Except for moving the jaw, that's something she chose (You know, like Whitney Houston with the vibrato) What I could notice about Ariana in this presentation is that she is depressed and tired. We can see that she doesn't feel good... therefore, due to the lack of rest and possibly crying (which can swell our vocal cords) is trying to compensate the effort by lifting the neck, and pushing the notes. Also, being a fan of her, I can tell the difference in this performance compared to the others she has done. Her voice is much cleaner and more powerful when she is well.
I also thought that could be because of the whistle note excersizes, I mean she just started doing them. So her vocals could be damaged. But i hope some one/thing stopst these anxiety attacks (or herself) , love her so much 😍😍

Im too ill right now or since oct 2017 to go to singing lessons. Ive had off and on lessons for 2.5 year. But i still cant really sing. I feel my friend who is my teacher too doesnt understand what i do, so what i do wrong. Now i think my issue is im losing very quick my voice. I sing mostly in mixed voice. I cant sing in full chest voice an a4. And i can go high as c6 or d6. But its very thin. And like hurts me To make words i dont come further i think then f or g5. So i never sang till i was 28 or 29. I was told as a kid i couldnt sing so i believed that. But i love it so much. I just hate it that even if a tenor guy sings i have to switch i cant sing it in chest full voice. I couldnt make it clear to my coach. She didnt know what i did where.. So now i feel like i started singing in the car. With my fav songs. Then my 2th dad driving joined in. Thats how it all started. We always sing in car. Mostly to hospital now But i want to be able to sing healthy normally and know what the heck im doing (wrong) and how to change it...
