I watched this song at the live show on Saturday. When Su- sat on the throne and started singing it, and I saw it on the big screen, I thought for a second that the 'Alien Queen' was singing it, lol. Thank you from Japan!

I love this song since the first time I listened to it and fellow kitsunes who attended to the shows last weekend are reporting that the live performance was an amazing experience. They opened both shows with this song (same setlist, actually). So, it's the concept album introductory piece and the new show opener. I can't wait to experience it myself... but I have to wait a few more months.

This song really rides on the power of Su’s vocals and she was radiant at Makuhari.
Imagine the visuals opening song in a big arena , thousands of fans chanting. Su coming up sat on a huge throne made up of metsl arms holding swords upwards and foxs as the arms of thrones . Dont imagine it happened last weekend . #notacult 😁🦊🤘🏼🦊

Good reaction - but you can never know what to expect when you listen to a BABYMETAL song for the first time.
'Metal Kingdom' is the first track on the album and it seems they have gone for an anthemic, epic sound for the intro song. We saw at the weekend that carried through to becoming the big, theatrical epic show opening too.🤘🦊🤘

Glad to see you're back with another new BM single.
They did it again with this epic anthem as the perfect opener for this new album and live concerts, prior to this all the tracks were already teased with the full titles, can't wait for Time Wave and also Light and Darkness which was premiere during last concerts yesterday and the day before, but so far all the songs sounds really good.
SuMetal did a wonderful job with her vocal range in this one and MoaMetal too with her backing chorus.
I'm getting FDTD vibes from this song and totally love it, is one of my favorites, but also I'm getting some Within Temptation vibes with the symphonic touch, another band that I love. Wait to see the live version is even more epic, it'll hit you in another way, SuMetal, the girls and a lot of more "soldiers" are holding a sort of spear or trident, is like they're letting the METAL KINGDOM come.🙌

(1) DDM was performed by original BM and another new BM unit wearing old BM costume with red color skirt. Apparently SuMetal's doppelganger was played by Miko Todaka from Sakura Gakuin (same group they all come from).

Another highlight was at Monochrome, during the bridge SuMetal ask everyone to raise their smartphone and said something like this:

"Yes! It's so beautiful! This one too!"
She was also humming throughout this section. It was really beautiful.
I think someone mentioned they were doing sound check and rehearsing with Time Wave and another song i don't remember right now.
A new teaser about THE ONE reborn was released.
My two cents theory is the new BM mirror unit coming from another world of this metalverse, is gonna be used in between performance (just like Black Babymetal back then) to play older BM kawaii songs, such CMIYC or Iine!, as well to give the girls a break time, but like always OTFGK.
Also new member will be announced as an official member, most likely Momoko, during the new live shows BABYMETAL BEGINS at PIA Arena MM Yokohama in Fox Day.

I experienced it yesterday in Makuhari... it was awesome 😁 it was like the colors that had been taken away by the pandemic were instantly restored to us 😭 we all screamed loudly together! We all responded to her voice, shoulder to shoulder with the crying men and raised our hands in the air, it's a great opening 😊I want you to bring HAPPY METAL to the world 😁.
Babymetal is back and the world is starting to feel right again.

I believe if it was not blocked already, you have now listened to enough babymetal where you can now experience babymetal death legend 1997...you should be ok...probably.
🤘🦊🤘 The chanty bits are a bit long. We all anticipate this being a big sing along in live shows and written with that in mind. It's also the first song on the album so it's maybe a little reserved, as it's more or less an introduction to the vibe of the concept album. Still sweeping and epic. And as I seem to be the first one here, here's the lyrics I was able to find. It's not their hardest song, but it's pretty fuckin cool.
