thanks for the information, i saw it too, i was gonna grab it but thought, "Wait for power up clay first, i knew you'd do something on this, thank you for saving me money!
Aww haha sweet! :D you’re super welcome!! I’m definitely gonna be doing more clay reviews! This clay was just way too hard, making it pretty much unusable 😵💫

😱 I bought this Clay about one or two months ago. The blue one was ok to condition but the other colors were more difficult. I think this Clay responds better when it’s warmer. The next challenge is to bake it… if you follow the instructions it will be under baked. You have to bake it at a higher temperature. At the end I got to make a Bluey figurine but it was too much effort…
Oh wow that’s super interesting!! I’m glad you had some luck with the blue. I didn’t even get to the baking step 😹 That sounds like a whole other dilemma I would’ve ran into! At least your bluey came out awesome 🩵
Unreal how these brands have become monopolies holding good clay hostage for 2oz scraps at $3+. This problem is so pervasive, I remember a forum a while back with desperate crafters trying to share ideas on recreating their own homemade polymer clay. Not porcelain clay! Real polymer clay. There’s an unknown video floating around here on RUclips from the early days with someone attempting a recipe they created using plastisol inks and kaolin clay. The person ran a blog talking more about it, but passed away a few years ago and it is no longer updated. But someone out there has got to compete with these polymer monopolies. They have had it too good for way too long.
Oh WOW that’s so interesting, I never thought of it like that! Although I will say Craftsmart Polymer Clay from Michaels is a great clay priced at just $1.79 per bar! It can be a little too soft depending on the batch so ofc testing it with a squeeze helps.
Yeah I’ve considered trying it and it is pretty pricey! I mainly like to shop in store for my clay and even though hobby lobby has it, they only carry it about 4 colors 😵
@PowerUpClay point taken! 😋 Hey, I've been wanting to ask, when you stick toothpicks into the foil, how do you keep the foil from spinning or coming right off when you start adding clay?
@ so for now, I put a tinyyyy bit of super glue gel on the toothpick so it won’t spin but sometimes it sticks too much and it can be tricky to remove it off the toothpick. That’s kinda why I don’t show it lol 😝
@PowerUpClay Ah-ha! ☝️ I knew there had to be a trick! 😊 Thanks for taking the time to share that with me! I tried to make a Pikachu yesterday and it just kept spinning on the toothpick.. 😵💫😅 it was fairly challenging and well, let's just say Pikachu is... "unfinished" lol 🙃😋 Anyway, thanks again! ✌️❤️👍
We tried this too and didnt like it. Walmart also sells a cheaper one called Bake Shop and it is much better (softer). see if your walmart has bake shop and try it!
Aw yeah, sorry to hear that lol. But yeah that Bake Shop clay seems great!! My location didn’t have many left or I would’ve reviewed it as well. It’s certainly a good soft consistency from what I could tell! Thanks for the suggestion 😊✌️
OOP NOT ME BEING MENTIONED IN THE VIDEO🤭 but yeah oml that clay is TRASH 😭 the other sculpey bake shop clay that is also in walmart is WAYYYYYY better than that garbage, u should like totally review that next🌚🌚
YUPPPPPP!!! Thanks for suggesting/warning me about this clay! 🤭 I can tell that bake shop clay is very promising, they sold out at my local store or I would have reviewed it by now 😭 hopefully soon ✌️
Yeah! I came across that Bake Shop clay too and wanted to review it but there was almost no colors left haha! Thanks so much for the recommendation. It seems like it would work great from how soft it feels.
@@PowerUpClay Also, something subtle I noticed regarding the wrapping... there seems to be too much air within the Walmart clay bags, and while you're showing us the recommended clay, there's very little air taking up the interior. I think that's another problem.
Women 🤦🏽 I literally bought this clay today and all you have to do is barely wet your hands, then knead the clay. That's common sense, I mean it's clay...
@@TheSkyGod6 😹 UM NO! Water does absolutely nothing for polymer clay. There are clay conditioners on the market that may help but those are made from oil. Water only works with air dry clay etc

I found this clay a while ago and got really excited, big mistake. The only thing it’s good for is carpal tunnel
it’s true!! 😹 I wouldn’t have bothered reviewing it but I was also excited for Walmart to be carrying a Polymer Clay! Lol

Why was it actually so terrible omg 💀
I know right 😭😭😭 lol
Hey, I'm curious if a little bit of clay softener would help? 🤔 Love your stuff btw! ✌️❤️
Probably, but working that into the crumbliness would take forever 🙀

If you didn’t hear it = I didn’t cuss 🤭
lol, actually though I did not.
I just said “HEH-“ and put a silly sound for comedic effect.
