I went to the same HS as Lee Harvey Oswald and actually had the same physics teacher. I had a theory that since she was a horrible teacher and was at the parade, he tried to shoot her but missed and accidentally shot JFK.

Interestingly, Dr. Earl Rose, the Dallas County Coroner, was not allowed to perform an autopsy on JFK in Dallas. Dr. Rose had performed many autopsies in his career, including victims of gunshot wounds, so he would have done a highly professional examination of the president's wounds. leading to a much better understanding of the number and trajectory of the shots. Dr. Rose did perform the autopsies on Lee Harvey Oswald and Jack Ruby, and his findings have never been disputed.
They have explained that at the time they didn't know how many people were involved in the killing of Kennedy and they didn't know what might happen if they stayed in Dallas - they just wanted to get the hell out of there and back to Washington in one piece.

It was because initially, they had no idea if Oswald was alone. They needed to act in-house because they couldn't trust anyone. After all, a world leader was just killed by a gunman in a very public area.

Joe Kennedy was involved with the mafia he convinced the mafia and the teamsters to vote JFK into the presidency.
Lyndon B Johnson was involved with the mafia,he was involved with the Texan oil barons on who had a marksman working for him which was supposed to be the one on the grassy knoll.
Bobby Kennedy was soon to prosecute Johnson with the connection to the mafia.
Back in the 2000s there was a show of some guys testing shots on ballistics gel dummies where all the shots were taken from Oswald's position. One of the shots they took threw the dummy head back and to the left just like with JFK. I've personally done some shooting on private property and we were shooting all kinds of things like paint cans, soda cans, golfballs, watermellons and whatnot. You'd be surprised what direction things fly when they're shot. Many times it's not the direction the bullet was flying in. The "back and to the left" argument is one of the weakest forms of evidence in my opinion.
I saw the documentary and recall the work done to show how the rifle and its ammunition explain the events.
They were able to show that the trajectory of the so-called magic bullet, which was not pristine and had been flattened slightly, was the result of the seating arrangement in the car.
I also recall that a round fired from the grassy knoll with a Carcano would have passed through President Kennedy and would likely have killed his wife.
I also recall that Oswald could have purchased a semi-automatic M1 Garand from the same magazine he purchased the Carcano from if he'd only had enough money.
Yeah, it ignores a couple things. Technically his head went forward first a little before going backwards. Also, it ignores that he had neck muscles that could contribute. But mostly, it ignores that the "stuff" (man it is brutal to even talk about) went out of the front side of his head as it would. I've never seen anything to convince me he was shot from any direction except from behind.

The blood splatter on the car seats would have determine which direction the bullets came from, why the secret service wiped the seats technically a crime scene only they would know
Couple of things to remember here; there was actually a first shot that missed Kennedy; they believe it hit the light pole, but everyone in the car remembers hearing three shots. With that in mind, John Connolly was turning to his right to look at Kennedy and the origin of the sound; this is why he was hit with the second shot near his right armpit and then shattered his ribs. It’s also important to remember that the second shot which passed through Kennedy upper trapezius and just grazing the spinal column passed through only 6-8 inches of mostly soft 6:51 tissue; which means the bullet still had tremendous velocity and was able to easily hit Connolly and do all of that damage. And regarding the fatal headshot to Kennedy; remember Newtons law of equal and opposite reaction - so if a missile (bullet) is moving at massive speeds and hits an object and once it exits that object, it has the effect of a rocket engine forcing the object in the opposite direction of the bullets trajectory.
51:29 Here’s the problem with this “puff of smoke ON THE GRASSY KNOLL” non-sense. Even in the 1960’s we weren’t using muskets or black powder rifles. You don’t see little “puffs of smoke” with modern day fire arms. Just stop and think for one second. This idea is absolutely ludicrous. If “puffs of smoke” were a thing we’d be able to pin snipers down instantly. But its not a thing, and so there is no way in Hell a “puff of smoke” means a firearm unless somebody was using a black powder musket or rifle.

I'd recommend that everyone interested in this also watches a video by Ask a Mortician (Caitlin doughty) about what happened to Kennedy's body afterwards. It's really interesting and the autopsy/transportation of his body was insanely suspicious.

