I stopped respecting Sony. I just found out that my pre-order was cancelled because they will have less than expected. In the end like what happened with horizon forbidden west regalla or the PS5. The bots being faster. They are the ones who take the stock to be sold 3x more expensive.

Honestly, these look amazing except for one glaring flaw...they're missing a physical copy of the game! Collector's editions should always come with a physical copy. Other than that, fantastic job with this one.

I'm really digging Thor's VA. The entire time I felt like the guy was 1 slight away from breaking someone's something despite seeming like a nice guy. That's Thor to a T.
Confirmed. The Vanir twins are Freya and Freyr. Kratos is carrying Freyr on his shoulder in the new trailer. The design on his waist armor, his undershirt and more, match the details on the right carving. Also, I believe the three coins here are directly related to the three on Tyr's body as well. It seems they are really trying to hide that side of him in the new trailer. Wonder why?

No physical disc in a collector edition is absolutely outrageous, you should be able to choose code (for digital only ps5's) or physical disc
right it's absolutely crazy. video game collectors like to collect physical games and this is a collectors edition for GAME COLLECTORS
It's a glorified cd key. Most games don't have the full game data on the disc anymore. Who cares. Get a blank disc and print some art on it. You'll never look at it outside of sitting in the case as itll be in the console disc drive unless your some weirdo that stares at discs.
These editions are designed for the digital ps5, because that console can't actually read discs. So they removed the actual disc so the digital ps5 owners can buy these editions. If these editions had a physical copy of the game then digital owners wouldn't buy them, this gives options to both disc based and digital console users
The steele book has the discs buve. they are on both edittions. You just dont have to ever break it out if you got the digital code tho

I understand what they thought, to not include the disc in these editions, but what they didn't think of is that the people who value COLLECTING games are those who went out of their way to get the DISC PS5, so that we could add the game boxes to our little shelf collection.
Those who don't care about that collecting physical stuff generally would opt for a digital PS5. So it doesn't make any sense that the COLLECTOR'S editions wouldn't include the physical disc.

I Always wondered why they never got ryan hurst any roles in any viking or norse mythology related movies or series, dude definitely got that northman look in him, amazing actor.
He has a great voice. The same kind of gruff edge with Josh Brolin and Dennis Farina.

As cool as these are, not having a physical disc is such a massive miss... Why are companies not including the disc in their most expensive collectors editions anymore?

Because they want to push you to buy digital, which is something a lot of people don't want.
You can blame the digital edition ps5 for that. The digital code is the only way to work across all ps5 editions.
Because digital ps5 version owners need a way to play this.
It's cost-effective for them and they are also supported by an industry that is slowly moving towards an all-digital future. No more physical games, no more bulky consoles. I have quite a few piles of games for multiple platforms but it's been a while since I started appreciating the perks of digital content. There's pros and cons to both.
I wish they offered a limited edition like they did last time. Steelbook case, art book, physical disc and some goodies in a slipcase. That was just perfect to me. Would have loved that.

I love Ryan's sense of showmanship. He was clearly having a blast during this video, and I especially love how he reacted to seeing Mjolnir and treated it like a character rather than an object.
Also, anyone else find it interesting that Faye is represented by a pin and she was referred to as "one of our heroes"? Maybe she'll be playing a bigger part in this game.

Haven’t bought a collectors edition since MW2 and it came with low budget NVGs. Thought that was the coolest thing for the price point.
Both editions were super cool, but I wish they came with the game disc instead of just a code.

A goofy hammer and a few maps And toys I will barely look at once I start playing. No disc is the cherry on the top to give this a hard pass. Man, I sure hope this doesnt mean the game is full of bad decisions like the above. What a wasted opportunity.
Wow I totally missed that it would be digital only. I too prefer to have the disc though I am now equipped to handle a purely digital library. Wonder when they will let preorders begin since I’d assume these additions will run short rapidly.

