The focus of the video is on Israel’s actions, because they are the ones that compete in Eurovision. Why would they make a video criticizing Hamas, if they are not competing??? Russia was banned from Eurovision following its invasion of Ukraine. In light of the devastation and destruction caused by Israel, many feel uncomfortable with them participating. KAN has also promoted propaganda and Eden’s entry had to be changed because she used political language. They were exactly right to worry in this video, because during the competition, Israel paid advertisements to get people to vote for Eden (in violation of the rules). This was also a very large distraction that took away from the other contestants! I do feel terrible for the hostages (more so than their own government apparently), but allowing Israel to compete was a mistake. The division is not this video.