Not only does Caitlin explain the detailed actions of those involved in the aftermath, she explains the origins of why various security measures, regulations, and protocols were beefed up regarding presidential secret service.

I’ve lived in the Dallas area 30 years, driven Elm Street dozens of times, took Texas History in school and never heard most of this. The Dictabelt tape was new to me, as well as any serious consideration of a second shooter.
By the way, the Dictabelt machine was _not_ on the motorcycle, but at HQ. It was one of the dumbest mistakes I've ever heard in any 'documentary'. I had to reply the passage to make sure Simon wasn't making a joke.
The cop's radio transmissions were patched into the HQ recorder.
Reanalysis if that tape showed it was made AFTER the assassination.. police cross talk captured on the tape confirmed this. The "expert" acoustic analysts were totally wrong - it wasn't gun shot noise on the tape.
Dictabelt recording was debunked more than 40 years ago.
54:16 Here’s the problem with this theory. The acoustic analysis is done assuming the recording position did NOT move. What are the chances that the man with the motorcycle didn’t jump off his bike and let it fall over OR wheel it around to escape the area once gunshots were heard? This means 3 shots could have been recorder from one acoustic point with a 4th being HEARD from a different location/orientation. I haven’t seen any evidence that they took this into account when analyzing the acoustic data. ALso, its possible there were three shots and the fourth “shot” was the dictabelt hitting the ground.

If not mistaking, the 60 year old assassin trapped in a 10 year old's body is a reference to the tv series / comic books Umbrella Academy. One of their season storylines takes places around the assassination of JFK.

In the Umbrella Academy Number Five is the "second shooter" they inserted him in various real world historical events that had strange circumstances this was one of the big ones he did though he was an old man when he did it in the show he got trapped in the child's body directly after that incident

In the Marine Corps there are three levels of marksmanship. From lowest to highest they are Marksman (meeting the bare minimum to qualify), Sharpshooter( an average shooter) and Expert (These are the shooters who could make the shot on Kennedy) I’ve always questioned if Oswald hit him at all, but even a blind squirrel can find a nut. However, he just wasn’t that good of a shot.
Oswald’s alleged shots weren’t that impressive. I’ve done quite a bit of rifle shooting and I’ve been in that depository window (it’s a museum now). The range is surprisingly short, and the limo was moving directly downrange with no lateral movement to account for. Minimal wind, perfect visibility, just great conditions all around. It’s just a really standard shot that any decently experienced marksman could nail on most attempts. I don’t think that the possibility of the shots is an argument against Oswald as the primary shooter, though it doesn’t answer the question of who put him up to it and then had Ruby kill him
You’ve got to remember that even Marksman is a higher level of shooting than standard US Army marksmanship.
In addition to that Oswald was shooting at less than 100m away from a supported position.
I believe the headshot was lucky but I have no doubt that Oswald had enough skill to place 6 shots in the approximate area needed to strike the president.

@@codygooch510 A moving target with a bolt action rifle for a mediocre marksman is not conducive for a successful operation. He shot but he had help for the first kill shot.
Warren commission had army marksman test the rifle who had to shim the scope it was so bad. Could not get it to hold zero at all. They also mentioned the action was so poor that in order to load new rounds it would jerk the sight picture off target.

My grandparents drove from Shreveport to Dallas (3 hours) to see JFK. My grandparents waited all morning and right after the car turned onto elm they heard what they thought were firecrackers and then screams. They were about 30-40 feet from the car when it happened. The pictures make it look like they were closer though. Luckily my grandmother had bent down to pick up my mom's shoe so she didn't see it. My grandfather had seen it and his first instinct was to take my 1-year-old mom off his shoulders and lay on top of both of his wife and daughter and then pulled them out of the crowd. My mom has no memory of it since she was so young.
Here's a fun fact: My uncle was conceived the day JFK was assassinated. He was born on August 28th 1964.
I turned 10 the day after the assassination, JFK was supposed to come to Austin after Dallas, they were letting us out of school early for the parade. They still let us out of school early...

