The results are amazing!!😻😻😻 I’m a licensed cosmetologist, you don’t want to condition the hair before toning because it closes the hairs cuticle allowing the toner to not be able to penetrate into the hair shaft ❤️
I love this! Can I ask if it’s possible to get the same result using a hair dye that is a few shades lighter? I know it would need to be not previously dyed. I love the look but for myself, I’m worried about lightening my hair too much as it’s prone to drying out. Hope my Q makes sense.
I tend to stick with 20 volume on natural hair tbh (especially if I’m not going more than 4-5 shades lighter). Takes longer but keeps the integrity of the hair 😁
This is such a great and informative video. I recently dyed my hair professionally and it was a nightmare 🙃 ( video on my channel In case you wanna see the horror for yourself lol) Looking back I wish asked for balayage ! Her hair came out so flawless and natural looking!! You give me hope for professional hair stylist!
@@FolaFash I'm going to attempt this thank you for the info, would it be better for me to lift with a 20 or 30 vol developer? I have dark brown hair level 3 and I was going to use wella color charm in 5n/511 I want to get to a light brown🙂

I’m not sure 😄😄 but I’d just say take a screenshot and show your stylist. It’s the best way to communicate colour tbh.
Could do you please what toners is this?
She has exact natural hair color as me. I’ll try and see if I can get highlights
This is really lovely 👍👏
Did you use clay lightener or regular lightener. Beautiful results! ❤️

Looks good, great job 🤩😍
What are the colors that you used? It's beautiful 😍😍😍
Lightener to lift her hair and an ash brown colour to tone (around a level 5)
@@FolaFash oh ok thank you so the ash brown is an actual dye that you placed on top?
Yes, a permanent colour.

You probably don’t need a lightener but if you do then 3% is best since you’re only going up 2 levels anyway
Her hair is beautiful but why didn’t the stylist smooth out her edges? Hair looked sort of greasy
Nice outcome.......
Nigerians really are very ignorant with most things that involves their hair.....glad you are making a difference
🥰🤩
Hi girl your number One. Thank
