I didn’t realize how young Jan was during the wig fiasco in the ACTUAL show. The movie version made me think she did the wig episode in a later season when she was older. Come to think of it, Jan and Marcia’s relationship got more chill when they were teenagers on the show.

True story. In sixth grade, my best freind came to shool and seemed to look somewhat different. We couldn't fingure it out.. then finally,, it was a wig! Seems he had gotten a hair cut that he didn't like. His father, who was bald, had several wigs/toupees, and my freind took one and put it on for school

Long straight hair was very popular late 60's into mid 70's. After that it wasn't for a while. I'm a bit younger than Eve Plumb,I remember cutting mine because everyone else was.

i never noticed that Margie is the same actress who plays Muriel 2 years later in season 4 The Show Must Go On. Also can anyone help me with the Actress who played Lucy i dont know her name although ive seen this episode on TV Land numerous times in reruns. the only actress i know of is Kym Karath from the sound of music who played Kerry. Hope Sherwood who was in the slumber caper and the hair brained scheme, Carolyn Reed (Reed's) real life daughter in The Slumber Caper and Barbara Henderson (Henderson's) real life daughter in the Slumber Caper as Well.
The actress playing Lucy is Pamelyn Ferdin. She was on EVERYTHING in the 60's and 70's, including being the voice of Lucy in the Charlie Brown specials.
