So much feelings on this one. Whe you remember, SNK was in the edge of bankrupting in 2000... and they did. They put everything they had in this one. Thank God SNK has been back for some time, but, for a while, this really was their goodbye. "Goodbye Esaka" isn't just goodbye, but also a "Thank You Esaka", for the players that have been with them since KOF 94, or even Fatal Fury, Art of Fighting, Psycho Soldiers, Ikari... and thank you, SNK, for making great memories for me and other passionate players around the world
I must admit I was afraid King of Fighters would disappear in 2000 when the original SNK went bankrupt... but I was soon faced with an infinite fact: KOF is immortal! it's an essence... an emotion and a feeling by itself. This song sums up well the emotions, almost like a perfect piano partiture, that wonderful year and a half I spent playing this game in the arcades, fighting everyone in my city, and the sadness of the closure of a stage in one's life that will never return. It's also the collective soul of the series, the fans and the SNK Band complaining about the closure of the Essence that composes it. Like, how can something aa precious as this be lost?
You could say it was on a small vacation after 2000 lol. 2001 isn't really KOF imo since it has been developed by a 3rd party company and their ideas were quite different from what SNK had with the series.
Wow. My dad used to play this series back in Mexico. He was the one who introduced me to kof and fighting games. I immediately fell in love with the King Of Fighters franchise. There is an arcade in my city that has Kof 2001 and 2002 um and I always try to go there with my dad because I love the bonding experience I have with him while playing kof. He tells me all these stories of how there was always a huge lines of people to play kof at the store and how the money to buy tortillas was used to play kof😂I remember when Kof 12 came out, my uncles and my dad had a whole Kof tournament in the living room and it was so fun to watch and I was like 5 years old. As a HUGE kof fan since Kof 13, I’m sad that I wasn’t alive when KOF 94-2002 came out. wish I was one of you guys that experienced the hype you people had with these games :(. Despite your inability to experience the growth of the series on your own, you were able to spend some cherished times with your father that are unique and precious in there on right. Hold on to those memories. :)

:[
Rayos quiero pensar que fue hermoso
@@jorgealbertohernandezherna2609 lo fue, aun conservo los posters del evento.
good bye ......
good bye ......esaka
good bye......kof
good bye........................snk
Goodbye Esaka and Tears are masterpieces and masterclasses in how to evolve a theme
To think I've been listening to this song for 20 years now... and it's still my favorite version of "Esaka."
His best theme. I'm glad I still have my copy of KoF 2000
This game was my first experience with "2D arcade" fighting games. If I hadn't bought KoF 2000 6 years ago, I wouldn't have played Street Fighter, BlazBlue, Guilty Gear, etc
love this outfit from kyo
I personally prefer his "Tales of Ash" outfit over this one.
Hope this outfit as DLC in KOF15
"Thank you mankind for this music."
By God.
Gawd does not exist, but I'm sure something changes for the better in the Universe every time this song is played.
@@mgm6229 Like in 2000 SNK got bankrupt then after XIII Kyo's original voice actor left as much as I like this music it really feels like a curse to anyone who listens to it
@@isaaciktaile1118 I also miss the late 90s boom in fighting games (not only SNK's, but also Capcom's or Sega's creations). But anyway, each era has its good aspects, as well as its bad ones. The wise thing is to take the positive of each time period.

The King Of Fighters 2000 the last game of the Original SNK Company
Wrong, the former staff returned some years ago, they are working in SNK again. Go to read about Yasuyuki Oda
@@EnriqueVivancoH a lot of people left too
@@tanusrichandra6286 of course, almost 2 decades, but Oda is a very important guy, he also worked in Capcom
@@EnriqueVivancoH He's right, the original SNK (1978 - 2001) ended with KOF 2000.
Yasuyuki Oda's coming back doesn't take away his confirmation.
@@biglui wrong, no just Oda, many other guys from the former team. BTW they were always working around... in other companies. Capcom, SNK and other Japanese companies were always sharing workers. The creator of SF was the same guy that created FF, KOF and other SNK games. You people need to learn more about those companies.
Es un temaso el de kyo Goodbye Esaka QUE BUENA ROLA POR DIOS
Essa musica é de arrepiar. Sensacional.
👍:(

JUST CAME HERE
MAN I FELT LIKE SNK GETTING BANKRUPT AGAIN XD
BUT YEAH

I always find myself coming back to this song. My God the feels I get with this sooooong!
Kyo didn't get his chance but what a badass he is he takes it like a champ
Couldn't agree more. Kyo might be overshadowed by other SNK characters, but no one can deny he's the motherfucking badass of KOF. I would even go as far as to say that Kyo himself is The King Of Fighters
The best song of the 2000's soundtrack.
Good bye esaka me saca lágrimas
Música linda demais, agora volta no KoF Fifhteeeeeeen! Shatter All Expectations!

I'm assuming it's a goodbye to Shinkiro's works during his snk days before moving to capcom.
Kyo is in my opinion the coolest character of kof✌🏻.
June 2020… played this shit after my graduation. This is Kyo’s most badass theme yet.
2:59 my favorite part and my passion.
Esaka FOREVER!

*-Best Fighter Game In History!!!!.*
Its like you are about to start something very crazy and challenging but still you think you can do it;
and it might be the last thing like this you will ever do.
Goodbye Esaka, Seoul Road (KOF96), and Blaze (Samsho 4) are the crown jewels and the excelence point for SNK Sound Team's arranged series.
The last KOF I was play in arcade center, thank you for upload!
What a beautiful song, I love kyo's theme
That feeling when you heard that intro the first time ever.
he’s back in kofxv and he brought this theme
not to necropost but
_uh-oh._
As much as I like the original arcade soundtrack of this game more, Kyo's arranged theme is actually better here.
20 years ago today, the original SNK filed for bankruptcy
The Greatest Bad Omen Song of Fighting Games. We Love Hearing It, But BOY are we AFRAID of it.
I no longer play fighting game but I look a lot of stream video and tournament.
I Hope KOF CV will be succesfull
I honestly think this is much better than tears
Welcome back Esaka
the XIII version was played through all of Reynald's matches at EVO. So damn hype B'|
The best version I heard pretty awesome
Me encanta este tema,es epico.
