I suffered from almost precisely the same level of vision loss as you described unfortunately after six years now I’ve been informed that the optic nerve in my right arm is dying and I’m losing the light perception. I must say the various charities in the UK are wonderful, the RNIB and Box Vision The charities I am involved with an hour in tearful I’ve made the transition to severely visually impaired possible. I don’t know how I would’ve coped without them
