Eagles and Bills are on a tier of their own right now. Right below them is the Lions. Then I put Vikings and Chiefs on the 3rd tier. That’s my Super Bowl bubble too. Ravens, Packers, and Steelers all feel like Conference Championship game ceiling. Rams, Bucs, and Texans can win a game. The rest are one and done.
@GerryHutchings I'm so sick of this narrative. He's 24. Jayden Daniels is 24. Caleb Williams is 23. Are they old too or does that not fit the narrative?
I’m a Ravens fan who wanted the Ravens to trade up to the first pick in the 2nd round to draft Lamar Jackson . So I’ve super happy and I know I’m biased but how do the guys on ESPN think Josh Allen is better than Lamar Jackson but Lamar Jackson will be criticized more for not winning a Super Bowl . Seems like no matter what Lamar does he can’t win .
I’m a Lamar fan, he has put up more than a few stinkers in the playoffs, not ALL completely on him from stat perspective and eye test it hasn’t been great. And when you get that “playoff choke” label, it’s REALLY hard to shake off, ask early career Peyton Manning.
That’s exactly why LOL, cause he can’t win come the playoffs, he’s the only two time MVP without a ring, and Josh hasn’t beaten the Cheifs in the playoffs but he’s played the best against them (aside from Burrow) you can argue his team let him down. So yeah I’d say the criticism is fair.
He is criticized because he can't win in the playoffs allen has lost twice in the afc chip. He has played well against everyone except chiefs. And lamar chokes in the playoffs, that's why. If lamar was making it to the afc chip and losing and allen was getting kicked out first round and second round, then allen would get crushed
Herbert and Stroud are Franchise QBs. Nick Wright comes down on Herbert harder because it's a division rival of the Chiefs. Nick Wright with Stroud also still hasn't gotten over what he did to Caleb Williams, but to still be holding onto that weeks over nothing really is very immature and petty lmao. Nick Wright gotta grow up fr with that grudge against Stroud 😂😂 As for the Chiefs, here's what it comes down to for me. Buffalo was the team to obviously give them the loss that they have and Josh Allen announced in that game with the dagger TD run that if it comes down to it, I can by myself put the game in my own hands and take down Goliath. Can Josh Allen do it again in January to KC with Mahomes ? This is NOT the same KC team or Mahomes of even last year & this is a different Josh Allen than year's past. The TOs are down, but the typical Josh Allen plays are still there. Can he slay the historic dynasty in KC in the playoffs & if he does, it'll confirm what we've all been thinking all season long. It'll show that KC all year long was overrated in the sense of being fortunate to beat a lot of mediocre/bad teams this year, getting many good breaks in many games, but never really being as dominant as their record might suggest, especially because when they faced the best team on their schedule, they lost convincingly. It's as simple as that. If Josh Allen carries this play into the PS vs KC, he'll win & go on to win the SB. Once you slay the dragon, you feel more free and that's dangerous with a stud like JA
The Bills have beaten the Chiefs the last 3 regular season games they’ve played, including twice at Arrowhead. All three times Allen looked like Superman. They’ve “slayed the dragon” multiple times. And they’re still 0-3 against the Chiefs in the playoffs. You’re singing the exact same song everyone sang last year. At some point you might want to change your tune.
@@seanbrennan2467 Josh Allen wasn't protecting the ball near as well those previous years playing as well as he is this year. There was no James Cook at RB those previous years. Mahomes was playing better all those other years. So was Kelce. Also, for 2 of those 3 playoff meetings, Tyreek Hill was there. It's way different than any of those 3. Because of all of these factors, it doesn't matter at all what happened those last 3 years. It's literally irrelevant. As these teams stand right now, the Bills will beat the Chiefs if Josh Allen plays like he's been playing recently. It's that simple. Much like Julian, I don't care what happens in previous years more times than not. I judge this year and this year only. This year's Chiefs are not the 2020, 2021, 2023 Chiefs. Same with the Bills. It's a new year. Josh will win simply by playing like himself. It's really that simple
@@jctslice yup, just like last year the Chiefs weren’t the same, and the year before they weren’t the same, and on and on. “If Josh Allen plays like this” has been the reasoning for the last two times these teams played Allen was favored. Both times he took home the L. To act like this hasn’t happened before sets you up for disappointment. All your reasons were the same reasons given last year. And the year before. And the year before. At some point, when a team shows a pattern of playing their best when it matters most, it might be time to think they’ll probably do it again. Also, James Cook WAS on the team last year. Maybe if you cared about past seasons you’d know who was on the roster.
@@seanbrennan2467 I don't believe in that. I have prior experience of being burned by this. As a Patriots fan back then, I had this same kind of thinking you did about the Colts in 2006. Remember, Peyton Manning was the historically talented QB that could never beat Brady in the playoffs & no matter what, there was no reason to ever believe he would, right ? He beat Brady in the 2005 & 2006 regular seasons, but lost to him in the playoffs twice. History said never bet against Brady vs Manning at that time. I believed that & I had the exact same mindset you did. I had no fear or reason to believe that Manning would ever win & guess what ? He did. From that point on, I stopped leaning on history because I soon learned that history means absolutely nothing in a given year. It's about what you do in that given year. Whoever wins, it'll be because they were the better team this year. History won't factor in at all. It never does. It's about what you do in the year that you're in
@@jctslice that’s literally apples and oranges. Those Peyton Manning years were “this is Peyton’s year” not “the Patriots lost it”. Every argument you’ve made are not only the exact arguments from last year, they’re the same from two years ago. To ignore history dooms yourself to repeat it. I have going on 7 years of data telling me the Chiefs are different in January and February. The Chiefs were not better in the regular season then the Bills last year. And the Ravens. And the Niners. And what happened? The Bills are very good, have been for a long time. Allen is the 2nd best QB in football. If the Bills were playing the November Chiefs, they’d win. Just like they have 3 times in a row. But they won’t be playing the November Chiefs. They’ll be playing the January Chiefs. And to act like those are the same teams means you haven’t been paying attention.
Julian is bringing up ex- players saying they think bo nix is a great quarterback 😂 and Julian agree 😂 BUT SOMEHOW THOSE SAME PLAYERS SAY GOAT MAHOMES IS THE BEST PLAYER AND EVERYTHING GOES THROUGH THEM, HE DOESN'T AGREE
Oh it’s so funny how easy to predict your videos. History doesn’t matter playoff success and winning doesn’t matter. Chiefs are overrated bills are the absolute best thing on planet earth. The lions in purgatory take was dumb since this a real time evaluation you don’t get to just ignore injuries. You don’t ever want to critique any qb except Mahomes. Nicks take on Herbert and stroud is absolutely spot on. This tiers is best spot on. I don’t agree with everything but it’s very minimal the amount of changes I would make. Really you don’t ever want to critique any team other than the chiefs you just try put a positive spin on every single team. Someone has to be better than others they all can’t be equal. There will be one superbowl winner my friend. I’m here to tell you won’t like the result and will find excuses unless the bills or eagles win the whole thing. If the bills win I’m sure will be shouting form the rooftops how Josh Allen is a god when he still is a canyon short of Mahomes even if he finally does surpass in one postseason.

I can’t wait for “Nicks Tears” when Lamar and the Ravens get a chip
Lol
That's not going to happen
Of course the Rams and the Chiefs are much much much too high as usual - and to hear Nick saying "my Bills" is really pathetic 😂😂😂