At the time my father was an foreign service officer (State Department) stationed in Japan. I remember the day because it was the first time I saw him cry. When I asked him why, he said “they shot the president”. Then, since I was only three years old, he had to explain who the president was. The funny thing is that years later he told me he thought Kennedy was soft on communism and a terrible president. The reason he was crying was not that Kennedy was killed, but that he thought the incident would destroy people’s trust in the government, which it did. MLK and Bobby were just icing on the cake. Add in things like the pentagon papers, watergate, the church commission, and all the crap since, and at any given time, about half the population hates the administration in power, and is willing to believe any bad thing they hear without applying any critical thought to it. It doesn’t matter who killed Kennedy. It matters what effect it had. The man died 60 years ago. Any person involved is now either dead or in a nursing home waiting to die. They had their motive (the classic mice (money, ideology, conscience, ego)), but there were a LOT of unintended consequences. As an example, Kennedy had already stated that he didn’t want conventional forces in Vietnam. He had also stated privately that other than the propaganda benefits of the moon landing, the government had no interests in space, and it should be turned over to private industry. These are just two examples. How many other things that happened over the next 60 years would habe been different if Americans hadn’t had their optimism beat over and over with a stick?
This and MLK are the two conspiracies where I genuinely think the doubt and the motivation is there. Plenty of people, powerful people, wanted both dead and it seems plausible that they may have been involved.

@@peterfraser9070 aka a professional hitman carrying out the perfect crime. Time magazine bought the Zepruder film for a lot of money and only showed a few still photos never the full video. When it eventually came out, that’s when polls swung against the official narrative. There’s also evidence of tampering which the technicians at the lab have come out and told there stories which are interesting, and they didn’t know of each other’s work, even though one was in charge as it was a Kodak lab, so a private company, but the most advanced at the time.

What makes me so angry about this investigation is the fact that no one took Ed Hoffman seriously.

Back in ‘99 I happened upon the book “Mortal Error: The Shot That Killed JFK” and now nothing can change my mind about the events of that day.

All of the weirdness goes away if Oswald was actually a CIA operative. Especially the "blow up the FBI and Dallas PD" part. If he was CIA he could have figuratively "blown up" the two agencies for harrassing a CIA agent and almost blowing his cover.

The question to ask is WHY were they so intent on selling the lone gunman theory. Perhaps because the law says that if there was a ‘conspiracy ’ multiple shooters, then they could convene a grand jury. If that happened, some very important people would have had to answer a lot of very uncomfortable questions.
Yep. Unfortunately, the main conspirator passed away almost a decade or so ago. Politicians cared more about his payoffs and funding, then they did about the pres. he had murderered.

Because they were embarrassed about the actual truth: that secret service agent George Hickey accidentally shot the President in the head while attempting to return fire to Oswald
I think Simon touched on the most likely theory for this in the episode, they didn’t know who the other guy was and they really didn’t want to be the ones who let someone who killed a president get away.
There’s a man named Garrison, he was the New Orleans DA back in the 70’s. He convened a grand jury and brought charges against Clay Shaw for conspiracy to kill JFK. He was vilified and slandered by the media and the government. They did a really good job of slandering him and the case at the time.

I have followed this conspiracy theory closely for over 4 decades, and I used to be a believer. Over time, I've become a believer in the lone gunman. The more you know about the ballistics, the more you realize the single-bullet theory is not really a stretch, and LHO's shot was a very easy one. If you visit Dallas, you'll be shocked at how close everything is. A shooter couldn't have shot from the knoll, because everyone would have noticed. The best indisputable evidence of a conspiracy is: LHO was handing out pro-Castro flyers with a phony stamped address, which was actually home to a severely right-wing anti-Castro group. As a teenager, LHO was in a boy scouts type of group with a pedophile group leader who worked closely with these anti-Castro people, and trained people for the Bay of Pigs invasion. No one ever heard Ruby utter a single word in favor of JFK prior to the assassination. The government never publicly identified the men who were helping LHO hand out literature in New Orleans, though they were photographed. The best evidence in favor of a lone gunman: LHO was deeply disturbed since childhood--his mother was an absolute narcissistic psychopath. He behaved dramatically just before the killing (ie: leaving his wife his wedding ring.) There is no evidence beyond LHO's three bullets; surely a shooter from a different angle would have left fragments. LHO got the job, before the parade was planned, he got it purely by happenstance, and his boss assigning him to that building was also happenstance. It wasn't his first lone assassination attempt, having almost killed Edwin Walker. My best guess? LHO killed JFK as a lone nut, but CIA had the mob kill LHO because they were afraid he would reveal his connection to them, the anti-Castro groups, and CIA efforts to get the mob to kill Castro and restore mob control over Cuba,
To me, the best evidence is the fact that LHO attempted to murder another political figure, with the same rifle, only a few months earlier, and then murdered a police officer directly after kiling Kennedy.
I, too, began as a believer. I read ALL the conspiracy books, and was obsessed with finding the "truth" of 11/22/63.
It was, ironically, first going to Dealy Plaza that got me to start asking questions about the conspiracy theory itself. As you said, it's a small area, and the shot wouldn't be all that difficult to make, contrary to all of the narratives. Once I realized that talking point was nonsense, I started to investigate the rest of them. Realizing that "the magic bullet" was a total invention was a pretty big shocker, too.
The more you objectively learn about the JFK assassination, the more you realize that the official story is, as uninteresting as it may be, almost certainly reality.