The trend of not including a physical disk inside a collector edition is horrible. Also the hard cover edition is not available. I'm thinking of buying the basic edition and not waste money on crippled collector edition. Same thing on Horizon Zero Dawn. Anyway, hype for the game!

I know who Rafael is: I discovered him over 12 years ago in the 3D Artist Magazine. He is the character 3D modeler of this franchise and plenty of others.. it’s cool to hear his voice!
While I’m not crazy about everything in here this is how you handle a pre order for a collectors edition. You show people what they’re getting, give them a week to decide and prepare instead of having to rush to get them or hope they find out in time before they all sell out
These are going to pretty much instantly sell out. It's almost better they don't announce it because now people can set up the Bots to buy them all. If they release it when no one knows. Then people can actually buy them because the Bots have not been set up yet.

I was excited to get one of those expensive editions, but after finding out that there are no disc's included, I decided to stick with the regular game in which a physical copy is included.

@@jakee5059 I think that is only the case with Online games. and even then, unless the game has a terrible take, it's on for 5 plus years. No issue there. Take a chill pill and let people enjoy their media the way they wish.
@@Flowereypanda people look at and collect cases for the art etc. The disc is a glorified access key to what in most cases these days is not even the full games data on the disc, requiring a download. No one sees there disc unless it's on it's way from the case to the console disc slot.
@@jakee5059 Right, but in some cases digital is the only option, such as indie games and such, or collections of games that do not have a physical release. As for selling it...well, you'd only get 1/10 of what the shop would sell it for for the longest time now. Just saying, buying digital is a convenience and there are obviously some expected draw backs to that.

I don't normally care about unboxings, but I would totally watch Ryan Hurst unbox a whole bunch of stuff. From the voice, to the enthusiasm, to the descriptions. So great.
For just about a second at 7:11 , you can see a change in character/voice from Ryan to a Calm and reasonable person. Great acting skills.
I struggled this morning.
It was sold out everywhere I looked. (Amazon, Best Buy, Gamestop App, Ps Direct)
But I went to my gamestop store which wasn't open yet. Got my Jotnar!! Ragnarok is upon us.
I have the digital ps5 but before I had steel case games for ps4 love the cases more than the discs so I sold the disc kept the case as a display love that they did that for digital players

If you bought the digital PS5, you were already prepared to have PSN as your only storefront to buy games. This edition makes absolutely zero sense to include a steelbook that people are already thinking of putting up on eBay for $70 because they have no use for it since their copy is digital.

That's most of these collectors editions now. Back then they came with the disc, but now not so much. So many just download games now. Me personally I'm sticking with physical unless there's a game I really want to play, and digital is the only way.
All this work put into these editions… only to not include a disc

The collector's edition and jotnar edition are already made. In a cardboard box ready to ship when they reach release date. The boxes are wrapped in pallets and sitting in a warehouse waiting for the few days before release to be shipped. They won't be opened for the game disc. They would source out manufacturers to make said item then print out codes to be used on release day. The game isn't on disc yet anyway. Those aren't usually done until the last few weeks of the game release. No game developer sit months away from release with a finished game. They work on it all the way up to deadline. Just in case you wonder why they don't have a disc.
i feel like an artbook or journal would have been a nice addition. the soundtrack will be on spotify or youtube anyway.

You know what, not having a disc is kinda nice because I'm not a fan of steelbooks being the only case I have. This allows you to grab the regular version if you wish with the case and throw it on the shelf. Really though there should be a steelbook and a disc in the regular retail case included but unfortunately we aren't that lucky lol

Cara, na minha curta carreira como jornalista de games pude entrevistar alguns caras incríveis (Hironobu Sakaguchi, Sam Lake, Tracy Espeleta...) e um deles foi o Rafael Grassetti, na época ele trabalhava com Mass Effect 2. É emocionante demais ver o quão grande esse cara se tornou! Ele é um talento monstruoso, na época trabalhava pouco com 3D e modelava tudo em argila e gesso! Ele é mt fera!
