When you clean airbrushes are you not afraid that sometimes you would do a smire or smudge on a shirt your painting i mean i personally try to be extreamly carefull to not touch the element im painting on.

Question : What about cartoon characters like Daffy duck Yousemini smith and all the other characters, i usually draw them first on A3 and then cut and make my own stencils with a laminating machine, i do not use them overly much but more like a sketch tool what about you ?

Haha. I was skipping through the vid and happened to be watching the bit where he was painting your hat and I saw the comment at the same time. As an artist I confess that I too sometimes roll my eyes at color request, *however*, I'm somwtimes pleasantly surprised by the results and happy that I ended up finding nice color combinations that I would have otherwise been unlikely to try. Looked nice IMO and Dale did a great job with it.
@@darrenezzell1010 I think the channel is great but being criticized is not cool. I support the channel through monthly subscription, stickers and buying his art (hats) online. Even sharing the vids to social media. My husband makes fun cause he never seen me so amazed at these videos. He calls me a groupie. So whether no meant like that I feel like it shouldn't have been said. Sometimes the thing that's unusual is the most beautiful thing u ever saw. And that's how Autism is. My 4 year old is on the spectrum and there are only a few particular colors that won't fuel sensory overload, a tantrum or out right melt down.
And those are the colors. I use them in my business and they compliment each other well.

@@karenwhite3578 I know Dale didnt mean anything by it because I've been there and appreciate all my customers regardless of what they request, but I get what you're saying. And while I don't know what your specific situation might be like, I do know what it's like to have to accommodate the idiosyncrasies of a special needs kid..... I have a 13 yr old son with down syndrome. Kudos to you for making your daughter happy.... I know it can be a challenge.
Hey again. I'm truly sorry that I was insensitive with my wording there. I realized after the fact that I actually just read the sentence wrong, and really it made perfect sense. I don't mean to upset anyone - especially someone who's supporting me directly! I certainly meant no real judgment by what I said, about making changes, color schemes, or anything else. Trying to read and comprehend the order while talking live can be difficult, I filled the space, and made a bad choice of words. I apologize..
Like Darren said, those colors aren't something I would have went to, but they looked great together at the end.

Whatever you like, really. These are 4ft fluorescents. Placement is more important. You don't want to be blocking your own light.

Hey Dale have your thought of doing a dimensional 3D lettering as in the letters are triangular or pyramid in shape, caught one shirt from the corner of my eye and it looked like triangular word looked real cool

Do you use both transparent and opaque paints in creative?,looking to mess around just doin shirts by stencil than freehand next.want to order but just noticed you use opaque paints also
I use opaque black and white, but the rest are transparent.
If I need opaque in another color, I usually just mix it with some opaque white.

And once your your done laying down your lettering in trans...and you've layinyed down your black lining,is the paint your filling with paint you've mixed yourself from the trans and opaque white?
Almost all of my colors are not mixed. Just straight from the bottle, sometimes with a little reducer. I have a light blue and a light yellow that I made by mixing with some white, but I rarely use them.
The fill colors are always (mostly) transparent.
