Mega Man ZX Advent is the second game in the Mega Man ZX series. What's so different between the classic series and ZX Advent? First, you get to choose between a male (Grey) and a female (Ashe) character. Then, instead of stealing weapons from the bosses, the player steals the boss itself! Instead of switching between weapons, the player switches between forms using the Biometal Model A. Finally, the player has less freedom to pick the stages of his choice.
In this run, hellagels and red-crowned-crane collect all secret disks, life ups, BM upgrades and sub tanks, achieving a 100% completion rate.

It’s always a good day when the Mega Man Zero and/or ZX series gets a TAS run.
Even though this one is from 2012.
I the TAS videos of these games. The movement is silky smooth and so satisfying to watch.

Always loved the OST on this game. ZX was cool, but ZXA definitely entered the memorable zone.
There have been rumblings about a ZX3, but they're unconfirmed, and even cryptic. Your move, CAPCOM.
The ZX games are my favorite and people actually do TAS’s?? Never been so happy to hear this. (A little shame you can’t skip cutscenes in TAS but I’m still happy to see one of my favorite series getting TAS’d nonetheless.)
These cutscenes just make me wish there was another mega man anime
I think it’s wild that 100% is not far off from any% for this game. This gives me hope since I recently got the 16 or 18 Mega Man games and I’m a trophy hunter.
Well.... there's a bunch of content not exactly covered in this "100%" run. This includes the boss medals, lots of sidequests, and even the 8-bit model. So you're going to look at a lot more hours on the side if you aim to really get EVERYTHING.
@@nisbahmumtaz909 Fair enough. I haven’t seen the achievements for all of the games, but I imagine it will be more than what this video shows.
@@nisbahmumtaz909 why did he get a medal on queen bee then? Doesn't that actually lose time? Also what exactly is 100%? Like what doesnt count?
@@brianli6562 One of the conditions for getting Queenbee's silver medal is to hit only her bottom (her weakspot). Just happens to align with best DPS strat for the boss I guess. Look at the TAS description, and you will see what's officially the defined 100% standard.

I like how Siarnaq estimates the time to Maverick generation as 5717 seconds. Do the math...and you'll find that this run comes in under that. :)
Quick question: Why doesn't the TAS skip the cutscenes? Are they unskippable first playthrough?

I completed this game 100% in expert mode, all transports active, all quest, all secret disks and all pseudoroids medals in 2:22:13.

As much as I love Capcom, I'll be the first to admit that DS Mega Man ZX Advent sure is no Ultra Street Fighter II X Turbo.
