Nice congrats how long is the course? I might so this after i finish my current 20 week course. I want to learn more new stuff and the HONEYNET / SOC (COURSE LAB). Looks interesting and how was the internship did that happen dieinf rhe course or afterwards?
I always send people to Josh course or RUclips channel when it comes to cybersecurity. I need to get him on my channel at some point. Were both too busy lol. Great video.
Congratulations, Edgar! You and I had a practice interview the day before your actual interview. I'm glad to see you landed the job, and are now able to help others as well!
I just passed my Sec + this week May 28th 2024. I scored a 832 and still plan on studying because it's so in depth man. I want to be really good currently learning hands on Proofpoint, SentinelOne, Crowdstrike, next is Qdar then last might be Splunk. The final of the unbootcamp is Soc challenge day, career services classes, mock interviews then Juky 11 Graduation.
Congrats! You have a role in IT already? Currently 2 years as Network Admin at small agency, so doing lots of vulnerability management. Got my Google CS Professional Cert ... Taking my sec+ in 7 days... Then Blue Team Level One 30 days after. Then no studying for at least a month lol Saw your post and decided to put in another hour today✊
Just a word of advice: Most enterprises will use either SentinelOne (S1) or CrowdStrike (CS), typically not both. Choose one (could be based on your target company/role), and specialize in it. Most AV/EDR solutions are the same. I personally favor S1, but CS is more popular.
Bs in cyber 2 years as helpdesk couldn't get a job in cyber here in the NJ/NYC area, going to purchase your course and see if it will help me, thanks for the video
Hello Josh, quick question: I am from Lima Peru (Latin American), do you think your cybersecurity course could be useful for me to work remotely in the US from Peru? Do the companies there take it into consideration?
I will be graduating in December and I realized that the knowledge acquired from college might not end me a cyber security job in SOC. Any advice for me please?
Man! I just admit I made a mistake! I def should have signed up for your course instead. I ended up going with another RUclipsrs courses because I caught it on sale but I def should have grabbed yours for sure. Next sale I’m on it! I’m a federal police officer with a high level security clearance and currently studying for my security +. I’m looking to get into the Gov tech space and leverage my clearance for a better job. Def appreciate your videos and all the free knowledge you countinue to provide 👍🏾
So if I have zero experience, will buying this course get me a pretty good chance in getting into a entry level IT or CS job? Or should I try and get the top 3 Comptia certs first or any other education before I job hunt? Any advice will help!
Oh yeah, I was wondering the same. Of course you can say that scrum master isn't necessary someone with tech knowledge, but I guess this is something that looks very attractive on resumes, especially when it comes to soft skills. Am I wrong?
I know your comment is a month old but please get your security +. It allows HR to know that you have the aspects of security down and when they see this on your resume, they will move you up the list. People that don’t have this cert and if it is required for the job; they will literally move your resume to the automatic rejection mail server to send you that rejection letter. I’ve seen this and this has happened to me numerous times. Also make sure you have projects showcasing your work and how to explain it during your interview.
Hi Josh I dropped from Harvard university it’s extension school in software engineering/ web development full stack course and I prefer to pursue in cybersecurity career. Please give me steps into your courses to also graduate faster in WGU Cybersecurity degree. Thanks

He came in with certifications then did Josh’s course that included the portfolio of projects. That’s what got him hired
How does active directory help you as a SOC Analyst?
Can I get into GRC after doing your internship program? Do you teach it in your program?
Thank you!
What is that frankestein stuff he said?
