I have walked the various Camino routes five times. To anyone contemplating walking it, use this poor woman's mistakes as a lesson on not what to do.
Her pack is too large and too heavy. Is obvious just by looking at it. Don't carry a heavy pack. It should not weigh more than around 20 lbs, even during the colder months on the Camino. During the summer months? Ten pounds, tops and that's with water included. You really need to carry very few things when you walk the Camino. It's not austere, primitive, second or third world or even a real backpacking hike for that matter.
Also, have some level of fitness before you start. You are going to be walking around 15-25 (9-15 miles) kms everyday. Trust me, you can't depend upon it to get you in shape if you can't walk it in the first place. She doesn't appear to me to have trained in advance.
Lastly, if you just can't walk that far everyday with a pack, then have a transport service haul your pack ahead of you everyday, and if you have to, lower your daily distance. It's not a competition.
