Great to hear Freddy. I saw him in Weymouth around 1960 backing Screaming Lord Sutch. The loudest band I had ever heard at that time. Then I saw him a year or two later at (I think) the Flamingo in London.
A great rocker i saw many times he never failed to give a full on performance, sometimes removed his eye and dropped it into his beer sitting atop of the piano as he played.

A great showman. I first saw him when I was 16 years old at Baileys in Leicester in 1977.

Remember seeing this guy live he was brilliant and I got a momento a chunk of piano after he'd destroyed one on stage he was fantastic
I introduced Freddie to Bert and Frances Rockhuizen at the all day festival at the De Montford Hall Leicester middle of August 1977

J’ai eu l’occasion de voir sa performance début des années 80 à la télé.
Concert grandiose du même style que Jerry Lee Lewis en plus sauvage.
Dommage qu'il ne soit pas plus connu en France sauf par les vrais fans de rockabilly (comme moi ) ....