Totally agree with you about the supposed Grassy Knoll shooter theory. There were perhaps 20-30 people on the overpass, on the knoll itself and people behind the picket fence. Anybody shooting from that area would have been noticed by many, many people; but alas not a single person has ever stated that. And nobody would even attempt that because there is no concealment of their position - on the other hand, Oswald had the best concealment possible. Hidden within a building.
thats quite believable reason for CIA to kill Oswald (via Ruby). At that time it could work. But there is no more threat from Cuba or Castro anymore, so they would have explained it like this long time ago. Nobody did it, why? Public would understand it and take it! Documents are continously being opened to public, none of documents supported what you are saying.

It came out about 10 years ago that congress or some govt. entity agreed there was a 2nd shooter. Think it was based on our current technologies ability to analyze the acoustics way better than they could in 64. And when presented with this evidence they conceded there had to be a 2nd shooter. Yet to this day I cannot find that article again. It was buried on somewhere like page 12 of the Salt Lake Tribune. A small insignificant paragraph is all the space it received, which I considered odd. Anyone else read something to this effect?
You are referring to the HSCA in the 1970's, which was all set to conclude Oswald acted alone until those acoustics experts came forward almost at the last minute with their dictabelt recording... which was subsequently investigated and found to be erroneous and invalid as evidence. This was soundly debunked more than 40 years ago. There is no audio recording of the assassination.

But here there are many problems with your "man in my family." For one, why Nagasaki? Hiroshima happened and he went "nah, that was not me," but then Nagasaki happened and that was the moment he realized? What exactly did he do with explosives that would equate to the same level of work that the Mahattan Project required? If he was smart enough to be developing a new type of explosive, he was smart enough to know what those explosives would have been used for. Sure, the Manhattan Project was a secret to the public, but if he was developing it, he would have had some idea for its final destination: bombs, being made during a war, kill.
As a historian, you learn very quickly that compartmentalization does not exist at the caliber conspiracy theorists require it to be at. You learn very quickly that when a secret becomes too big, it spills quite easily. Hell, look at the Holocaust, which you could argue was supposed to be compartmentalized. Not many of the lower level soldiers, let alone the citizens, knew exactly what was going on in the camps, yet what was happening was so quickly spread that even the U.S. knew it was happening before World War 2 even reached its peak. Humans are horrible at keeping secrets. Even organizations that were supposed to keep their jobs a secret, like the Stasi, eventually came to light.
The problem with conspiracy theorists or those that push these narratives is that you assume history transitions from event to event with the help of grand plans. The idea that a single man can change history (ex. the assassination of Archduke Franzferdinand, the assassination of JFK) never seems plausible to you people. A man murders his wife? No big deal. A man murders a president in broad daylight without any protection? Well, that's impossible. JFK was not the first president to be assassinated, and if the U.S. continues for centuries, he surely will most likely not be the last. Individuals can change history just as easily as conspiracies conspired by large governments and organizations.

