And how many customers could even sharpen a cross cut, never mind cut them accurately, once they had bevelled the plate?
My school, woodwork teacher, T A Pringle worked all his working life on Liverpool Anglican Cathedral. When he retired he came and taught in Birkenhead School. I took my great grandad's saws in and he showed me how to sharpen them, but I am talking the 1960's.
