explore thank you both. 😊😊😊❤❤
Thank you for that! We've learned about a game we didn't even know existed! We've since looked up this game and there aren't many shaped like this one, most are either square or round. Very interesting! The dryer is cool as well, thank you! 😊
Great video, lot's of old and interesting stuff. The bottle you picked op at the 22min point was a breast reliever, according to the box next to it. Just saying.
HA! 🤣 I didn't notice the box next to it! Can't see for looking a they say. Well that makes sense as we've since found out that the lady of the house was a midwife! Thanks for watching! 💚
the ewbank is an old mangle for squezzing out water from clothes etc etc when doing the laundry, you turn the handle in one direction to get the roller,s into an upright position & when it locks into place, you then turn the handle the other direction to operate the roller,s where you feed your laundry out of the dolly tub, then the water drains out of the clothe,s etc back into the dolly tub, you usualy had two dolly tubs, one to wash the cloth,s in with hot water & washing powder or soap etc & the other dolly tub to rince the cloth,s in cold water, & a dolly stick or a copper posser to aggetate the cloth,s, i have a mangle in pristine condition & dolly tubs & dolly stick etc in my bathroom, & when my washing machine broke i used them, hard work, but it was something the housewife did every week not that long ago, & i remember my grandma using them, & we as kids would turn the mangle with her, esp when she washed wool blankets which where very heavy with been full of water until the mangle squeezed most of the water out, ewbank also made carpet sweeper,s that you rotate back & forward over the carpet to pick up crumbs etc, & i also have one of them two, i like to keep things that you dont really see anymore. Cos when you go in anyone,s house, everything is the same, just a load of boring modern appliances & white plain walls, etc etc, two clinical for my liking, i would have a field day in an old house like that your in & i would rescue & wash or restore allsorts of things, i.ve just restored an old wall gas lamp like the one above the sink in the video, i converted mine to electric with a flicker bulb in it, looks great in my victorian living room, the light is flickering & so is my open coal fire as i type this, thanks
@@michaelgoulding6609 wow! Your home sounds wonderful. What I would do to live in a house like that! I also love the old ways, the old items and the old houses to put them in. Thank you for all the information on the eubank, I realise they made a few household items and I have a carpet sweeper myself although I don't use it as it spits lumps of fluff out as I push it along! 🤣
I really enjoyed that thanks. I wonder what was behind the locked door? Sometimes if there has been a death in the family like someone’s lost a daughter or a son, they sometimes lock the room up and leave it like a shrine to them and only going and clean it. The sad thing is someone will probably break in there one day. 👍
@@cliffordmillington8021 on the other side of the locked door was another house! Unfortunately it was stripped almost bare and the floors had gone so we didn't bother with that bit. Glad you enjoyed it! 💚
It would be interesting to see if Hannah Hawkswell lived in North Yorkshire for years, several years before she died she got electric &gas. She had a small farm ,several tv programmes and books about her
5:06 It’s a cloths mangle for squeezing out water from the washing. 24:50. The shield on the wall you thought was a key holder is for a game of Quoits. You throw the circular quoit at the numbered ring to score points. Sometimes I’m glad the ransackers don’t know what they’re looking at as a lot of the contents of this house would have been taken and sold off way below their true value. There is a lot of junk only worth memories but there are some precious items hiding here.
@@tinasteer2507 thank you! 😊 I had to look that game up as I'd never heard of it. There's not many of that particular shape around either, they're mostly square or round boards. Interesting! You're a star 🌟