I've never thought that Oswald worked alone but I've also never assumed there was a massive, huge conspiracy. When I finally went to Dallas and visited the Grassy Knoll and Book Depository, I was like "dude, I could make that shot. I've shot rabbits with my .22 at that distance." So I watched a few documentaries about the JFK assassination and the one thing that they have consistently deduced is that if there was a second shooter, they probably weren't on the grassy knoll. The picture that everyone uses as evidence would require the person to be something like 16 feet tall and the angle doesn't line up with the information we have. But most of them consistently agree that a second shooter is more likely than one, but none of them could full on rule out a single shooter either. They moreso lined up with, if all these specific circumstances were true then one shooter could have done it, but two shooters is way more likely

One of the weirdest experiences I ever had in school was that, of all people, my Middle School PE teacher was the one who showed me (and my class) the Zapruder Film. To this day, I have never figured out why he was the one to show it to a bunch of 8th graders instead of a history teacher (or if he was supposed to show it to us at all).
We will probably never know the full truth, even if Oswald was the lone shooter( which i don't think he was), there was a lot of people in the government who created that scenario/scene for it to be able to happen. Everything about the incident points to powerful people standing by and letting it happen.

The car President Kennedy was shot in is in a museum near Detroit, Michigan. In 2021 my nephew (12 yo at the time) and I went to the museum for a day out and because things were just starting to open up after lock down it was pretty empty throughout the entire building. As we walked, looking at the different presidential cars, my nephew was trying to peek into the back seat of this one and I asked him what he was looking for. And, in the yelling whisper that most pre-teen boys have, he replied "President Kennedy was shot in this car, I wanted to see if I could see brains". A guard near by snort laughed, a Karen in her mid 40's gasped and gave him a dirty look. I told him "I am thinking they cleaned it up back in the 60's, but double check!!". It was very cool to see the history they had there. They also had the bus that Rosa Parks sat down on, and the chair President Lincoln was sitting in when he was shot. The Lincoln chair used to be in one of the kind of Colonial buildings near the gates when I was little. And it's been reupholstered multiple times because of souvenir hunters, before it moved to an I think bulletproof glass case (been a paint bloodstain since I think the 1940s.) I touched it during the late 1970s.
Last saw the Kennedy car and Lincoln chair about 10 years ago. Whatever Henry Ford was, his love of collecting history was great.

With regard to keeping secrets-- telling someone involved with a project to "keep it secret or we'll take out you and your entire family" is one thing... but actually taking out that person and their entire family is about the least secret and most public thing that could occur. In fact, you could probably start with a list of people whose entire families vanished all at once and pretty much work backwards to figure out who was involved.

This reminds me of the crazy unsolved case, I don't remember all the details but there was like a fire and a bunch of the kids disappeared. It happened in the middle of nowhere. I think Simon actually did a video about the case. I only remember sparse details. It was like a farm house, there was like a sedan that had been watching the house for a couple days, there was a fire, the dad ran to get their ladder to go up to the kids room but it was already placed up to the kids room, the fire was too intense to go in to get the kids, and after the house burned down there were 3 or 4 of the kids bodies missing. I think their phone lines had also been cut and they found a grenade in the grass outside of the house.

If I were to guess "Why" people believe it (playing arm chair psychologist) There might be a few reasons. Not all applied to everyone, not only one will be a factor. One is Social Influence, if you're raised in an area that is more... brash... you could hear it from acquaintances and older people. Another could be, wanting a scape goat still. Just as some people believe they should be given something for nothing, they could feel "attacked" by them(jews and others targeted in the holocaust" So it could be their demented way to "justify" their hate or fits their agenda another way. Having done process design and looking at points of failure professionally, I find a lot of these being so mysterious has a lot to do with people trying to cover their own asses after something goes horribly wrong. It's more people not wanting to admit they f'd up big time than it is a conspiracy.

Look at all the permutations:
1) Oswald was involved and had orders from a covert agency to shoot the president- at the same time they also gave orders to others to do the same (and then let Oswald be blamed).
2) Oswald was involved and he knew there were others that will also shoot the president.
3) He was not involved at all and he was simply blamed because he worked in the Depository building, had a gun and he was a USSR sympathizer.
4) He was involved and he was the only shooter.
I think we can eliminate 4 easily because there are 2 many things that seem unlikely. In particular the autopsy, finding an extra bullet what was not damaged (see recent revelation by secret service agent that found this bullet in the back of the car seat), the fact that WWII gun he used was not very good at all and so on.
The kid assassin is an Umbrella Academy reference. Dallas 1963 is a nonfiction book on the assassination. Steven King's novel is 11/22/63 (which is being added to my booklist). And while making threats to the FBI / CIA / government officials will get you on a watch list, there are still plenty of warnings that get ignored.
11/22/63 was one of his best.

