- I'm a road runner, honey
Beep, beep
Beep, beep
Ah, beep, beep
I'm a road runner honey
And you can't keep up with me
I'm a road runner honey
And you can't keep up with me
Come on, let's race
Baby baby, you will see
Here I come
Beep, beep
Move over, honey, let me by
Move over, baby, let this man by
I'm gonna show you, baby
Look out your head
Gonna put some dirt in your eye
Here I go
Oh, yeah, how am I doin'?
Beep, beep
Take my hand, baby
I'm gonna prove to you
That I'm a road running man
I wanna show you something
That I'm the fastest in the land
Now, let me by
Beep, beep
Oh, yeah, you said you're fast
But it don't look like you gonna last
Goodbye, I've got to put you down
I'll see you some day
Baby, somewhere hangin' around
Beep, beep
Beep, beep
Beep, beep
Unbelievable i was 10 years old so this was 1970 but what a tune 😎😎😎😎
I've lost count of how many times I've been here to watch this video, but what am I gonna do? I love the song-- especially this version by the legendary Bo Diddley and I LOVE the Warner Bros cartoons. The Bugs Bunny Road Runner Hour was watched religiously on Saturday mornings. If I could I'd give multiple thumbs up to this video.
Well... Gotta make like the roadrunner for now and run, but I'll be back!
bo's is the best version
I’m gonna be honest this is one of the best songs I have ever heard the instruments are amazing and this is one of my favourite wile e coyote and roadrunner cartoons it’s called fastest with the mostest 1960
I'm surprised there aren't more comments here. This video is AWESOME!!! It's greatness on top of greatness. The great Bo Diddley AND Wil E Coyote and the Roadrunner? I literally have to come back here once in awhile to get my battery recharged. Beep! Beep!
Looney toons not acme
They were the hair brained animators who wanted that stupid coyote to catch the road runner
Meep ! Meep !
When I was serving in the USAF station at Norton AFB, Ca. in the 1980s. I was a telephone linesmen / cable splicer with the 1835th Electronic Installation Squadron, AFCC. We were call the Roadrunners. And we worked at a lot of AF bases in the southwest U.S.. Our squadron patch was a Roadrunner . Love this song. And yes, We seen a lot of roadrunners and coyotes out there.
I Am 66 and I Just Heard this Song for the First Time!
Sweet
I'm 60 and I heard The Who's version many times. I actually thought it was their original. Duh!
One of Master Diddly 's Best !
A really cool fun fact... this was the song that Keith Moon played to The Who when he first ever met Pete, Roger and John at a gig in the early 60’s.
If anyone in this comments section knows what I’m talking about please get back to me :)
Hello everyone, I'm 14 and I'm here from Absolute Radio 60s and the book Christine by Stephen King 😃
Be welcome. 😎
Una joyita de Bo Diddley
Here from a new show on Hulu. Lmao.
Had this on cassette in the mid-80's when I had my Vitamin C Orange '72 Road Runner.
The best cartoon of all the time and for ever.
Thak you Bo for the music.
Go to see the performance of Aerosmith in the same song.
