  • It’s easy to forget that trams once rumbled over tracks across Brisbane, but the memory of these transport glory days remains firmly in the mind of one firefighter for tragic reasons.     Saw that fire from our house at Camp Hill. Went for a drive a few days later to see it. That was the death knell for the trams

      Copper causes green flames

      Copper wire from the lines, probably spools of it located all through the depot

      I believe the tram roof's were copper