On the video: I have personally been to the Dallas Book Depository. Inside you’re ipso facto told it was a conspiracy create for nefarious purposes. Soooo. Yeah. My partner of the time brought me for my birthday during a hurricane evacuation. Life in Nola people. It was amazing. It was educational. It is authentic. There are a myriad of exhibits you can spend an easy half hour just reading about over and over again.
As a Texan, I've been through Daily Plaza a couple of times, and the last time was on the 50th anniversary, and it was spooky.

I just finished listening to the podcast "The sun of a Hitman". It was about the life of Charles Harrison, Woody's father, who was convicted of killing a Supreme Court Justice. It was quite the head explosion - literally an explosion caused by the bullet bursting apart, so there's no way that debris wouldn't go flying in all directions - including back.
But let's face it, the Connallys always said they were covered in you-know-what, and so was the front of the car.

Citizenship - I was born in England (with English parents). Over time the family emigrated to Canada and then the USA. At the time of President Kennedy's assassination I was in school in Denver.
Time passed .... Eventually I was 18 and decided to enlist in the US Marines. Part of the process was starting the application for me to become a US Citizen. By asking around I found out that taking US citizenship did NOT mean I would automatically lose my UK citizenship. So I became, and still am, a person with dual citizenship. I have since found found out that it it depends on the laws of the countries. By US law, taking the Oath of Allegiance means renouncing any other citizenship. But under UK law, that did not matter. So I would say that "it depends" ...........

I think after watching this whole video, the only thing i have to say is God bless Jackie Kennedy and may she rest in peace with her husband. The world does not give her enough admiration for her ability to not only witness the murder of her husband, but to publicly make a statement two days later. The Kennedy’s have a dark and complicated history, but no human being deserves this.

I mainly think that "conspiracy" theories like this one should just be called theories. Adding conspiracy to it discredits its possible validity. For example hearing "the conspiracy theory that there was a second shooter" vs "the theory that there was a second shooter". One seems a lot more "realistic" than the other.
The *first* shot completely missed everyone, and chipped off a piece of the curb. The fragment of curb slightly injured a bystander.

@dab. yeah, the sound was inconclusive. Witnesses reported different numbers of shots, and there were echos bouncing off of buildings. Also, what they reported seeing wasn't all the same either. This is typical in incidents like it. The fact that really mitigated against a conspiracy was that Oswald went to work there long before the route was even known.

Kilgallen's talks with Ruby were only going to be part of a part of a much larger book on other trails she covered she wasn't planning on publishing for months, hardly an urgent expose. If she possessed any info that was going to blow any conspiracy she was sure in no hurry to do anything with any of it. The HSCA investigated her death and found no evidence for murder.

I was a 8th grade student sitting in biology class when JFK was shot. I remember the school Principle using the intercom to call all the teachers to his office where he told them the news. The teachers returned to their classes and told the stunned students, then school was dismissed for the rest of the day. You would be hard pressed to find a dozen people who firmly believe Lee Oswald acted alone.

The secret service's actions afterwards are super suspicious as well. All the events from getting the body out of Dallas to the autopsy are very questionable. I have heard the theory that the final shot was fired on accident by a secret service member riding behind Kennedy. Definitely worthy of a coverup.

Some of these counter theories are deliberate plants by CIA affiliated writers to confuse the issues. This is one of them. When I started looking into all these theories I believed that one for like a week because I was desperate to hold on to any last narrative that had Oswald shooting from the sixth floor. There was gun residue on his hands(proves nothing since it doesn't tell you exact time of fire.) And fresh palm print too. The Hoover comment is interesting. That's a smoking gun...maybe conspiracy? There's also the anti castro Cubans who said they knew him and had the same handler.

There were many shots some missed ! one silenced shot from the bridge a 22cal went through the wind shield and hit JFK in the throat. One shot from The tex building hit JFK in the back ! If you take an Amtrak from the East Coast to West Coast via the southern route, you pass right through Dallas on the very tracks that run through the plaza. The Amtrak train makes a stop in Dallas. It was really interesting to look outside the window of the train and see a place that you had never been to, but that you recognized because of its historical importance. It was also interesting to know that you are on the tracks associated with the event and the trains the "Hobo"s were on.

