I have nothing against lo-fi as I listen to it sometimes, but this is exactly what hardcore lo-fi fans do. Not that all lo-fi music repeats itself but you’d be surprised to how many popular lo-fi songs are out there that just have one chord on repeat.
@@matadeverdoemdenI agree, most pop songs actually have extremely similar chords. Also I noticed I was a bit unclear when I said some Lofi only having one chord on repeat, obviously that’s not the case but if you ever compared some of the most repetitive pop/rock/rap songs you quickly notice that Lofi is just much more straight and linear. However I’m pretty sure Lofi is better off that way because it’s supposed to be calm and still; not spiraling and sparkling the way most classical music does. Can you really imagine somebody dancing to Lofi? I can at least imagine swinging on a rocking chair or a swing to it, but if someone danced to Lofi I’d be extremely confused.