Halfway through the video: JFK reportedly wore some type of back brace? Corset device due to some injury he received. People have suggested the reason he doesn't duck after the first shot is because he physically couldn't due to the corset. He didn't like people to know he had to wear it, so very few people actually knew about it's existence. His doctor apparently, told him not to wear it that day but Kennedy wore it regardless because he didn't want people to see him wincing from the pain.
Kennedy had a horrible, rare disease called Addison’s Disease - a form of Adrenal Insufficiency - which causes a myriad of problems. Kennedy injured his back rescuing his boat mates when they were sunk by the Japanese. He had to have back surgery but the Addison’s made it very difficult for him to survive the surgery. The guy suffered a lot

I think the major issue with all this is just how much circumstantial evidence there is. Any single example could easily be written off on it's own. However, together they all paint a blurry picture. One with a second shooter.
There's no good evidence that anyone was involved besides Oswald, or that there was a second shooter.
The term 'conspiracy theory' came from the FBI to describe people who wanted to make videos like this. So yes. This is literally a conspiracy theory by the definition of the creator of the term.
Being the granddaughter of a Master Machinist, I have the utmost respect for my Grandpa, his meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to eyeball 0.125 inch (⅛ inch).
Grandpa made his own tools, and he took his job seriously. He took pride in his work and got another Machinist job with Naval Ordnance after he retired From Dupont.
I would say Oswald was lucky to get such a job.
I actually have a family connection to this! My grandfather on my dad's side. Clayton L. beard jr. was a dog handler in the Air Force from 1961 to 66. The day before Kennedy was assassinated he was off duty. But the base commander came in stating that Air Force One was going to be landing and then they needed a security detail. All the men would get an extra $5 per hour in a pack of cigarettes signed by the president. My grandfather obviously having the day off and volunteered because he wanted some extra spending money. He got off shift at around 6:00 in the morning. Went to sleep and when he woke up the president was dead. I wish you still had the cigarettes or at least the pack but he had to quit smoking over 40 years ago.

If you’re willing to consider fiction as a possible source, I recommend The Third Bullet by Stephen Hunter. His proposal is much more practical than most as based on a very good firearms and ballistics knowledge. Hunter ( a Pulitzer Prize winning movie critic) also writes a really decent story

Even more interesting is the possibility that Oswald didn't use the scope at all. He was trained in the Marine Corps to shoot at targets 300+ yards with iron sights. Clint Hill is the last surviving Secret Service member on the JFK assassination motorcade. He is 91.

Clint Hill admitted to drinking at a club until the early hours before the assassination and to being slow to react. He, and some others, were criticised by the Warren Commission. Instead of being fired, Hill was promoted.

Clint is not the only Secret Service Agent alive. SSA Paul Landis was assigned to Jacqueline Kennedy’s security detail along with Clint Hill. Paul released a book NOV 2023 titled “The Final Witness: A Kennedy Secret Service Agent Breaks His Silence After 60 Years.” Paul attests that he was the person who found the ‘magic bullet’ in the Limo seat, next to Mrs. Kennedy. He put it in his pocket, then placed on JFK’s stretcher in the ER Room.

A Chicago trip had been canceled due to a threat, and also there was a threat in Florida that year. It was basically "open season" for shooting a President. The Dealy Plaza location was the best place in Dallas for that motorcade to be the most vulnerable.

My physics teacher in high school had us to a physics problem where the result was the object receiving the force seemed to move backwards rather than forwards (we got a negative number rather than a positive number). After that problem about balls hitting each other he then made an off hand reference to the JFK assassination. Just because his head went backwards doesnt mean that the force came from the front but is a consequence of the conservation of momentum or something. I wish I paid more attention but that has always stuck with me. If anyone could explain this I would love to hear it.
It has to do with conservation of momentum and a small fast object putting its energy into more matter moving slower.
Kinetic energy is proportional to velocity squared while momentum is proportional to velocity. A bullet has relatively little momentum but a whole lot of energy. When it enters something, shall we say, squishy, it can transfer a lot of that energy and you go from a tiny amount of matter moving fast to a larger amount of matter just expanding outwards slower in all direction. Then, if some of it is allowed to spray outwards, it acts like a rocket pushing the rest of the material back. Thus momentum is conserved but it's new momentum generated by the energy going into the previously stationary matter.
Simpler version: when you shoot something squishy it can explode and act like a rocket, in any direction not just the direction of the incoming projectile

Medical forensics specialists have also made the point that at the speed a bullet would’ve gone through his head, his head wouldn’t have been moving forward at that point. By the time his body would have even reacted to that bullet passing through his head, the bullet would have been 100 m down the road. Don’t forget it went through his brain, your brain controls all nerves and muscles and bones in your body. It’s completely plausible that you could be shot from behind and your body spasms in the direction. The bullet came from which would throw his head back. If you punch someone in the head, their head travels in the direction, the punch is going. Because the punch can’t literally go through your head. Therefore your head or your fist needs to give up the space and recoil. This is a bullet going at supersonic speed through his head.

By your statement you are saying they are all correct, even though they are all contradicting one another. Literally can’t be the case. Please make an episode about the death of Ms. Kilgallen as Kevin mentioned at the end of the video. I’m sort of surprised to hear Simon accept the possibility of two completely unrelated shooters both happening to open fire within seconds of each other, in the same time and place, randomly… given that I’ve heard Simon reference Occam’s razor on numerous occasions. The chances of that are so infinitesimally small that it’s absurd. Also, regarding the potential involvement of the CIA, remember that at the time president Kennedy was assassinated, anyone who wanted to investigate any aspect of the CIA’s then ongoing project MK Ultra would have been ridiculed and dismissed out of hand (in the same way that Simon seems to dismiss any possibility of government involvement in the JFK assassination). I think the possibility should be looked in to, it’s not like we’re talking about aliens building the pyramids or 9/11 conspiracy theories… I have no idea, and I’m not saying I believe it, but I don’t discount it, either.

Nope, it has never been proven that the bullet hole in his back near the base of his neck and the bullet hole in the front of his throat were caused by two separate bullets, nor has it ever been proven that the bullet hole in the front of his throat was caused by a shot from the front. And it most definitely has never been proven that any bullet entered his right temple, and the majority of the evidence suggests otherwise. Had a bullet really entered his right temple we should expect the exit damage to be somewhere in the left hemisphere of his head, yet at both Parkland and Bethesda the damage was described as being more in the right half of his skull than the left half. Also, a bullet entry is usually much smaller than the bullet exit, yet the Zapruder film shows quite a large amount of damage in his right temple area, with those big, horrible flaps of bone and scalp in front of his right ear. And it is difficult to believe, as some have claimed, that that detail in the Zapruder film was "added" later and did not appear in the "original" film, because Zapruder himself said only two hours after the shooting on live television, before he or anyone else had yet seen the developed film for the first time ever, that he saw the right temple area of JFK's head explode, as did nearly all of the other closest witnesses on JFK's right as well, including Emmett Hudson, Bill Newman, Gayle Newman, and Marilyn Sitzman. None of them said that they saw any portion of the entire rear half of his head explode.
Also the statements of the Dealey Plaza witnesses taken as a whole support the idea of a single shooter better than they support the idea of multiple shooters, although many people have mistakenly claimed otherwise. Of all the witnesses who ever expressed any opinion whatsoever regarding which direction(s) or location(s) the shots sounded as if they came from, the vast majority said that all the shots sounded as if they came either from the TSBD and nowhere else, or all came from the grassy knoll and nowhere else. Out of more than 200 witnesses I can only recall four, total, who contemporaneously claimed that the shots came from multiple directions: Sam Holland, Paul Landis, A.J. Millican, and Dave Powers.

People have been camping out at the JFK library since the files have been being declassified. The CIA killed Kennedy, it's clear. The FBI helped cover up the investigation. The secret service pressured people to go along with the narrative and the Mob tied up loose ends. There's overwhelming evidence of this now. The connections between the groups began with Operation Underworld. It all started while Eisenhower was President and he tried to warn the public with his farewell speech.

I just visited the memorial last September. I was there testifying in a federal case against a man found guilty of fraud, who is also facing murder charges. FBI, federal and state prosecutors, all that. He did not follow ANY of your rules.
